Ap Friends,

Finally, I got down to business and decided to share my journals on-line. You will find my journals from 1987 to present. Word doc, html and mp3 format for reading and listening. Feel free to let me know if this has helped you along with your path.  Also, please read the Welcome message when you first login. Eventually, I will digitize my video projection experience - so look out for that in the future.

Use your IE or FTP client to access my ftp site.

I download all your journals so I can view them at a later date!

Wow, all  I can say I feel totally undisciplined!!

It's clear to me now that discipline and motivation are the keys
to regular OBE success.

Anyone has got such comprehensive journals, and got any tips
to increase discipline I would be grateful to know.

David Warner

ya think..:)

i appreciate sharing the journals - thats what they are there for. i still feel lazy for the years that i blew it off. i felt slaved to the pen - hence audio narrations...

Ap Friends,

I've done some updating the site with new material,a voice welcome message, and including my spreadsheet daily tracking of food intake, validations, 3 oobe types (false awakening, lucid dream to oobe, and conscious oobe).

The ftp site is available 24/7 365 days a year. Check back every week or so for new journal narrations. Also, I am planning on adding my Astral Projection Video recording soon.

Enjoy and Thank You,

Tvos

ahh a VideoCast?  well can't wait now!

David Warner

not a video cast, but video recording of a experience i had out of body while the video camera captured my physical sleeping..

that would be kinda of cool though - have a sleep camera so people can look and watch me sleep..

David Warner

Paint1,

I was able to get tonight w/no problems. Its possible that it could be server maintenance.

Try again and if you still have the same problem - let me know. I'll check with the web hosting company.

paint1, you are using firefox. Try IE.
"What are you doing here, Nasrudin? his neighbor asks. "I'm looking for a key which I lost
in the wood?" Nasrudin replies. "Why don't you look for it in the wood?" says the neighbor,
wondering at Nasrudin's folly. "Because there is much more light here"

only seems to work in Explorer or FTP programs, no Firefox or other browsers I had the same problem.

Search for "FileZilla" and used that FTP client.

Hi Tvos, when I try to enter your web site (ftp://invisiblelight.us) I get this error message:

"530 Login incorrect."

qbeac.

qbeac

Hi Tvos, hmmmm, I think I found the problem: first I used Mozilla Firefox and it gave the error message, but then I tried IExplorer and it worked. I have been reading some of your diaries.

Thank you very much for sharing them. qbeac.

David Warner

BillionNamesofGod,

Thank You for sharing that info with the thread. Guess people will have to use IE or their ftp program of choice like ws, etc..

Eagle of Light

Hello Voice of silence

Thanks for sharing your experiences!

I particularly enjoyed the spoken records. I hope you're going to continue this way with your future OBEs.

Also, I remember you suggested one day to set up an out-of-body experience with an animal (your cat? dog?), capturing the reaction as you move your consciousness close to him.
An already experimented person I met at TMI told me that her cat definitely feels her presence every time she projects. Would be very interesting indeed to watch this.

Yours,
Eagle of Light
The act of resisting a thing is the act of granting it life. The more you resist, the more you make it real - whatever it is you are resisting.

Eagle of Light,

I appreciate you refreshing my memory on this and the nice comments about the journals (glad people are enjoying them). Right now, I'm caught up int he world of validation/the bible and the interview I have planned this weekend with the priest. See topic

http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=21104&postdays=0&postorder=asc&&start=0

Last Friday I was able to video record myself sleeping and had a dream to a lucid projection. I am having problems coverting the mpeg4 to .wmv which I made the mistake. Also, the video recording needs to be stationed a little better..

Hey Tvos.

I suggest you get the program "Audio Record Wizard" from www.download.com With this program you can easily create mp3 files, which are very versatile.

Search: Audio Record Wizard

(long links making entire page too wide so removed them)

Make sure you get the right one. Let me know if you'd like more assistance on it.
Thanks...

David Warner

Ikjewr,

I appreciate the info on the applications for mp3 recording. I will look into them and see what gives. As of right now, I've been using my pocket pc for the narration and then I bring the .wav into ACID PRO and then last stop is SoundForce (Latest Ver).

