The Obe I had yesterday (April 22, 2009 6:22pm)

Laying in the bed, started to feel the vibrations so I focused on making them stronger. Started to feel
the increase in the vibrations and started to see slowly through my eye lids. Before I knew it I was flying over
constructed water falls in some massive glass room. Everything was so beautiful and the reflections off the surface
of the water and glass walls were coloured like a rainbow. I started to clap my hands to focus myself (which is something
routinely do because it seems to help). I started to feel a shift and before I knew it I was standing in an airport/
or large bus station. I felt so extremely solid (unlike dreams or lucid dreams) that I almost believed for a moment
I was not projecting any longer but physically walking around. Commonly if Im out and black out for a moment or shift
elsewhere for whatever reason something happens to make everything seem so solid and physical, to the point where
I believe I must be physically active. I retained full consciousness so I walked up to a counter and placed my hand
on it. It felt completely solid. I concentrated on my hand sinking into the counter (to test to see if I was physical or not)
and after a second it did. I concluded I was obviously still out of the body. There were a lot of people walking around, I tried to get peoples attention to see if they could see me, and they couldnt.

  I looked around for a moment or two. I realized I had to try something as to not waste the chance/experience. So I said to myself aloud (another thing I routinely do because it's not like anyone else will notice heh) "I want to go to the white house" so I reinforced that aloud to see if that would make me shift/teleport there. An older gentleman with glasses, and grey hair sort of sloped over to one end like a come-over but he was not bolding came walking up to me. He asked me why I would want to go
to the white house. I said "you can see me?" He acknowledged that he could.
he also mentioned that they would be doing something there right now or that whatever they were doing would not be interesting (one of the two) , as if he were trying to talk me out of it. I could not hear the last part of what he said so I asked him to repeat it. Instead he told me to take his hand and he would take me there. I took his hand felt a shift but snapped out of it because my wife was
yelling for me.

Notes: There is a lot I don't know about this gentleman though. From the experience I gather he was just there on his own before I came along, perhaps just watching people for whatever reason. I think the only reason he came up to me is he realized that I was unlike everyone else there (not physical like himself). I have no idea whether he knew I was still alive physically or not, I doubt he did know which is probably why he was questioning my desire to go to the white house. (Im sure if I were dead physically the last thing I would want to do is to go see the white house heh). From the amount of control he had, focus...etc I would say he has been non-physical for some time (meaning he's most likely not living in the physical any longer). This is the very first time ever that someone in one of my obe's had acknowledged my existence while out for obvious reasons. (pretty hard for people that are physical to see the non physical) Im excited about it because I do not go out of my way to find people who are able to see me...etc. because it would waste my time to do some other things I have been wanting to do. It's great I could just go about my business and someone who was out (permanently?) came up to me and talked to me.

Wow Interesting account.

I often wonder if someone would be able to visit places of worldy significance during an OBE. Maybe I'm bordering into fantasy here but would it be possible for the certain secure areas to have protection around them that stops ones Astral Body from entering the space. I'm definately of the opinion that the Government has researched this phenomenom, just like RV so who knows what they have come up with.

Does anyone on this board have direct experience with trying to enter a secured space?

Well I remember reading a book about remote viewing, I believe the book was titled just that "Remote Viewing". Anyway the author talked about some kind of coil or electrical device based off of tesla's work that would (so they thought) prevent remote viewers from being able to be near the places these were placed...etc. My thoughts on this though would be that a physical object could not interfere or prevent one that is non physical from doing anything, unless it works on some kind of non physical basis (but I would think it would be a longshot). I'll let you know though, It's been years and Im still working at the best way to get to places I want to go. Sometimes I get out and Im at home, sometimes I get out and Im in random places. Either way when I try to teleport by merely willing myself to go somewhere it rarely works. It can be frustrating. When I suceed going to a secure location, like the whitehouse for instance I'll be sure to post here on the forum.

Let me know when you make some progress. This is something that I would like to experiment with when I get out there, but right now I'm yet to have my first true OOBE. Doing some great energy work though and I'm really starting to believe it won't be long.

One of the theories I read about a long time ago (last time i was apart of this board actually) was that the best way to travel long distance around the Earth was to head for the Moon first. Once at the Moon you can look back at Earth and pinpoint the location you wish to go (I.e D.C). Like I said, having no experience of OOBE Im not sure how feasible this is but it certainly is a nice idea.

Robert Monroe once tried to visit the president at the time (in Journeys Out of the Body, I think) and was stopped by some kind of psychic bodyguard. It could be possible that that man you saw was performing the same job. You should be very careful though; these dudes clearly don't want anyone peeking in and taking a look, and you don't want to make them into enemies. Even if they are unable to hurt you in your etheric / astral forms (which I think they probably could do actually), they could still hurt you physically by going round to your house, kidnapping you and sending you to Guantanamo Bay and waterboarding you, you terrorist!

Was resting on my couch started to get the vibrations. I focused on getting them stronger. Once they started to reach their strongest point I start to hear the high pitched screech/squeals. I focused on moving forward and I was out inside my living room. I noticed my wife sitting on the chair still on her cell phone. I decided to take the

opportunity once again to try and go to the white house in dc. I said aloud I want to go to the white house, and nothing happened, was still in my living room. I focused on wanting to go to the whitehouse and concentrated on moving forward trying to find the mechanism that would trigger teleporting. All of a sudden I felt like I was moving forward very fast and it looked like I was moving through a while tunnel or whatever. Suddenly I could see a face of a young woman with shoulder length hair, not straight sort of curly on a headset. Someone guy walked by me real quick, both of them could not see me.

My sight was not perfect either it looked like I was just out of phase
with the physical world, like I was peering into it from just outside of it. Then I blacked out and found myself on my kitchen floor I stood up really disorientated and confused, I once again had the very real feeling I was solid. I knew I wasn't physical but thought I was for a moment. Within seconds I was back in my body, and feeling sort of frustrated. I will have to try again tomorrow when I have more time, perhaps when I return home from work early this morning.

From what Im "getting", I think he is a guide or a spiritual friend of some sort. He was trying to protect you from something at the White House, possibly those psychic bodyguards or something else.

   Fell asleep on my couch trying to get a quick nap in before I had to go to work. I lost consciousness for about 35 minutes or so. I became conscious with the vibrations. I forced them to get stronger and forced myself forward and out. I couldn't see things well, like everything was dim. It seemed I was half in the physical half out, however fully conscious as I usually am in my normal obe's. Sight seems to come and go for whatever reason. Sometimes when I get out I see everything crystal clear in the physical sometimes I do not. I decided once again to try to go to DC (the white house).

   Willing yourself to a place that you do not have an emotional connection too seems to be a feat unto itself, even going to a place you have an emotional connection to is hard also. Never-the-less determined I decided to try what one person suggested in this forum. I decided to fly high as I could in the air above earth and then try to pinpoint where to go from there. I flew around 80 -90 ft up and lost lift so to speak and came falling down back to the ground. I tried again I got up really high then tried to will myself from there but I ended up back in my body. I will just have to keep trying and will still post what progress I get in here.
