What the hell is going on with the Earth?

What the hell is happening to the world?! I dont remember to see, during the last year unti the recent one, so many news about changings in the world.

Its like the worlditself get crazy. I only see news about earthquakes, heatwaves in unexpected places (russia) or cold weather as never seen in warm places; i see tsunamis; mountains falling (like the one in USA), to many fires in forests, dryness (my country- so wet, it is suffering with a dangerous dryness since December i think).

Can you explain what the hell is going on?

I think i have a clue...its the man itself. The greater politicians in the world dont care about these problems. They only want to see their reign becoming the richer and richer even if that means to create more pollution and destruction to the world.

Believe me that i am starting to get really scared with this situation.
I love you!

There have been a lot more weather problems than the ones you listed. I didn't see volcanoes, mudslides, or hurricanes on your list. If you will include problems going beyond just the weather, bird flu looks like it could be a problem. The world isn't ending. It is just a transition period which was overdue.

News tends to focus on the disasters, on the things that are going wrong with the world. The more newscasts, the more stations that are able to provide footage, then the more the news affects you. If it affects you more, you tend to remember it longer. So, increased new reports and longer coverage results with you remembering more of the disasters that you would otherwise possibly only hear a blurb about it on the news and forget about.

lines, you are correct: in a general way we will see more diasters because of what you said, but i am still thinking this last year there were more disasters than the normal..
I love you!

A mountain fell? When? Where? I haven't heard of this before.

-lines-

Perhaps the number of disasters is dropping, but the coverage of them is increasing. Unless you take your numbers from actual statistics, you cannot make a knowledgable judgement on the amount, seeing as the amount of disasters that occurs to you is dependent on the ones you know about.

It isn't a matter of what the news reports, etc. The UN has actually issued a warning that global weather is becoming increasingly erratic and that global warming is the obvious choice for receiving blame. Wasn't reported on much here in the US, and I can't fnd the original article I read, but it sounded pretty severe.

Global warming doesn't cause all natural disasters.

Hi Kasbadan... what you are seeing is a vast improvement of modern media technology so that everything gets reported these days!

The world is just as mad as it always has been, although now you get to know about it!

About the mountain that has fallen:

A vast portion of earth from a mountain (or a hill) as fall.  The effect it was similar to an avalanch, and it destroyed some houses.

I saw it on TV, dont remember any details, but it was terrif to see: the earth was flowing like a river, pushing the trees, and everything on its way.
I love you!

Tom

It sounds like the mudslides in California. That has been happening a lot recently. They didn't have enough water before and now they are getting far too much.

Kazbadan

maybe its that. But in the news on tv, they sayed that it was so strong that it was like a mountain falling.

Indeed, in the images on tv, you see an huge amount of mutslide, so big, that it leaves the mountain with a big hole. Crazy!

btw: i must clartify my theory: i am not speaking about the end of days or Gaia being mad with us. Maybe that could happen too, but my idea its other.

Its more simple: global changing in the earth due to years of bad treatment to our planet. Pollution , destruction of forests, etc, etc.

Thats the cause of some of the main problems i suppose.
I love you!

Weather anomilies caused the increase in rainfall. The rainfall was unusually high and it couldn't be absorbed into the dirt on the hill, ran off, and created a mudslide. The houses that are falling down steep hills are caused by the weight of the houses and the water in the soil causing that part of the hill to collapse. Yes, it happened a bunch within a short period of time, due to the unusual high amount of rainfall in BC and some of the states.

Yes !
Don't expose yourself to news so much, and it will go away.
I did the same and I feel very calm inside these days.

All the news is good for is bringing forth mass amounts of fear and TERROR. They've done more damage in the US than the terrorists in the 9/11 attack as far as I'm concerned. I will not allow the news to be watched in my house. I don't even like the TV on.  Look back to the days of the Roman Empire. Are we more violent of a civilization than then? I know that's a little off topic. But yes, Global Warming is real. We're not going to stop it. The Earth is beyond our control for the most part. It controls us, we don't control it.  Furthermore, the world has always been teetering on the brink of extinction. People want to hear about it. People want something to think about. People for the most part are excited to read and hear about end-all scenarios. Till it actually happens. Then we'll all be running around in circles with our tales between our legs like the spineless, limited, underdeveloped species that we are. As for the bird flu, well, what do you think happens, when you have 800,000 chickens in a small area, with workers walking around bare footed, wallowing in feces, feeding ground up dead chickens to chickens? God does not like that stuff, hence the bird flu.

When did this start happening?

It is said that the spiritual energies around the earth , as well as in this solar system and further more, are growing up so we are running closer every day to a huge change. It is said that everyone who does not change its behavior into a more spiritualized one will feel the effects of this increase of spiritual energy.  From many important sources it is said that this spiritual momentum will rich his climax in 2012; but until then the energies will continue to speed up and every time more unusual event will come on screen...

Ok, I'm open to discussion. "It is said" what is said?  Who says? What's happening? Care to expand upon your ideas/thories?

knucklebrain, it is easy....think 'deeep'.
energies grow = huge change
energies speedup = unusual events (e.g falling mountains)
Now link it up with 2012. So simple.
We should not doubt when 'many important sources' say this, especially when you are on the brink of extinction.

-lines-

As were we at the dawn of the years 1000 and 2000. Yes, we are all extinct now, aren't we?

Well I suppose some did not sense my sarcasm in the statement "the world is always teetering on the brink of extinction"

What I meant was that ever since the dawn of time there were prophecies and doomsayers,  stating the exact date that life would end. Now how many times has life ended now? I can't keep track. But 2012 on the other hand. That's been backed up with hard core scientific proof right? So we got 7 years left? Damn, I better start packing for Mars. But on the other hand that's why God made booze and drugs right? Booze and drugs make the pain go away

Someone said something about policticians that don't care.

That is not true, some policticians don't care, but others do. It all depends on who you vote for and who you put in office.

The people can make the change.