Any interesting journals you guys/gals have come across?

Hey man.

I'm on Jan '88 now. It seems that most of them are dreams. I'm not trying to put you down. It's just that, well, mine seem to be too. I have thoughts of, what if they are all just hallucinations going through my mind. Like..

What's up with all these communications with supposedly physical people, and opening doors- which I've run across before, but still the explanation of the nonphysical door.. I don't know.

Why are so few, or no one, having experiences like Robert Monroe, where he made concrete observations, was perceived by people at remove locations in conjunction with his accurate observations, and such; or Robert Bruce where for instance he saw his nephew flying through the room while he was sitting in trance? Muldoon saw his future wife first through AP.

I had two recent experiences that I thought were experiences, but upon conference with others are apparently dreams/theta experiences, and I can see now how they were.

I guess (hope?) I just need to practice more, and continue on.

Thoughts? Comments? Tips? Clarifications? Any and all welcome..

And P.S.

I have no experience with the recording device you are using. I can say though that the ARW is seamless to use, crystal clear, record from basically any medium, and.. it's just damn good. The price is well worth it. It's ONE STEP recording. You get a trail version where you can record up to 3 minutes worth of stuff at a time to test. If you buy you get a key to unlock unlimited recording.
Thanks...

Stookie

Every ones experiences are normally drastically different. At first I was confused because my experiences didn't match anyone else's. But now I see that's one of the greatest things about AP - the surprises in the experience; it never being what is expected. It's a wonderful personal experience.

TVOS-

I've been trying like mad to get to your site, but this work computer just won't handle it.  My home DSL should, though.  I'm doing some hiking next weekend and am going to put some of your audio recordings on my MP3 player to listen to. Looking forward to it.

Thank you for your reply sir.

If I am getting you right, you're saying the experience can be different for everyone?

Please keep in mind I'm just trying to learn and understand and progress..

If that is the case, how can there be a scientific understanding of OBE? Like, what if every different television set, or radio device, when turned to a particular channel, plays differently for each person. That would be a baseless foundation for these technologies. Is OBE, OBE? I mean, wouldn't the state BE the state? How can for instance TMI, or various authors like Robert Bruce, ect, even make general techniques or ways of getting out, or make general theories or observations on OBE to give to the general public as the way the experience works, if it changes for each person?

Please, you Stookie as well as anyone else with anything to add respond.
Thanks...

Stookie

I bet that if you were to actually experience most of the things that Monroe wrote about, it would be totally different than what is expected. He put them in words so the rest of us who haven't experienced it can understand. Bruce Moen said it took him quite a while to understand his experiences because they weren't the same as what Monroe wrote about.

With practice, I'm sure a person can have all the experiences that are written about. I believe I read that TVOS is trying some tandom experiences with a friend.

I guess what I was trying to say is, in my experience, it's never once been like what I read about or pictured in my mind. I'm always mind-blown. In most of the experiences I've read on this site, people seem either surprised or confused about what they experienced.

I appologize if I'm complicating things.

I understand what you mean. Once I'd finally experienced whatever it was I was reading about before, and I got the impression that the experience was different from the words (or perhaps different from how I interpreted the words :exclamation: ), though it may be expressed in words as best as possible.:exclamation:

That's great. I hope he shares how it works out. Thank you for helping to clarify things for me so I can be more firm in my practices.

To the contrary brother. You are helping to clarify things for me very well. I'm able to wrap my mind arond this thing moreso, and things are clearer. Thank you!

I'll keep you posted on my progress.

P.S.
Oh! Do you have a place where I can find this quote by Robert?
Thanks...

lkjewr,

No offense taken... some of the earlier experiences can cross the line into dream lucidity and that's ok. After awhile you do pick-up on the subtle differences between the lucid dreaming and conscious projecting. Let it be feelings, emotions, fluid, seeing your aura in full bloom. reading patterns and letters/numbers and importantly validation.

Read up on the validation card experiment:
http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=18497

When I project, its always from the conscious state and hardly from the dream. This is going immediately to bed and moving into the trance state within five minutes. I could be wrong on this but I believe REM sleep occurs much later (after a hour or two) - not within 5mins. This has been proved on my video projection validation:
