Hi guys. The other day I was bored and decided to look up Astral Projection music to download. I got many files and I picked the top couple ones. There where 3 Trance songs, and one Hemysync song. I started listening to them the see what there where like, and the Trance songs felt more energetic, while the Hemysync one felt more relaxing. What one do you guys prefer? Relaxing or Energetic?

MisterJingo

What do you mean by trance songs, songs to induce trance or trance music?
If they were songs to induce trance you can guarentee they contained binaural beats (which is what hemi-sync is). If they didn't, then hemi-sync would perhaps be more effective due to it's method of actually driving brainwaves to produce a different state of consiousness.

Astral Projection

U downloaded Astral Projection trance project? Well I recommend u songs when they were SFX (SFX - Butterfly Trip, SFX - Celesial Groove) i really got into trance listening to these songs :)

It is a proven fact that music effects your body. It is also a bit of a studied fact that music effects water. Since we are mostly water, one way or another you're probably effected on a physical level.

Considering your goal is to forget the outside world, you'll want to make your body peaceful. 9 out of 10 yoga instructors prefer quiet, relaxing music. Follow suit to what your goal is.

Oh, and the tenth yoga instructor fell asleep before we could poll her.
As it as written, now and forever shall be. In the name of the Stevo, amen.

i 'd say, dynamic/energetic music is (only?!) appropriate to reach the 'extatic trance' aka the shamanic state of consciousness.

my experience is, that i EXIT not while but after listening to binaurals (heimi-sync,better bwgen).

for extatic trance, it's the opposit: if i don't get out _while_ listening to drums or extatic music, i don't get our at all.

i have never even tried to exit while listening to something extatic, because that seem rediculous and imposible _to me_.

i need to relax completly to EXIT (obe), but not for dynamic trance (dancing, sensing transpersonal energy) and not for extatic trance (shamanic state: seeing the transpersonal world which is verry 'out of body' like, but still verry diffrent from EXIT)

(my guess is, you use the solar plexus chakra to 'EXIT' and travel inside an extendet (etheric?) energy body, but you use the head chakra to achieve extatic trance/shamanic soul journey (which is associated to an outer/higher level of energy/aura body than the solar plexus body) -  that would explain why you don't need to be relaxed to do a soul journey, but to make an 'etheric body journey')

Which is more recommended would you say, BWGEN or HEMI-SYNC????

Please note that I do not rely solely on these soundtracks to EXIT my body, but rather to get me to that relaxed trance mode, as well as sleep paralysis.

Thanx,

BWGEN is a pure binaural beat generator, hemi-sync is a series of guided exercises using combinations of frequencies gained from research experiments. It uses creative visualisation tools and triggers to help users recreate the learnt states quickly when not using the cd's. They're both very different things.

Edit: I'd recommend the Hemi-Sync, but its expensive and requires a lot of comitment to get results. It's not a 1 shot OBE kind of thing.

I would recommend Hemi-sync also. It's what got me to the state where I could raise my leg yet it wasn't my leg if you know what I mean, it may be expensive but just think of all the internet time it takes to download bwgen, register it, download some user-sent in presets, filter through the one's that are ineffective and just annoying, and then not get much results. Hemi-sync was definately worth the money I spent on it, it helps with what it was meant to help with as long as you stay in the correct mindset and eliminate all doubt from your psyche, if you do that then projection will become easier and accomplishable without any expensive equipment! So work on your mindset before trying to rely on expensive equipment! ^_^
