Hi AmongTheStarz, Welcome to The Pulse!

Nice progress! It always puts a smile on my face to see people achieving results. Great job! Your hard work and discipline are really paying off :-)

When I experience The Void, it's three-dimensional, and I navigate it with my astral body. It's also possible to feel your physical body sleeping in bed while in this state (it's definitely weird to feel two bodies at once!). But focus solely on the astral body, and the physical one will fade away. And hey, it's pretty funny when your sleeping mask or earplugs get stuck! Just remove them, but don't try to "open your eyes" because your physical eyes might open instead. Remember, we're seeing through different senses now.

You're doing well by repeating your intention throughout the day - aim for at least four times, if possible. It might take some time to sink in, but trust me, it's worth it. It used to take me up to 15 days, but with practice, it now only takes two or three. Find an intention that truly resonates with your heart's desire, and you'll achieve it more easily because of the love you have for it.
Just remember to be patient and do everything with love.

Beautiful, Cali! Greetings from Argentina. Your English is fantastic, but if you ever need any advice in Spanish, count me in.

Quote from: EscapeVelocity on September 02, 2024, 16:21:39In my experience yes, the Void can look different and I'm not sure why, maybe it has to do with personal energy or degree of awareness- I've seen it inky black, grainy, with pinpoint lights and without, soft dove gray one time (maybe that wasn't the Void)...I love the blissful tranquility...like a vacation beyond Time!
Imagining it in Frank's F2 is certainly a possibility, I suppose. Maybe the lesson there is simply the realization of that.
The Void is also recognized in Monroe terminology as Focus 15.

If you have managed to have the Void transport you somewhere, please start a separate thread and tell us one of your adventures, we would love to read about it!

Thank you, EV, for your tips, they're greatly appreciated :) It's reassuring to read about your experiences of it. And I agree that if it looks a bit odd, one can perhaps affirm/request to see the void.

I did such an affirmation once in my AP and the environment remained the same so, hopefully, the affirmation didn't fail. How can one know?   :-)

Yes, dear Monroe was how it all started for me. Then Bruce Moen, Robert Bruce, and Frank Kepple <3

Hi Tak <3

Thank you so much for your kind words and advice. This community has showed me time and time again so much support and love.

I am having more progress! It makes me so so thrilled! I recently started to set alarms to do reality checks + affirmations that "I am more than my physical body, and now I am consciously having an out of body experience". But I am afraid you are totally right! They are not my own affirmations, and I am going to journal and figure out some which resonate for me personally. It was a good start though!

As I continue my meditation practice, even when I take a break because of work or life, I feel like I get even stronger coming back to it.

I may have to take your offer on learning Spanish! :-) Your English is very good too!
I can offer to teach you some Russian! My family is from the Ukraine. Although we don't speak Ukrainian, I do speak Russian :-)

As your first lesson, "Spasibo!" Which means thank you <3

Hi Everyone! Thank you all so much for engaging with me. I cannot stress enough, the gratitude I have for all of you. It has been such a wonderful experience finding this forum. Every day I feel closer and closer to my authentic self, and I wanted to thank you all for helping me get closer to where I would like to be.

I will start by sharing my experience, and at the end I will write a few notes. These are for my growth, and so I remember things as they were, so I will be very honest here.

