Predictions for '05?

I'm always intrigued to read predictions/prophecies.  To me, it's like reading a book, which has a story and a plot, but with a very limited life.  It makes for great stories because we can relate to them (basic psychology).  Anyhow, I'm just intrigued to know what everyone thought about the new year.  Any predictions, gut feelings, guesses?

Personally, I feel that the pope will be retired (My first impression was lungs, but I feel something cardio - Maybe both or somehow related).  I also expect the typical increase in disaster (it's been nothing new for a while now).  My flood dream comes again to mind.  An earthquake followed by a tectonic plate shift would definitely flood the area in no time, while spawning new land; California rings a huge bell there \.  But '05 doesn't seem like inception and not the birth.

Well, I predict I'll turn 45 this year !!  And I may not like it when the realization hits me.

UFO reports and sightings should increase dramatically, with more appearing over larger population centers.

Earthquake New Zealand....  not just one of the normal hundreds felt there each year.  Major quake this year for that lovely country.

US goes into Iran.... possibly, so don't quote me saying I said it had to happen.  It's currently a possibility not a probability.

US does not bring all troops home from Iraq in '05.

More media sensationalism to help cover what Israel is doing in the Palestinian lands.  So we don't see what is happening and we can expect more of this 'not-the-news' fluff we are getting now.

I am very interested in prophecy/predictions myself and would also like to hear (read) any predictions for 2005.

to many people always seem to pop up and say "i KNEW that was going to happen", but its always after the event HAS happened. Not that they are trying bovine excrement us, but because they fear ridicule if they speak up before hand. I see too many people get shot down in forums because their predictions dont come true (some cases i admit are deserving... but not all)
how is one suppose to practice and hone their skills if fear of being shot down holds them back.

personaly i dont have any predictions for 2005, but i am getting a feeling for something in late march, i dont know what it is so i guess its not a prediction, but would like to know what others think.

with all the tectonic plate movement in the pacific im surprised that tsunami didnt originate there. there has been quite a few people in australia predicting a tsunami wiping out the eastern side of australia for years now.

I think the next big thing that happens will come from space... what say the rest of you?

In no way am I a prophet or do I claim to be but I do like to read predictions and to make some myself, so for 2005 my predictions are based on information, dreams, planets and numbers, maybe it's just a guess but I'll give it a try.

Of course earthquakes and volcanoes are always big news and Mt St Helens is one to watch, it's been active for quite some time now and a new dome has formed, but I've been wrong about her before. South America is a hot spot for earthquakes, volcanoes and UFO activity. Japan should be aware of building activity underground.
January and May 2005, specifically 29th of May.

February might see the rise of diseases from the tsunami epidemic which will spread like wildfire across the world but this might be contained due to the effort people are putting in to help these unfortunate fellow human beings.

June and July is where California might come into the spotlight for all the wrong reasons. Also Pakistan might have a nuclear accident. I think these two months will be the worst world wide. Las Vegas would be a place to set off such a device as it would wipe out most of that city but would be easily contained.

July through to August Israel should be aware that an earthquake might come to the cripple it's country. The Dome of the Rock might come under attack by Israel separatists.

August and September have been bad months for Russia over many years so don't be shocked if more bad news comes around those months. A meteor might impact or an earthquake might hit a nuclear power station. Also a famous lead singer from a band will pass after the release of his/hers latest work.

UFOs are always seen throughout the years and I have only ever seen 1 but this year should be a good year. Like the Mexican one that was filmed by jet fighter pilots under thermal vision and then was announced by their government in 2004 I think that perhaps a bigger incident will occur and a clearer picture will be painted about these visitors. Around March and May 2005.

Please take these with a grain of salt, I'm just giving my opinion of what I think may or may not happen in 2005.

I feel a relatively quiet year ahead of us.

Yes, the middle east will get more tense
A couple series of nasty weather is on the way
The Scandinavian countries will quietly get economically stronger
US will continue in it's roman empire like decline until the people stand up for themselves and stop hoping for someone else to save them (But not this year)
Some pretty good alternative medicine ideas will slip out of Australia
China will continue in it's odd, quiet, spiritual climb
More riots in Africa as they all still feel unheard and misunderstood
Costa Rica gets a little more scrutiny because there system of no army, better health care and education seems to be working
A couple shakes in Argentina
Gas prices will go down for awhile but people no longer are buying into the false sense of security.
Rolling electrical blackouts across the cities in the world gets more people thinking about alternative energy sources

The major story I believe is that eyes will continue to watch the tsunami disaster. restorative costs will go up, disease will go up, food will get scarcer, water is more precious then gold.
People will continue to put themselves in the "it could have been me" mindset and begin to at least mentally prepare.  
Begin appreciating their family just a smidgen more.
Think about their health and begin to not take their healthy body quite so much for granted.
Appreciate that bite of food, think about maybe a garden wouldn't be such a bad idea
Appreciate that drink of water
Appreciate plumbing
Think just a little less about terrorism, and think just a little bit more of humanity unity. And the difference we make/made when we pulled together for this global action
I predict this is going to set a firm grip in our collective consciousness with the fruits to come later.

