Well, it was more of a nightmare, i was with a couple of friends in some scary butt place, i dont remember much of the place, but there was some sort of zombies there. I remember i was talking to a friend of mine and then i turned around and went to talk to him again and he wasn't there and thats when i realized i was dreaming, i was scared so i tried to imagine a gun on my waist, and when i reached for it it wasnt there, so i tried shooting these zombies with my fingers in the shape of a gun and it didnt work. thats all i remember, i was always thinking that when in lucid dream u can do whatever u want, but i guess not D:

There are different levels of lucidity, the highest of which is where you can control absolutly everthing that is happening (yourself, other people, the environment that you are in) while the other levels only enable you to move yourself and think as you normally would instead of watching it as a movie. I don't think that you even need to realize that you are dreaming to actually have the control associated with a lucid dream, because the few ones where it dawned on me that I was dreaming were short because my body was trying to wake up.

I have had the experience that if you are afraid something might happen (like the gun NOT being there, or your fingers NOT shooting), that this is exactly what happens, because you are thinking about it :)...

I have that a lot with guns running out of ammo: I can shoot practicly endless with a gun, untill I start wondering when the clip will be empty (usually at a crucial time) and then it runs out...

Just a thought ;)

I think taht in your first time you were not lucky....my first LD (that i can remembeR) was at at a few months ago. Briefly, i started flying and it was great! I had many flying dreams before but that one was incredible because i knew i was flying and the dream was even more vivid than everything, with many details.
I love you!

Well my first(intentional) lucid dream involved 2 werewolves chasing after me so I know how you feel.  Instead of trying to get rid of them I just showed them no fear and they changed into my 2 dogs that I of course get along with.  Just know that it's your world and nothing can hurt you and you will be fine.

If your like me you won't able to manipulate the environment very well at first.  It's not as easy as it sounds.  But after a lot of practice you will get good at it.

Indeed, just try easy things at first, that come natural to you (like the flying or something).
The rest of the abilities will follow after a while ...

This is very English, but why not offer the zombies a nice cup of tea instead of shooting them?

I did it once when I was little and was being chased by a monster.  You know when you are running in a dream, scared out of your wits, and suddenly your legs are stuck in treacle and you can't run any more?

I didn't have many options so I decided to turn round, face the monster and offer it a cup of tea.

The monster changed from being angry, smiled at me and sat down.

Hee hee - seems I faced that fear rather well, whatever it was...

We all find nonsenses to believe in; it's part of being alive.

In my first lucid dream I knew it was a dream and because it was a dream, I just expected that I could  do as I  pleased; and I found that I could control everything. So I think that it all comes down to what you EXPECT.

my first ld was absolutely a disaster. I was sitting in an almost dark, big place with lots of people next to me, some of them were familier to me. Then I felt like I'm on a dream and suddenly everything blurred and I began flying, but I didn't feel like I was flying. I just see the floor was going fast under me like I'm above it. Then I remember I was saying "Does it feel this way? Is ld is like we are still dreaming? Doesn't I supposed to see, hear, feel like I do in my real life?". Then I realized that I'm in my room, laying on my bed, then the exciting feeling appeared (just like it does when u try ap), then the chakra voices. I tried to ap at that moment but I couldn't and fell asleep...
The second LD was about 5days ago. and it was like this one too. The dream was a long one (a really long one, the longest dream I've ever seen).  The dream was wonderful and when I kinda woke up, I tried to fell asleep again and continue my dream. But when I fell asleep I found myself in another dream. The desire to get to the other dream was still inside me, and I wanted to go to the other dream. Than I realized that I'm in a dream and I can go to the dream I want when I got the enough consciousness. I remember myself shouting like "I!" then the fire explotions when I punched the ground. Then I though that it was over I got out of my bed and walked to my pc to tell my dream to a friend of mine. I did there were lots of msn messages. I thought one of them was from the girl I saw in my dream (so that was why it was wonderful, I really felt loved and loved that girl in my dream, it was extremely realistic and even when I woke up it took 20seconds to realize that it was a dream and that girl does not exist). Anyway I told about my dream to my friend, the msn windows were different as usual. When I finished telling my dream, when I attempted to open the window of the girl, I woke up. So that was it are they LDs? or am I still couldn't do it, at least the first state..

Haha, that sounds like a good idea Selski, I'm gonna try it next time :-)
