First AP, need help understanding

All of the sudden my arm started floating up into the air! And I cried out "God what is happening I am terrified!" And I heard a scripture answer "Do not be afraid, I am the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End". And I was fighting to keep my arm down even though it was floating and I said "why are you pulling my arm up" and I heard a verse from Revelation 2 "come up here and I will show you the things which must soon take place". Well after a couple minutes of resisting the wind finally left and I woke up in a panic.

It's a pity you haven't got that story to tell. The astral wind was blowing strong that time. You never know, they may have shown you valuable future events, maybe not the lottery results, the experience would have had a similar effect on you as winning though.

I didn't miss mine, the conditions were different in '69. This life changer occured after 5 or so years of RTZ's and nightmares.
When you're ready you may get another call. Next one might be through a vortex or tunnel like structure. Don't hesitate, jump in.

Wow that's awesome. I'm glad to hear you didn't miss yours! You probably didn't have all the religious baggage holding you back like I did. I'm curious, what was this experience like?

At that time the 'religious expectations' had almost gone. We moved house two years previous and Sunday service was no more.

The experience was awesome. The doors to the astral proper opened and changed everything. It's posted somewhere on this site.

Hey Aaron, have you read Willia Buhlman' s books? There are some pretty cool techniques you may want to try. It took me three weeks after starting the visualization whole falling asleep technique and I had my first OBE.

posted this in another thread, but not response. Wanted to hear some thoughts:

Okay so last night I had a dream that I was trying to project! It felt like a more lucid dream in the sense that I knew I was dreaming and I was trying to project from the dream. I kept seeing the beginnings of a white tunnel forming overtop of the dream and then it would fade. However the dream didn't feel any more vivid than normal and it still felt like I was watching myself in a story rather than controlling it. Also before falling asleep I was phasing and I eventually saw an actual 3D picture of this horrendous looking spider crawling across my vision. It scared me so much I woke up briefly (spiders are my worst fear lol).

Does this mean I'm gaining more awareness for being able to control a projection?

Great. Just bought it on Kindle. I'm looking forward to reading his techniques!

I've also heard some people say that you increase your chances of having an OBE by reading books about them. So hopefully that's true lol.