This morning, I woke up around 6am and I was still quite sleepy, so I decided to go back to sleep and I set the intention of Lucid Dreaming. I thought, "I will Lucid Dream". So I did! I woke up in my dream, it was a strange one I can't quite remember, but I didn't have to do any reality checks, I just realized it was a dream immediately, and stopped the dream. I sat on the floor in my dream and it looked like green and white large checkers. I started to touch the floor, as many have said you should touch whatever you can, engage your senses, etc. So I stop the dream, and my intention is to AP, so the dream stops and I start flying through blackness. It's not entirely black, kind of like swirls of light around me. This time I'm a little more prepared, as I realize I might be going somewhere. So here I'd like to note I had two obe's, and with this first one, it is really hard for me to describe the place and creatures I was seeing—so please bear with me lol!
I'm not sure how I arrive, but I arrive from the blackness into this place. It is green, with perhaps a little town to my right which is very different from what I see on my left. On my left are these creatures in almost like a carnival setting. They were very big, almost mascot like, but they were not in any costumes. It's very hard for me to remember exactly what they look like, even harder to describe them. Anyways, hopefully with time, and writing these down, I will better remember. So I came up to this creature, I am not sure what he said, but I think he was blowing up a balloon or something fun like. I touched his face, and was so giggly, I thanked them and moved on. I walked to the middle of the grass-field where you could see a moon, and I thought, hmm this is perfect to set some intentions! (One thing to note, that little town or something that I saw earlier, is no longer there anymore.) So I am in this grass field , and I say, "I would love to meet my guide". I repeat myself a few times, and nothing happens so I figure it isn't the time, and then I set the intention of going to the moon. I think, I would like to go to the moon. And nothing happens. So I think, I should be able to fly! So with my mind I try very hard to fly, I float up a little, but that was it. (As I am writing this, I am thinking, this may not even be a moon I was seeing) So with my attempt to fly/float, I end up back to my body. Although it is not over yet! I wake up next to my partner and I tell him, I had an AP! But this was just a false awakening, I feel my leg shaking (not vibrating), and then I wake up again, this time in the physical.

It's still pretty early, I am quite tired, I set the intention of lucid dreaming, so it works again! "I will Lucid Dream" is the affirmation I used. I stop my dream, and I end up back at the same place it feels like. I somehow knew it was the same place. This time, I didn't go through any blackness to get there. I just got there immediately after stopping the dream. I ended up walking down a path, and to my left I see these very large creatures, more human like, but not at all, and very big. I walk passed them and I meet these three girls. I start to chat with them because honestly I am in awe that everyone can see me. I ask them where we are and they say the city name, and Quebec. I couldn't remember what they said was the city. I couldn't remember in the OBE. I kept asking them to repeat themselves, and I think I started to tell them about AP, and so they started running off. I followed them and got stuck in this area, almost behind a small building. I wasn't really supposed to be here it felt, and this man starts talking to me. He was friendly, and confirmed that I wasn't supposed to be back here but I won't get in any trouble. We start chatting and I ask again, where and when am I? He tells me the city again, but all I can recall or comprehend is Quebec! And he says 2030. He shows me his ID, I try to read the city, but I couldn't understand the card. I share that I am actually from 2024, and from California. After I started to share about myself and where I am from, and I am actually APing, I end up back to my body.

Notes:
- I find it easier to AP from and LD. Partly because I can just set an intention of LD, and go to sleep. I find it harder to get myself to fully relax when setting the intention to AP from a conscious state because I am too excited. I am still practicing though!
- It was difficult for me to fully remember everything after my experiences, which I was aware of when I was there. I set the intention in my OBE to remember this experience. I also had a hard time understanding remember when I was in the experience.
- During my first experience, I kept feeling my hair in my face.
- During the first experience, it was not so clear in the beginning, I thought, clarity now, and I think as time went on, it got a bit more clear. That being said, it still felt very..dream like? I hear others report their experiences as almost more real than the physical, so that is why I wanted to mention that piece.
- Also, in addition to my hair, I had this fear of talking with my mouth, like it would disturb my physical body. I think later it stopped, and I naturally started to speak. I think Tak said that if you try to hard to open your eyes/mouth you may actually do it with your physical. I think I did feel my physical body at some point.
- The second experience was easier to recall! Although I still had this difficulty with remembering the city name, or maybe I wasn't meant to.
- Another thing to note is I was not feeling well during the night, I have read that when you don't eat or have less carbs, you more easily project. I definitely didn't have anything in my tummy by the morning. Sorry for the TMI, but yeah, was not feeling well last night! But was able to have 2 back to back experiences.

So that's it! My first Astral Travel? I think so anyways. If you have any insight or thoughts, suggestions, etc. Please, I would love to hear it. I have very much enjoyed this community and engaging with all of you. It has been an absolute pleasure!

Nice work!
Phasing from two LDs, stopping your dream without destabilizing it, recognizing a False Awakening...whew! That was a busy morning!

