High pitched sound waves in ears - induced OBE?

Hi, Wasn't sure where to post this, but i guess it has some connection here.

Does anyone else get this high pitched sound wave slowly creep into their head as they sometimes try to get to sleep or mostly when you focus on any energy body feat or projection.

It starts off slow and gets louder, you can stop it (it restarts at a lower less voluminous pitch) by moving physically or making sound.

I can usually induce these sound waves if i try, If i let it persist it gets louder and more high pitched until it is deep in my brain and ''hurts'' its that high pitched. It is hard to get rid of once it passes a certain volume or pitch and is hard to sleep for a while.

Once loud and high pitched enough and gets into my brain (that's how it feels ) it pulses, ever pulse it creates some kind of energy surge and i really thin it might have some link to obe, it seems to create the swaying feelin g that can put you in trance very fast it is so effective and tactile. It's like some kind of natural hemi-sync.

I wonder if i should use this phenomenon and do some experiments?

That's the tonal you are hearing, its actually coming in from another dimension. In-fact it isn't even a sound, its just the way your brain interprets it. It can get really Loud if you pay attention it it. work with it, make attempts to control its volume and pitch. Eventually you'll begin to pick up on more than one tone at a time. This is an excellent method of exercising your higher faculties of consciousness.

Wow, Well i have quite alot of control of it, i can even induce it at times.  Where did you learn about this? Have you any other information on this. If not a sound what is it, and what would be the significance of differnt tones etc?

It comes in like waves, it drones in and out, pretty fast. And yep if i pay attention and let it manifest it gest VERY loud.

i've once experienced a high pitched sound originating inside my head, right before falling asleep, as well. the sound kind of shocked me back into full waking consciousness and it sounded like "a 'ribbit' from a small frog." It lasted only as long as you can say ribbit.

Strangely, it came from my left ear which was against the pillow, and my right ear didn't hear it as loudly, if at all, even though i have great hearing in both ears.  

I was "attempting to induce" an obe that night....but i didn't x one that night.

i would like to know what people think that is...does it have significance in becoming oob?

I also experience this high pitched ring inside my head.  In fact I usually hear/sense? is throughout the day on several occasions and every night I lay down for bed.  Whether I be to sleep, lucid dream or attempt some type of projection.

I'm not quite sure what this ring is actually, it is controllable as you know yourself.  One night, try to concentrate on that ring, very slowly increase the pitch of the ring.  Don't go to fast, when I mean slow, I mean really slow over a period of about 30 minutes.

See where that gets you, I've had some very unusual experiences playing around with the ring that way, a bit to unusual for words to describe.

I have experienced the sound many times too. Couple of times I've managed to get into a state of sleeping paralysis by just concentrating on the sound and making it louder.
I haven't had much success lately on inducing this sound, and have always wondered what the heck it is.

I have never actually induced an OBE, but have had one by "accident". I was just lying on my back and suddenly felt extremely light and started shifting out and then up towards the ceiling. There is more to it, but I don't feel like going there now. Those who know - well - they know, and those don't, will know. Good luck on your efforts!

I've had something a bit similar happen. I'll be going off to sleep, trying to maintain awareness for as long as possible and suddenly I'll have a loud high pitched screech in my ears. It sounds very much like feed-back, as when you put a microphone too close to a set of speakers. After about 5 seconds it stops abruptly, the barrier gives way and I'm rewarded with full on visuals...Very spectacular

I get it too, but they don't help me, I usually focus on my third eye chakra in my forehead instead.