April till may 2005, there will be the beginning of the omen, i am not sure wether we will see it begin like Tsunami or if we will cause it to start between those months. You can believe whatever you want to, but you don't understand the difference here, this time I am seeing is since 3 years already, my friends are which all together we're with 8 people all over the world, my personal guide is telling it me that it's a possebility. Now the difference is, this time i am getting this from myself and friends, not from "them".

I am still sceptical, i am not saying it WILL hapen, because it can hapen. I didn't had a holy moly über vision of somekind or god that told me this or whatever. I am just keeping in mind that IF it hapens, it would confirm my feelings about the rest of MY future. Nothing els

I rarely foresee things per se.

That said, Every time I see a news story about that new bridge in France,supposedly the biggest in the world,  I get this weird scene that unwinds in my head:

Somewhere late this year or in 1st half of 2k6, there is a small device that is detonated at one end or the other of the thing.  There is no real damage.  Rather, it is done as a clandestine operation at the behest of US intelligence agents... it is made to  look like one of the Muslim factions are responsible, and the US wanted to swing French public sentiment. (That the US is behind it is never made public, of course).  The whole event goes largely unnoticed though.. it makes the news, but not the lead story, and is soon forgotten... as at this point, the conflict there in the middle east has become regional, expanding into Iran, Turkey, and  the "stans" region.  The US is driven out. of most of the area.

good to see lots of different thoughts coming out for this year, just shows me that others feel something building up to.

i know that a lot of this is doom and gloom, but i believe it is good to keep the mind open to these possibilities so that we can be partly prepare mentally if and when some of these things do happen. disaster is always going to be around the corner, and in a time of crisis, the true volunteer spirit comes out in humanity with the need to help our fellow man. so i guess even in bad times something good can come out of it, humans pulling together to help their fellow man and uniting as one. we don't see the tsunami victims as "Asian" we see them as "people" needing help, so we helped.

so i guess being human isn't always something we have to be ashamed of LOL

Had a strong feeling last night. It was a large explosion that I heard and felt inside, it shook me to the core, but it was inside me. Australia is in danger for some reason. The next 48 hours are vital. I hope nothing occurs.

US commandos have already begun searching for secret chemical and nuclear weapon sites in Iran, according to a new report.

The Bush administration views the hard-line Islamic country as the next big war zone, an unnamed former intelligence official told this week's The New Yorker magazine.

"This is a war against terrorism, and Iraq is just one campaign," he said "Next, we're going to have the Iranian campaign.

"We've declared war and the bad guys, wherever they are, are the enemy. This is the last hurrah - we've got four years, and want to come out of this saying we won the war on terrorism."

Investigative reporter Seymour Hersh, who first revealed the Abu Ghraib prisoner abuse scandal in Iraq, claims US teams have penetrated eastern Iran with Pakistan's help.

He asserts he was repeatedly told that the next strategic target was Iran.

"Everyone is saying, `You can't be serious about targeting Iran. Look at Iraq," the ex-intelligence official said.

"But they say, `We've got some lessons learned - not militarily, but how we did it politically. We're not going to rely on agency pissants. No loose ends, and that's why the CIA is out of there."

Iran has long resisted demands to open its nuclear energy program to inspectors, fuelling speculation and international tensions.

While it has agreed to temporarily halt its enrichment programs, which generate fuel for nuclear power plants, western countries including Britain are aiming to persuade its leaders to go further and dismantle its machinery.

In return, Iran is reportedly calling for solid benefits from Europe, including oil-production technology and heavy-industrial equipment.

Hersh told CNN that if targets are lined up by this summer, US attacks may follow.

The report suggests that the Bush Administration has been conducting secret missions in Iran since last summer with intelligence gathering on nuclear, chemical and missile sites forming the focus.

"The goal is to identify and isolate three dozen, and perhaps more, such targets that could be destroyed by precision strikes and short-term commando raids," it reads.

Hersh quotes a government consultant who claims certain Pentagon civilians "want to go into Iran and destroy as much of the military infrastructure as possible"."

So there you have it..  wonder where this will lead ?

Thanks for sharing.  Initially, I was gonna write "This stuff is scarry" and in  some sense it truly is; but in another sense it isn't.  In general, it just sickens me to see how people play the game so intensely.  There's no doubt that the US has intelligence gatherers on multiple countries; heck it's not the only one doing that type of stuff, but it's the only country that's willing to bully people around.  I shoudl excuse myself as country truly isn't the right word.  Bush isn't even to be blamed, as he is only a puppet.  It's the demoncrats under him that control the strings and their agenda is a sick one.

In this book he gives informations about several different Nadigranthas which are ancient books on astrology (like Bhrigu Samhita, Satya Nadi, Kak Nadi etc.) This extract refers to 'Kak Nadi' by Kakayyar Bhujander, a great astrologer who lived nearly 2000 years ago.

"While Jupiter is in Pisces a great Yogi will incarnate on the Earth. By 1970 it will have become quite evident to many people that a new era will have started. Kaliyuga will end and Krutayuga will start. The axis of the Earth will depress and the Earth's orbit will come closer and closer to the Sun. Human life will undergo a complete revolution.