Many things are occurring within these experiences- Each experience allows you to increase and stabilize your awareness within the higher frequencies, thus allowing you to move even higher/deeper; you are continuing to improve at controlling emotions like fear, confusion and excitement; you are increasing your cognitive function, again without disrupting or destabilizing the new environment; you are learning to navigate within the Non-Physical; you are learning the intricacies of expressing your Intention; you are learning to communicate with others...a lot going on here.

Something I mentioned to BarboraD earlier in this thread- When you find yourself in a completely new environment that you don't immediately recognize, it is often an environment created for you as a learning situation, there is a lesson waiting for you. If you express an Intention to go elsewhere or to fly, as you did, and nothing happens after several tries, this is often a very good indicator that you should stay put and try to discern what this environment expects of you and what there is to learn. In some cases, you can simply ask aloud something like 'What am I supposed to learn here?'...and a Voice may answer. With no answer, you are going to have figure it out for yourself. The fact that you returned to the Physical might be because you kind of 'timed out' on the lesson...or it might have been simply that you had learned a lot just in the multiple transitions and were returned to consolidate/remember your insights.

Communication is always sketchy at first, a lot to learn here. Try looking deep into their eyes for confirmation they are conscious and not just dream characters...

Again, nicely done!

EV!

Thank you again for your insight! I was just reading Taks journal and your responses and analyzations. They're very helpful. I think my first time goin in, I truly didn't give it a chance. Eager to do more I suppose. This is recurrent for me, as when I was in what I believe is the void from a few posts ago, I too was too eager to go somewhere. I must learn to be patient and observant. The second time I went in today, I stayed a little longer, but my excitement to speak to others and focus on what city I was in may have been the wrong focus.

Next time what I will do differently:
- Stop and observe more, try to focus
— Also maybe use my senses a little more, touch what is around me, try to jump, anything to increase my consciousness there
- Ask what is my lesson here, if I find myself having a hard time

Thank you again <3

Your excitement to communicate with others and ask what city you were in is perfectly understandable, that is why the opportunity of that interaction occurred, so your focus was fine in that moment. That was a small learning opportunity.
The feeling of getting misplaced or stuck behind the building may have been your intuition confirming you had somehow gone off-track with the current lesson, the man confirming your realization. That happens, small failures being frustratingly almost imperceptible at times.
Our eagerness to go places and do things is also understandable; no one is standing there saying slow down, be patient and just observe before you act...part of this may be our Guides' desire to observe our natural responses to initial situations in order to tailor future lessons more specifically to our inherent tendencies...just a thought. It does appear to be a really subtle form of teaching...hence the really small, baby steps I mentioned earlier in the thread.
I went through much of the same process about fifteen years ago.
It is learning a very fine and delicate balance early on of observing versus action. Difficult at first, but it gets better over time.
Do what you can to just keep adding experiences...it is a cumulative process.

More fun to come!

EV is right, all our spiritual experiences are a cumulative process. Sometimes connecting the dots and unraveling their true meaning can take from decades to mere minutes. This is why keeping a journal is so important.

Hey AmongTheStarz, congrats! What an amazing experience, I thoroughly enjoyed reading about it.

I love those zoomorphic beings and carnival vibes. I also see many festivals in my LDs, remind me of Indian ceremonies – singing and dancing in the streets with devotional ecstasy. It's nice to join them for a while!
Regarding animals, yes, many odd creations appear. I've even seen myself as a woman with eagle features, massive wings, and taloned feet. I think this is our mind's way of opening up to new ideas and interpretations beyond this conventional world.

You have a natural talent for this; look at all the fascinating things that happened in that short span of time! I believe you're on the right track and should continue doing what is working for you.

If I were to suggest anything, it'd be this:

- Initially, don't focus on controlling or trying to reach specific places. Just go with the flow, exploring with wonder and curiosity. As EV said, most experiences will be lessons or simulations created by non-physical instructors to help us navigate this new environment. Manipulating the scene might wake you up physically. So, let the experience unfold!
But, if you still want to manipulate the environment, first visualize the scene in your mind, like daydreaming. The desired scene might appear around the corner or behind a door. Sometimes what we're seeking is "hidden" and doesn't appear right in front of us.

–Completely forget about your physical body; don't even think about it, as it may stimulate something and wake you up (e.g. thinking about opening your eyes because it's dark). If you struggle to speak, try telepathic communication – simply transmit your thoughts to the being in front of you; it works!
If you have trouble seeing, ask for help or vividly imagine the desired environment (it may take several seconds to appear).

– Fully immerse yourself in the scene before you, interacting with objects and stimulating all senses (smell, touch, vision, etc.). This integrates you into the scenario and enhances awareness and experience quality (well-described in Xanth's book, which I recommend). You successfully did It!

– Since your awareness wasn't at 100%, it still felt 'dreamlike'. The more aware you are, the more 'real' the experience will be. Try counting from 1 to 10 or doing some multiplication to increase awareness (engaging the left brain hemisphere seems to stabilize it I think).

– Your Guides are always with you; not seeing or immediately responding doesn't mean they're far away. As you mentioned, maybe it's not the right moment. Their energy is intense, and it can be overwhelming, or they might not want to distract you during training. But they'll appear someday :-)

– Keeping a dream journal will help you recall experiences better, activating brain areas linked to interpretation and representation. Translating this energy into words and forms will be easier.

Sorry for my mistake earlier; I thought Cali referred to a city in Colombia, then realized it might be California! Oops, lol. I'm embarrassed! I'd love to learn Russian and other languages; I speak Portuguese, English, and Spanish for now.

I'm glad my journal is helpful. Before discovering the Pulse, I was stuck in the Void for over 10 years, unable to progress beyond lucid dreams or going beyond te Void. Thanks to this community's excellent advice and recommended books, I learned to navigate non-physical realms and understand them better.

Thanks! And please continue sharing your progress and any questions you have  :-)

As always thank you everyone for your encouraging words, and support during my journey :)

EV! Your brain is so marvelous haha, I didn't even think of that, how that was my little sign I have gone off course. I will definitely try to just be, and enjoy where I am. I think it's also a life lesson. For me, I am always trying to move forward or rarely pausing in the same place for too long, so practicing mindfulness is something new to me. It applies even more so to my new adventures it seems. With all of your feedback, I do feel so much more progress. Like I mentioned, when I was going through that void the first time, I didn't give any time! So I went back to my body. It seems my energy body is even more impatient and eager than I am in the physical haha!

Frosty Traveler, thank you! I definitely keep a dream journal, a spiritual journal, and then writing my experiences here has been very helpful with everyone's feedback!
I can't wait to have more cumulative experiences. For now, I am still day dreaming about my last ones!

Tak, I am so happy to have found this platform as well. I feel like a broken record, but I just am so grateful for everyone's warmth and support. No need to feel embarrassed, friend! I should adjust my signature a bit, being from California we tend to feel like we are our own country sometimes LOL Just kidding! :P I do wish to visit Colombia some day. Thank you for this feedback! I will try to count or do math to help ground myself. I am also curious about your experience with eating a leaf! I think I may try that too! I definitely am keeping a few journals and do my best to document most things. It has been very helpful. I am eager to meet my guides, I may include it in my new personalized, daily affirmations/intentions.

Thanks Everyone!

Awareness level: Dream Awareness

Good Morning Everyone, or at least it is morning where I am. I wanted to document this experience here because I feel I need some guidance interpreting some of it. I must disclaim as I continue my OBE journey, I'm also exploring my spiritual journey, meditation, my angels, guides, everything. That being said, yesterday I found two feathers on my path walking my dog. I typically don't walk on this path. It was a grey feather and a black feather. I read that this can mean I am protected, I have change coming, but it will be good afterwards, OR an opportunity to clear karmic debt. The night before I hear and see two owls! Really rare for my part of the world. I read that owls
are messages to trust our intuition and tap into the deep well of wisdom residing within.

Anywho so those are some things I have seen recently in the physical. Now onto my experience this morning. I attempted to wake up at 4am, and then do a few cycles as one projector calls it, to induce a lucid dream. As usual it was still hard for me to fall asleep after this. Im too awake after! (But if you ask me to just sleep and wake up at 6am for work I can barely roll out of bed LOL) I'm honestly like a kid that's excited to go to summer camp anytime I wake up in the middle of the night to practice. And I don't mean consciously excited, but my subconscious! She doesn't want to rest. So I start doing the counting method I read the other night. "1 I'm dreaming, 2 I'm dreaming..." all the way to 100 three times (with losing count many times). I finally am tired enough to go to sleep after an hour.

