Last night I had a cool AP. I exited and found my way into a classroom of Astral Kung Fu. I was emmidiately put to the test against one of the new students like myself. I had a natural knack said the teacher.

Two opponents stand off and then the fighting begins. Astral Kung Fu is different than physical fighting. A lot more goes into it. It's more mental and feels like a chess game but with energy. And it happens at lightning speed. Each attack is defended against with its own counter move which involves drawing on all kinds of feelings and awareness. It's like two awarenesseses clashing... There is an attack and a counter move which happen bodily, mentally, and energetically. It's difficult to describe.

I was very humbled by the teacher, who I could tell was a master, and by my teammates. I haven't felt this way in a long time. I finally came across a group of people who I could respect. Their discipline was masterful and they understood mysteries to awareness that I have barely began to scratch the surface of.

It ended with me signing up permanently. I had gotten my first lessons in Astral Kung Fu! Most all the participants were of Asian decent which was interesting.

It's so cool how to know to defend yourself up there in the Astral. I can't believe there are schools we can go to for this education. It's inspiring isn't it?

That sounds like a really cool experience, I hear a lot about these classes/schools people go to
for various things in the astral and yeah, it is inspiring. The unimaginable insight you're new master
could give you whether he's part of you're subconscious or a 'separate entity' could be really useful
in day to day life.

Keep up you're training and maybe you'll get an invitation from the Astral UFC.
I hear Jesus and Ghandi are competing for the title this weekend.
Little do they know Tom Campbell is on his way up and he packs some serious energy and awareness. lol  :-)

Congratulations on your successful enrollment!  :-)

I find the NPR has many schools. But, they all have one thing in common. They are teaching us discipline and awareness.

In my first Astral School I was sitting in class, there were a number of humans and entities there. There was a blackboard and a teacher. But the most unique part of it was the giant rotating vortex behind the blackboard. We were being taught the dos and don'ts of the Astral, before we got to fully enter it. Even though we were already in it, hence the Astral School we were already in. I think this was to move into a deeper level or something.

My question has always been the dos and don't according to who. But that hasn't been answered yet. Whenever I ask that, I immediately find myself back in the 3D dark zone, kind of like a "time out" I guess!

Xanth would enjoy this. He is a practitioner of Martial Arts as well.

Aikido, a way of life.
You can learn this too in the astral. It really helps you and you tend not to forget the lessons too.
You will find that the physical side of these arts is rarely of use but the mental side is a definite benefit.
Hopefully you'll experience this.

I earned a green belt in Kung Fu back in college, but haven't practiced since. Never experienced it in the astral though, maybe because I haven't really thought about fighting there. I have had energy/thoughts fights but not physical like. Your experience is very interesting though. I think maybe by attending classes in the astral, we can enhance the same abilities here in the physical. I wonder if I go to an art class, if I will be able to paint when I wake up lol.

I was taken to a science class once, where humans and aliens were working together. I saw all kinds of formulas being drawn on a black board.

I have reservations about this topic... I always have.  Mostly because of what I know.
Violence in any form is NEVER the answer... violence in the non-physical is BEYOND meaningless.

Fighting is as useless in the non-physical as it is in the physical.
What exactly do you think you need to "fight" against in the non-physical?
What exactly do you feel you need to "defend" yourself from in the non-physical?

Fighting is about as negative an action as you can get.  If something is "attacking" you while you're projecting, you might want to ask yourself (and potentially the attacker as well) why the experience is happening in the first place, because I can guarantee that you have some kind of underlying issue that needs to be dealt with that is based around Fear.

People need to develop a first-reaction towards Love... if someone comes at you aggressively, returning that aggression with more aggression does NOT help the situation.  It actually only makes things worse as you're now tossing gas on a fire.  Learn to deal with things with a first-reaction of Love, and you'll find things working out better for you in the end every time... ESPECIALLY during your non-physical journeys.

Your post reminds me of this image:

Agree with Xanth. I had a friend who could AP easily due to some injuries that left him with long periods of sleep. He started with defending himself from creatures of some sort. Then it became so bad that he was afraid to Project, and afraid to sleep. It so controlled him that he ended up attempting suicide because he believed it was the only way to escape it. What changed is when he finally started just walking away and not getting into fights.

This is the "discipline" I speak of.

I have been in many NPR visits, due to Lucid Dreams, where I am meeting a childhood Bully again. This guy was a savage and used to beat people senseless. He took Martial Arts just to learn how to abuse people. The discipline part of the Arts passed him right over. He was known to hospitalize people and was a very jealous person. He was never charged because he put the threat of Death into people. He never fought me, but I was there to see his damage quite a bit.

