Is the Gateway program intrusive?

Hi Sasser!

I don't know much about the Gateway program although I have had a look into it in the past. I read somewhere a long time ago about Remote Viewing experiments from both the US Military and CIA (I think). They were very interested in it during the second world war / cold war from memory.

The paranoid conspirator in me would think that this is a distinct possibility, but surely some experiments on the program CD's could prove either yes or no.

The skeptic in me would think that this is balony, plain and simple.

I guess there is only one real way to know for sure! But...you never really know who is watching!

I have been using these CD-discs for 10 months now with good results. I feel appreciation for the work done by Robert Monroe and what it has meant to me using his supportive material. Thus I react both with astonishment and disapointment when somebody warns me. That is; the program embedding an identification mark within the mind of the user.

Some time ago I took a beginners course in coordinate remote viewing, also with good results. To me that is a fact now, this stuff is really working.

And sub liminal inplanting of coordinates - maybe - could be possible. We all know that sub liminal advertising was banned. At least in my country, simply because it works. Still I wonder if such an implant can be detected. And using the CD:s to inplant would presume that every single CD-album beeing sold got unique coordinates. Big planned and long term work.

But anyway:
Do you think this is true?
Do you think it is possible?
If so, how to erase such an inplanted number/coordinate?

My guess is that it is only balony...

What do I know?  Well I read a lot.  I don't think it's true what you've mentioned about the Gateway program.  It's been in existence since the 1970's and many thousands of participants have gone through it, with varying degrees of success.  If such nefarious behavior were going on, seems like the cat woul dhave been let out of the bag.  

Though I will say that I heard (heresay) from a woman highly skilled in the Wiccan arts, that "people who go to Monroe, and who participate in Silva 'change.'"  I took it to mean that they are more spiritually advanced, but she said something happens to their personality also.  Take from it what you will.  I love this site, by the way.  Woo.

I wonder what she meant. Would it be possible for you to check that out a little further? Is the personality change good, neutral or bad, I wonder. In what way do people change? I have definitely changed, but I am sure it is for the better... I do feel much better, more whole, present. Some changes are very subtle.

Just to put peoples' minds at rest....there is nothing subliminal or in the remotest way 'suggestive" contained in the Monroe tapes and Cds. I don't know where you got the idea from that ex-CIA people operate the Institute. Pardon my bluntness, but that is ridiculous. You may have got mixed up with the fact that at the  initial Gateway programme Joe Mc Moneagle talks to participants re his involvement with the STARGATE RV programme. Also, Skip Attwater runs the lab at the Monroe Institute and he was the initiator of the STARGATE programme. You could not meet two more gentle-hearted, spiritual guys ! I have been a member of the Monroe Intsitute for nearly 20 years and have attended five of their week0long courses. I have also been fortunate enough to have become friendly with some of the key people involved in this profit-free organisation which is based on being of service to the community and to help raise the consciousness and awareness of humankind. I have been using the Gateway program up to the 3:rd album and it has changed my life. Before that I had one spontaneous confirmed OBE. Another person -  beeing in the hypnagogic state some 10 miles away - could see me like a shaddow under her ceiling. The OBE took place in daytime while fully awake. Twenty minutes afterwards the other person called me and asked me what was going on! This event assured me that the possibilty to experince it again was just around the corner, and it was.

In my case the CD training kit has not directly induced OBE:s or astral trips - while - listening to them. Effects came during the night - after - the training session. I could wake up in the early morning being half outside my physical body or floating in our country house 70 miles away. Strange but very exiting experiences.

Today after some months of practise I can induce the vibrational state with an 80% hit rate, but so far only in the early morning hours 02.00-07.00 AM.
When going vibrational I most of the times is launched into astral realms. Why? It is said that going OBE takes a more condensed projected body that has more mass than the astral lighter body. I can't confirm that. I just keep experimenting.

So I do recommend the Gateway program. Thanks to people like Robert Monroe and Joseph McMoneagle. They seem to be men with big hearts.

reading your reply is putting my mind at rest. I don't question the people you mention but the financial rumours and the "implant statement" is of no good. So I really don't want to make this into a problem to the Institue but maybe they should seriously consider these kind of rumours - based on history? - as someting to confront in a frank and open way. What is the truth?  Tell us the story.

Again as I mentioned before, I am filled with appreciation to the TMI people working to elevate consciousness and people like Moneagle through his books sharing and educating the public about our inner powers. And of course the work of Robert Bruce.

Thanks for the info. I think I will give those tapes a try. I have been meditating for many years also and recently just had what appears to be a kundalini experience. For about a week (last week) I found it caused me to go into the vibrational phase every time I closed my eyes or focused inward at all. I was feeling pretty giddy and very loosely in my body with a lot of energy pouring through, even to the point of being painful. It was astonishing.  I backed off meditation for a few days and finally a good old car repair problem has grounded me once again. I'm just feeling a steady gentle trickling of electric like energy in the chakra areas. I'm feeling like it won't take too much to get that energy back. I'm pretty sure something like those tapes will work on me. I find that even reading Astral Dynamics I sometimes suddenly start to slip out or vibrate. Even still, I have yet to break that fear barrier and take it all the way to conscious exit. I think I've backed off for a few days to let the energy settle a bit and will get back to it very soon.