I wake up in a normal dream state, there is someone from my high school and I stop him to chat, ask what he is doing now with his life. He starts to tell me and I'm like okay cool! I get this disorientation in the dream and apologize for it, I let him know sometimes this happens. (Maybe referring to my migraines, idk) but this does happen in dreams sometimes, where I get disoriented, dizzy almost. Anyways, he asks me for a photo, and then leaves. I'm like a photo?? Of me? And then I'm on my phone trying to figure this out. I'm looking in the mirror and then my hair starts to come out in clumps! My partner comes in and tries to help me. I wake up.

I've never had a dream where my hair was falling out, but this was horrible. I go back to sleep. Another dream.

This dream, someone who I'm not currently speaking to is there, and I'm next to a bed I'm meant to sleep in and it's covered in bugs. I'm not fearful of a lot of things, but looks like my mind has found two things that are definitely disturbing to me! So I'm asking why there are bugs? And then there are more. I wake up in the physical.

I go back to sleep again, and note, each time I return to sleep I set an intention I will wake up, become lucid, gain awareness. I repeat it many times.

I go back and it's the same dream as before! What is this hell? The bed full of bugs, this person I don't want to talk to, who is testing me and talking poorly about some people I love, and now there are more bugs. I wake up screaming because I felt a giant bug with wings jump on my back. I mean I felt, heard, everything.

I am still processing. Another very busy morning for me.

Also a note: I find I have more success with lucid dreams between the hours of 7am-9am, after I've had a good amount of rest.

Thanks for listening, B.

Great experience! A lot involved here, mostly personal symbolism you will have to work out. Obviously the bugs in your bed strongly indicate something is bugging you and your sleep/NP activities. The flying bug attaching to your back, really strong like an exclamation point.

Hair falling out in clumps, generally and for me, is like teeth falling out or crumbling...it's a dream sign of feeling weakness or inability to deal with an issue...it may have a different or more personal meaning for you.

Can you provide a more detailed description of your two owls encounter? There may be something important there.

Hi EV!

Thank you again. I definitely have been thinking about these experiences a lot today as they have really caught me off guard. I admit today has been really difficult for me. I almost have a faint memory of a thought before bed last night during my meditation of what if I have a nightmare instead? Which turned into, if there is a lesson, then I'm okay with it.

About the owls, I heard the owl first during my walk, and I looked up, and saw it up on the pole near my apartment! Then I heard another hoo! And there was another owl on the next pole. They both flew away.

The next day I saw feathers on my walk.

Just little things like this make me feel like I'm getting a message of some sort?

Happy Holidays, everyone!

It has been a while. Sorry for my absence. Life had gotten ahead of me. I wanted to document my last few experiences and hear your opinions.

Today 12/27/2024 was my most recent OBE. Not much happened. I woke up earlier than my alarm and thought this is a perfect time to "attempt". So I made the intention of waking up in my dreams and astral projecting. What's been happening lately is I'll realize I'm in a dream super abruptly right at the very end and wake up in the physical! But I'm coming to realize I am not fully awake.

SO! I woke up this morning abruptly from realizing I was in a dream, and I was in the physical in that half awake state. I felt very much awake, but I thought, "why not try slipping out?" So I did. I slipped out, heavily and with some difficulty, and then I was on the floor. Kind of like, my entire body was contracted together. I crawled to my door, while propping myself up by the walls, and attempted to open the door. I couldn't see a thing. I kept thinking "vision" or something along those lines. The door knob was not a regular doorknob, and that was as far as I got. Back to my bed I went. Although this time, I think that I am awake, I try to project again and think it's too late. So I reach for something in my night-stand, and bah, then I actually wake up.  :-D Well that was still interesting...

I have been having more of these exits and difficulty controlling my "body". Another time, I floated to the ceiling, and then to the other side of the room. I got so annoyed with the lack of control, I just ended up in my body. XD I swear, I have the most impatient spirit.

