Strange recurring element

I have a strange element that keeps recurring in my lucid dreams lately.  I will be lucid walking about or in a really strange situation and suddenly I lose about 50% of my lucidity and I start walking on my hands and my body arches my legs over my back so my feet can almost touch the ground.  My butt is basically resting on my back and I go around walking like this.  It is a strange strange strange sensation and not really pleasant even to remember.  

:scared2: It just occurred to me while typing this that a long time ago I had a dream involving contortionistic shadowpeople-esque creatures who walked the same way.  Now I am really confused.... lets see if I can find the drawing I did.  Maybe it has a date.

Heres a quick cap of the sketch I did... apparently I had the dreams (there where 2) on back to back nights 2/17/03 and 2/18/03... WTF>>??  :scratchy:   These creatures where involved in my first lucid dreams (maybe my 4th at the time) that I ever recorded and they bothered me enough to sketch them out.  They would walk out of blackness (standing on their legs) and spring up and over and walk quickly away on their hands.  They where all black with golden eyes.  Anyone ever see anything like this?  Is it just something I made up and why do I walk like them sometimes?  Creeeeepy.

Weird! But cool. I like it. Yeah, creepy, but lots of elements in dreams are eerie. Why would you walk like them? Maybe you used to be one? Or is it symbolic of something? How lucid are you if you spontaneously start walking like that? Maybe it's a cue to raise awareness?

I can't answer it, I've never seen anything like it ...

Yeah its really seems kind of coincidental maybe but I haveny heard of anyone else ever walking like that while projecting/LD'ing and I had basically forgotten about the handwalkers I saw and didnt think to connect the 2 until I was typing the post....  I guess I will just have to get down to the bottom of it myself.  :grumble:
