Well this is third time I referenced this thread today:
http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=13551
Trying to get beyond obe phantoms is not easy, there seems to be a continume between obe's and lucid dreams and maybe we can get beyond it by concentration.
In the world in general and in this nation
May not even the names disease, famine, war, and suffering be heard.
May virtuous qualities, merit, and prosperity greatly increase
And may continuous good fortune and subline well-being perfectly arise.

HI again
I have used a timer to get lucid dreams evrey time.
http://www.saltcube.com:10040/out-of-body/chat-forum/viewTopic.jsp?t=rhythm-napping

In my dreams i know I am about to have a lucid. But with the timer it fells different. Normaly without timer I have a feeling that my head expands just when I become lucid. With the timer I am just there with no symptoms. I think it must be a lucid dream because the scenes from the dream is the same. When i look at my hands I see them. Tonight there were somthing like a metallic fluid I could move on my hands. I usually dont see my hands becayse they are melted away. The spinning action to change scenes is not working. With timer i dont get the heavy feeling og gravety when spinning.
And finally with timer i sometimes find it difficult to focus, but that is adjustable. I havent had an obe yet, and I dont know if it is obe´s i get. All the symptoms you describe while obeing is not there. So What is happening? Is it just another type of lucid dream or am I obe´ing? If so is there some tests to be sure?
First time i tried the timer i woke and was frozen in place. Scary experience.
Thanks :)