I don't mean to be "picky" here but feel i should correct the last statement that Joe Mc Moneagle's wife runs the Monroe Institute now. Joe's wife actually has nothing to do with the running of the Monroe Institute. She has a flourishing successful business of her own as an astrolger. Maybe you are getting mixed up with her step sister Laurie Monroe, who is on the board of directors who run the Institute.The Institute is not run by one person alone, but by a board of a dozen or so highly qualified professional people.Joe Mc Moneagle's wife Nancy ("Scooter")is the daughter of Nancy Monroe, who married Robert Monroe. (Robert Monroe was her stepfather.) (Laurie Monroe is the daughter of Robert Monroe). The whole question of "implants" (?) in the TMI CDs as mentioned in a previous post, is nonsense. As are the suggestions that ETs planted four large crystals around the Institute. Again, the poster could be getting mixed up with a guy who lives a couple of kilometres away from the Institute, in the hills, who has large crystals surrounding his house on his property. As a long time watcher of the paranormal circuit, I've found that the conspiracy community (!) at some time or other exposes the title of ex-CIA to just about everyone as the ultimate badge of evil. Next they will claim that anyone who has ever worked for the US Postal Service is actually putting secret nano sized cameras in citizens' junk mail. "What a world!" as the wicked witch said in the WIZARD OF OZ. (Note: I have found no credible evidence that she was ever in the CIA).

One of the things that TMI is really good at is helping participants look at their belief systems.
Beliefs can be very limiting.  If you believe in CIA conspiracies, one-world government etc., it is
highly probable that you will "pull" those kind of experiences to you -- and the validating
information to support those beliefs.  Powerful stuff, this reality creation.

I don't belive in any large scale conspiracies.  I worked for a small corporation for 15 years with
highly intelligent and motivated people, and watched again and again as things got blundered,
opportunities missed, important "secret" information leaked etc.  If that group if smart people
couldn't pull of simple business secrets, then I knew that larger more wide-spread conspiracies were
quite impossible.

I have no way to disprove the TMI secret coding on the tapes.  But I will attest to the honesty
and integrity of every single person I have met there in my last three programs.  And I believe
that it would be impossible for these people to participate in such a conspiracy.  So, that would
mean even they wouldn't know about it -- and they run the place.  Who's left?  

I find that conspiracy theories are advanced by people who feel an need to be validated.  It
is not enough to be who they are -- they need to know "secret" information (so you respect them
more) or they need to be "targeted" by the conspiracies (so that they are more important than
they really are).  It's all self-esteem issues.  

Let such people be.  It hurts their souls too much to be confronted by disbelief -- because it is
an attack on their self-created image of importance.  And don't we all want to be important?

TMI is a great place.  The experiences are wonderful.  They will be treasured for a lifetime.

Hi all, first time I heard that one, CIA tagging people I dont think
so.
Radioman, I had heard that after SRI packed up everyone went & started
their own schools/institutes & have been bitterly opposed to each
others abilities & training methods. I will have to go back & read the
story again but I was sure that Skip Atwater,Joe McMoneagle &
Ingo Swann were arguing that Ed Dames was a " Monitor " not a
remote viewer.Ed Dames hit back & it still goes on today.

To jo, great to hear from someone with so much experience with TMI,
have been involved with them for about 3 years now, but have not been,
maybe one day.You are only 1 of about 4 Aussies I know that have
been there & you have the most involvement I,ve seen from the Aussies,

Hi Mobius ! Without a doubt, Roert Monroe's three books Journeys Out of the Body, Far Journeys and Ultimate Journey are legendary. This is only a personal opinion and wouldn't necessarily be the opinion of others, but my very favourites are Journeys Out of the Body and Ultimate Journey. I'd also like to correct something....I haven't exactly been a member for twenty years...just "involved" with letters of communication...but I became a member as soon as I realised one could do so. Although it cost me a mint to attend the courses though...on account of flying out from Australia to the West Coast of the USA and then acroos country to Virginia, I have to say that it was the best money i have ever invested. There were terrific spin-offs apart from my own personal development and making new friends and I'd like to mention one of these. I was teaching meditation and "development" inside one of Australia's biggest maximum security prisons, Mulawa,  during my first visit to  the TMI. The inmates LOVED doing  consciousness expansion work.
   The "powers that be" at The Monroe Institute gave me, free of charge, the entire series of tapes about Setting the Heart free and another series of tapes to aid in the healing of the Immune System. On top of of this, they also donated various other random tapes.
   The inmates kept diaries as they progressed through these series of tapes and they are fascinating reading.The tapes liberated those incarcerated in a way I could never have done. If you want to purchase the most recent CDs and tapes, I'm not the one to contact as I'm not currently up-to date on what's available at this moment. Contact them direct at their website. The one I am thinking of (I read this on their site), well I do not think even came from the area. I could be wrong! Focus 15 - it was, um, about half a year ago when I read this, I think. I remember I was on the site checking out a short demo clip of their hemi-sync audio trickery stuff. But as you can see, the story no longer exists there.....I am pretty sure it was there.
I just typed "monroe institute quartz" in google and came up with:

Interesting story about the Earth Keeper Quartz crystal!

There is a multi-billionaire lady (absolutely loaded - something to do with McDonalds somewhere down the line - or supplies them at least), and who has loads of properties and land here in the Isle of Man.

She is, despite being in her 70's, a devoted New Age love and light type. She spends much of her time by all accounts, locked in her bedrooms channeling Angels, spirits, aliens and other entities (I don't know for sure what, if anything she accomplished). But as money was no object, she imported these absolutely huge quartz crystals from Namibia (I believe it was), and placed them all around her gardens and homes on all of her properties. An amazing lady, not sure what benefits accrued from the quartz crystals, but she certainly had great faith in them for channeling and other positive effects

Quartz is an interesting substance - after all - its vibrations/oscillations keeps quartz watches in good time!
