Tassob here, from the mid-west, USA. I am pushing 50 years old. I had first heard about the "astral" back in the early 80's. A coworker gave me a cassette or a book or something, i forget now, I gave it a half assed attempt and wrote it of as a load of crap.
Some resent life changing events have forced me to look inward once again and i have been on a journey over the last few years that has taken a pit stop on this site.
A few months back I downloaded Monroe's first e-book, I skipped thru most of it and read the section that described his method. I stopped at the part that talked about the "vibrations" and said to my self, ok lets give this a try.
I found my self "riding the wave" between falling asleep and pulling my self up a bit just enough to stay awake...then the vibrations came, they were very strong, full body, and seemed to come in waves. From that point there was no turning back, i knew i was going to have to keep exploring this science.

Lots more to tell, but a busy day is drawing me away.
This site is a great wealth of information and I look forward to sharing my journey with you all.

Hi and welcome to the Pulse.
You're in good hands here and I'm sure you'll find this an entertaining journey. Have a read of the stickies ( darker blue topics at the top of each section).
These will help.
There's far more where the eye can't see.
Close your eyes and open your mind.

Thanks Szaxx. I have been a lurker for quite awhile, and have read most of what grabbed my attention. I found that I resonate best with the stuff from Frank, and his K.I.S.S. attitude.
I dont really have a lot of questions, and have come to realize, that just like anything in life there are few short cuts...energy in=energy out. Its a matter of practice, practice, practice.

Hello and Welcome to the Astral Pulse!

I just turned 50 in December, but was drawn into this field after a unique occurrence in 2011.

I say drawn in, because I feel that when you are ready to learn this practice/skill/art, what ever you wish to call it, it will come!

What I find interesting is, it would seem, that we already know. The hat trick is to stop ignoring the fact that we do.
For example the vibration thing. Now that i have noticed it, I understand that it has been there all along, but for what ever reason my choice has been to ignore it.

Hello I'm new here to, but you've come to the right place! They make you feel at home and no question is a dumb question! If you enjoy reading Monroe try Thomas Campbell's my big toe trilogy it has done wonders for me! A moderator named Stillwater recommended it along with a few more, but so far Campbell's writings have been what I needed. Good luck with your journeys, your going to love them!
