It is true that these things are different every time. If you can start recording how you feel before, during, and after your exercises, the weather, the phases of the moon, the location where you are practicing, any unusually stressful or relaxing conditions, unusual dietary conditions such as missing a meal, interactions with other people, even the choices you make in selecting the color of your clothes, the amount of sleep and exercise you had recently... Anything likely to also be changing from day to day. If you keep track of some of these things you might find factors which make NEW easier for you and things which make NEW more difficult.

Hi,
I have also noticed differing results from day to day. My initial thoughts are that things such as time of day, weather, emotional state and state of relaxation would be fairly dominant factors, also where you practice and any changes in ambient conditions there.
For most kinds of meditation and self development it is usually recommended that you practice at the same time every day in a quiet, clean and undisturbed place - something I find very difficult!, but perhaps others would be able to investigate more scientifically.

Emotional state and your level of physical relaxation do play a big part. If you've something on your mind just before you start, chances are it will keep interrupting, and breaking your routine. Likewise if you're any physical ailment, this will also distract you. Sometimes you really do just have to be in the mood, and if your not...forget it, get up & try again another time.

I just can't get my feet to stop tingling.  I don't seem to have a problem with NEW working for me wherever I am...I would think it would have alot to do with location, and stress.....thats the biggest factors in my mind, cause things worked GREAT when i was snowboarding up in the mountains this weekend....it was awsome and a great help when I got tired!
