ive been practicing tai chi for a few months now and shortly after practicing consistently i started to have psychic experiences.  this runs in my family but ive never had anything until i started tai chi.  my sister, who has many abilities, said that whenever any energy work is done they are more likely to have such experiences.  I was wondering if anyone had this experience with tai chi or chi kung or anything similar. thanks

yeah but only when its done properly and you stick to the principles, its amazing and you feel like air is blowing through you, but if your casually doing it without being mindful of your innards then you wont really be working on the alignments and blockages.
ive been doing it a few years and have definatly become more boyant and dynamic internally because of it and thats from the increase of internal awarness which is basically the same thing as recognising energy.

from my experience the most significant factor of how much energy you develop is down to how striaght you manage to keep your spine,  if theres no definate 100% vertical line from your coxxys to your crown then no matter what other principles you stick by, youll be missing out on the *main* supply of energy,
and vice versa, your spine can be straight and youll get the "inner airy" feel, even if your elbows, knees, writsts etc... are not where theyre meant to be...
its best to work at keeping the spine straight if you really want to feel it working, i do it by dropping my pelvis and pushing my head up with my neck.
its good to complement it too with moving about randomly and simply following the momentum of wherever you go.
split your awareness between your heart and head.

thanks greenrat...the last time i practiced i was sick with a cold and was very focused in attempting to help me get over the cold.  the point is i was practicing with the most mindfullness ever and i got the sensation of wind blowing past me but i was in a closed room...i didnt think much of it until u said it in ur post...