Christmas Day 12/25/24

I wake up early, and decide to go back to bed. I set the intention of waking up in my dreams and AP.

& so it happens! My dreams, just to note, when I make this intention, are never the friendliest dreams.

Anyways, I realize I am having a dream, stop my dream, and am in my physical/half awake state. I attempt to slip out the first time and my arm gets stuck. I pushed too hard trying to project and my arm was in some strange position when I was in bed. Okay, I snap back to my body, but am able to slip out. This time I start pushing my self through my feet the way I have before, and I naturally flip over. Cool. Now, I am in a "click" or "void". Still not sure what this place is called, but it's just the darkness before I end up somewhere, and I think I saw a light purple swirl of some sort.

The darkness transitions to a place full of trees and sky. I'M FLYING. How fun is that?! What a beautiful gift. My vision, or this place is a little pixelated? I cannot feel the trees. But I did enjoy it so much. After a little bit of flying I think to myself, "Guides, whenever you feel is divinely right, I would love to meet you". Then I am back to my body  :-) I could probably slip out again, but I'm sleeping on my hands, and they have gotten numb LOL.

Happy Holidays again to all that celebrate! <3

12/08/2024

Note: On this day, I went to a woman who read my Akashik records, and completed a family constellation for me. It was incredibly healing. <3 I was exhausted when I came home and took a nap and then just a little later went back to sleep, and the OBE happened on maybe hour 4 of sleep.

This was probably my longest experience so far and some details I may not have correctly.
I woke up and thought I felt my partner moving and thought, "oh darn, that ruined my chances of projecting". Actually, I was able to sit right up and get out of bed. Everything felt very real and HEAVY. I dragged myself to my window, while propping myself up from the bed. I attempted to open the window to go through it, and a reality check, both failed. (I believe I pushed my thumb through my palm, and it didn't work) Gosh everything feels so real!

There's a little lapse in my memory at this point, because I do remember projecting at least 3x this day. I just can't remember the order. Anyways now I'm back in the void or click and I am falling downwards. During this I see an equation of some sort. "nb+c". Swirls and other things in the blackness.

Now since I remember the window method not working, at some point, I went to my living room. Except it's not quite my living room, and my balcony has two screen doors with a little room in between. Then passed the screen doors is a beautiful pink, smoggy, EMPTY, city. It felt eerie, so I hesitated I admit. I decided to go back to my bedroom (also it is easier to walk now, I think I have projected maybe 3x now.) and my partner is awake! He is awake and IDK what we chat about but we end up sitting and eating ice cream sandwiches. The ice cream sandwich--also strange, in an "I" shape, like the cookies are horizontal and the ice cream, vertical. LOL. We had a good time, and then I woke up in the physical. I woke him up too and am like babe! I just had an OBE, and you were there and we ate ice cream sandwiches XD He didn't remember anything but was definitely excited for me.

Thanks for listening <3

Oh! and in October, I had a little experience.

I was on vacation with my partner. We slept, I woke up and slipped out in the morning. I walked into the living room, and then I started to "OM". It felt like a continuous "OOOOMMMMM" Which was cool. Then I went back to my body.

A few questions I have are:
1. How do I make my experiences longer?
2. How do I make moving easier when I slip out, so I don't feel like a heavy glob :'D
3. How do I stay more present/mindful? I feel like my spirit is constantly so impatient, when the physical me is just happy to be in the NP!

Thanks for listening along <3 I missed you all!

Welcome back!

So, it seems your technique is working for you. Like they say, "if it ain't broken, don't fix it". I am somehat confused though. You say you get lucid in your dream, then you stop that "simulation", so that you can focus on leaving your body. While in your dream scenario, you are already in the non-physical realms. Explore there. There is always an adventure that awaits you.

Now to my answers to your questions. First off, you are doing great!
#1. Improve your awareness wherever it is that you are. Touch the ground or a table, wall, etc. Become part of your new surroundings, while keeping in the furthest recess of your thinking, that you are aware that this is a simulation.

#2  I have felt that glue like sensation and found the further I got away from my body, the less "pull" my physical body had on me. From some other Authors and practitioners of OBEs, in the act of "separation" from the physical body, they say that you need to be at least 15ft away from it. These days, my only actual OBEs have me being dragged out by my feet. Why? I have never found out.