In my Dreams I would be there to stand up to him, to protect other people he was abusing. Unfortunately in my physical life I wasn't as brave, I normally just witnessed his carnage.

At first it always ends in confrontations. This Dream scenario would be put on some kind of repeating cycle that I call "rescripting". Whereas I will live it over and over again until I finally do the right thing. At first while watching the Dream, I see I am fighting him over and over again, but once I become Lucid and take over the Dream, I can start to find out what it is I should really do. Which in turn always comes down to forgiveness.

But, when I first awaken and am watching the Dream, the urge or sense to fight is wayyyyy stronger than thinking about forgiveness. I'm sure this is because, it is basic fear I am fighting against and at the moment in that Dream it threatens my survival. First instinct, fight back.

But once the Conscious mind kicks into action, I can see it with a different more "thinking", instead of just instinct reacting point of view.

Interestingly my friend reached a similar place. I forget whether it was a dream or projection where he was always taken to the same place. Which immediately came under attack. It only stopped when he decided not to pick up a sword and to just not fight.

Good news! I've traveled to Kung-Fu school twice more. Last time I was asked to participate in the making of my Uthat. An Uthat, in astral kung fu, is like your best move. But only you know this move. It's like a holly chime your soul vibrates at, completely singular unique. Anyway, this move is something you have to figure out. Mine turned out to be a falcon which I could send away and perform tasks that I needed doing. The Head Master looked over my falcon and nodded his head in approval. He quickly darted his eyes away in a sign of respect.

There is so much to be done with Awareness. We can become masters of it by learning the disciplines we learn at these astral schools. Asstral Kung Fu to me was like an adcanced astral form of T'ai Chi. like honing the body - the astral body - so that you are in peak astral form. Physical exercise and every-day discipline on the physical plane is a good idea I guess. Soon I'll be in pure physical and astral form.

And just in case I have a bad experience with an other I can be sure to have the skills to protect myself. I don't care if they are real or unreal. It still needs to be dealt with. I respect myself too much to let anyone pick on me, especially in the astral. That's how we make progress anyway... by confronting our negative side.

Sounds like a very awesome idea to go to Astral kung fu school. I would be glad if you keep us updated what is happening and how you doing :)
I have over a long time period wonder how the time in the astral correspond to the physical time.

It is very awesome, just as SweP says.

Although, you're not learning what you think you're learning.

As I said above:
What exactly do you think you need to "fight" against in the non-physical?
What exactly do you feel you need to "defend" yourself from in the non-physical?

In my opinion in how we make progress is to move closer to becoming Love.

In your honest opinion... is fighting a good reflection of Love?

You're already pure in both.  They're not separate things.
They're the same thing viewed from different perspectives.  That already makes you pure in both.

You can definitely stand up for yourself.  I completely agree.  There's no need to ever be a doormat to someone.
However, that philosophy doesn't stand up too well in the non-physical.  As I said, how we make progress is to become closer to Love.

Anyway, just my opinion.  I think it's amazing what you're experiencing.  :)

I would really shy away from the idea that astral kung ku's purpose is to defend yourself in the astral world with fighting. Xanth has made excellent points. However, martial arts is not necessarily about attack or defense. There are other important lessons that are learned. Perhaps there is another purpose and it is up to you to discover what it means to you. Sounds awesome, by the way.

Raise your vibrational level = become Love

Fighting != Love

I used to practice Ninjutsu for 13 years and attained a quite high level of proficiency. There was a meditative practice that encompassed all the methods that are involved with most meditation. The aim of the exercise was to visualise and realise a fight in which one overcomes the opponent by whatever means but by using no emotion... basically 'void'. One learned the 4 main elements and action/reactions associated with them... earth, fire, wind and fire... Void was the none element and master of all... the aim of the game, so-to-speak

I was very good at void. I realised this when put into practice... unwittingly on my part but necessary to potentially save my silly friends from being seriously injured or stabbed outside grimy nightclubs and pubs around the North East. I once had a collection of weapons I took from people who tried to use them... never against me. Always against my friends.

I always did this with complete non-emotion. No adrenaline... no love... absolutely no fear and no hate... just pure "get the job done and over with". There was a massive degree of confidence involved. Not a cock sure confidence... the same confidence one would use to cut butter with a hot knife. No arrogance... just pure and simple 'method'. There was no remorse... no matter what I had to do to the person to avoid being hurt personally and whoever was being attacked. No love towards the person attacking... I suppose there was a certain degree of love and care towards the person being attacked. And this was maybe the answer. I don't know.

That's all in the past. I would probably crap my pants these days... or walk away before anything happened.

Just thought I would throw that in there.
