All told about chakras is true.

If you already heard about clairvoyant vision then you should know that in thsis way people reached to see the enegy body and do reaserches on it.

These are great questions to ask.  That's a gripe I have with some metaphysical/pagan types:  they just take every book they read at face value without ever asking "why?"

I don't have answers for you, since I've wondered the same thing myself.  I tend to disregard a lot of the associations, since they don't make sense to me yet.  Except locations, since I can plainly feel them.

well, they tell me what can  i do to achieve this and that, and in return i don't have to sit in a cave for 20 years meditating like a spider, but instead read an interesting book and improve my life (applied understanding of course), our civilization is based on passing knowledge and from things we learned we find our own way and then inquire the teachings
of course this can lead us astray, but it's better(and definitely faster) than nothing, that's what i feel

Wow! I'd love to see a chakra.  I think I'll make that my next astral mission, (but I can't project at will, so usually I have to wait until a sleep paralysis episode *sigh*)

I think I've seen my astral arms a few times - usually they just look like a white mist, but one time I could see a sort of network of blueish white points of light connected by thin threads of light.  Very beautiful.

I once read an astonishingly detailed description of the astral body in a book, I'll try and dig it out some time.

RB said that NEW came out of his exploration of his own energy body - "with a fine tooth combe" I think was the phrase.

The connections to tones and etc could be formed through experience or a deeper understanding of the chakra system and its interconnections to human emotions etc. Etc chakra is based in a gland so I dont doubt this is true, nor from personal experience that chakras are connected to different emotions with primary emotional types and etc. Then when you listen to tones, those tones will evoke certain emotions in you as well, and they can be matched up. These tones are then used in practise.
While I think many of the connections have deep roots which are valid and true (eg resonance, with chakras actually having their own "tones" or corresponding tones due to harmonic matching), I think even if you get them wrong it doesn't matter "too" much as its the intent that plays a big part. I may be wrong there though!
Colour association to vibration is, I think, another case of harmonic matching. 7 tones in a scale, 7 colours in the rainbow, 7 chakras etc. Or you could look at it from another point of view eg auras, personality types, favourite colours etc.
And as for godesses and symbology well that is at the very least for the most part the creation of man so......if they say so and you then understand it thats what matters.

That's a very bald statement. (that everything is true).  Yes, such people claim to know their stuff about chakras, but that doesn't mean they are telling everything! Sure they tell some interesting facts to keep the herd happy, but it's also very possible they are withelding/distorting their foundations. For this I have two explanations: either they think it's better for our growth not to know everything, or it is for more selfish(wanting to be superior?) reasons...

It would be great if one of the more advanced ASTRAL PROJECTORS on this forum takes a deeper look into this for us...that's a request[]...Whoa, that'd be GREAT!

The problem with the new age industry today is that it is a very commercialized and most are in it for the money.

There are very and I mean very few who really are sufficiently psychically developed to really seperate the facts from  fiction when it comes to the mystical sciences.

The few mystics however who are qualified, most have taken oaths of secrecy and will never divulge the real truth to the mysteries unless for very good reasons (e.g healing the sick)

There are already enough physical weapons of mass destruction on the planet we do not need the creation of any psychic ones

well by meditating or "looking within" or whatever to see the colors of the chakras, we already knwo what colors to expect, so it could be psychological. the root to the crown go in rainbow order supposedly. but if i took someone brand new to energy and all this i could say the root is green, the naval is red, the crown is yellow ect. and tell him to go mediatate and he would expect those colors and get it. how do you know we're not doing the same thing here? creating our own colors?

i think the colors you meditate on do not matter, you bind a color to a chakra and whenever you think about the color the chakra responds
however, aura colors corespond to your personality (or temporary emotions/mind states), and to your dominating chakras, so for example if you are emotional (even if it's temporary), your aura will be probably green or green mixed with another hue, and heart chakra will be more developed than others
better use traditonal colors so not be messed up when/if you start seeing auras

[Reality]

All the information on the chakra's, their functions, their god(esses), symbols, and how colors associate to their vibrations , their locations etc are all fine and interesting to read......

But the question to me is, how did people gain this knowledge? From old and sacred documents? Or have some of these people(in our current reality) verified this stuff personally, by projecting inside the energy system?

They all present their stuff as fact, but for all I know they might just be immitating the words of some source outside themselves.

What is true, and what is misunderstood about chakra's?!