#3  Go with the flow! Don't fight it. You will find a balance. Observe first, then react. Many of my dream simulations have me first watching the scene, as in 3rd person view and then when the situation become dire, or as I say, "when the sht hits the fan", I find myself tagged in and now I have to solve the problem or situation at hand from a 1st person view. My first lessons in the NPRs taught me to "passively observe, with an air of curiosity". You will learn a lot that way. Be patient.

Hi Amongthestarz- so nice to meet you. My name's Eric and I'm from Houston, TX. I read your last two post and I thought they were really cool. Sometimes when I'm OoB the environment is very heavy and staticky, I'll stumble about and walk around like a drunkard.

Other times I float down the stairs and phase through physical objects without hesitation.

So what's the difference between the two experiences? I'm not sure, I don't control my OBE's by will. If you figure it out please share here.  :-)

Lately I wonder what other elements are at play. Like, what did I consume the day before the OoB? Could our food or drink make a difference?

Maybe things were heavy because your mind really wanted to go to sleep with the rest of your body. You said your self you were exhausted from the Akashic workshop.

There is something to be said for the WBTB(wake back to bed) method. Most always, without trying, I'll enter the hypnagogic state from there.

I am very interested in the feelings around the Akashic workshop. What all did you learn from it?

Congratulations with all your success.  :-)

@Lumaza, thank you for the wonderful feedback. I ask myself the same thing, why not continue the LD? I read somewhere that if I were to stop my LD, I could immediately enter astral awareness. This has worked for me every time. Its also this impatience I have when I'm in the NP. Like my energy body is always onto the next best thing.

I try to get away from my physical body, I do. But man, it's sometimes impossible! Blind, heavy, with very little control of myself I move to a window or door but alas both locked in my last experiences LOL. Interesting.

You're right, I hope that I find that balance. To be honest I've come a long way. I'm grateful to have any experience at all. Now, to try and be patient / mindful with them!

@tides2dust thank you for your feedback as well! Its good to know I'm not the only drunk soul stumbling around LOL

The family constellation I went to was very powerful. It was with 11 other women. What I keep learning is that we are in fact one, and all have a soul path we are meant to follow. Unfortunately, this means we cannot fix or alter other people's soul paths. Even for their benefit. I learned from every woman there, and am very grateful for the experience.

Its nice to meet you as well, my name is Bianna and I'm in San Diego, California :)

I'm wondering if anyone has this issue with WBTB! Or any guidance. This morning, and others I set the intention of waking up earlier, at about 4:30am. Then I set the same intentions to OBE or have an LD. I go used the restroom when I wake up, but I have a hard time falling asleep. When I finally do, I'm awakened in an almost perfect state to project—but not quite. So this keeps happening over and over. I fall asleep, then wake up. Unable to project, but almost! LOL annoying because I'm not really getting sleep or achieving what I want out of this rest.

Thanks everyone!

Amongthestarz, Frostytraveler recently posted this video on the Astral Pulse. It was so good that I reposted it over on my Doorway thread. I have a very strong feeling that you will find it helpful. Check it out here.

I was just focusing my mind on your question and how I could help you and this is the message I received.

When I was first having conscious, initiated by me, OBEs, I used the climbing out of the body experience too. Somewhere along the line the need to actually climb out of body diminished and what they call "Phasing" started to occur. I still get OBEs, as in the sense of "exiting" the body, but those experiences are spontaneous and not initiated by me, directly that is.

There seems to be a progression that most people that are "chosen" to walk down this path will find. I say chosen because learning how to consciously project or shift, seems to be important in some way, shape or form. It changes a person. Becoming consciously aware doesn't just work in non-physical realms, it works here in the physical as well. I use the word chosen because it seems our "High Self, Guides or Other" seem to think that was are ready to "remember" what we once knew.

This progression seems to be to more of "Phasing" nature. This has to do with focusing into the darkness before your eyes and being aware of what you find there. The physical body has become an afterthought. No need to exit anything at all. You are already there, wherever there happens to be. This can be "anytime".

If you are interested, there was a former member of the Pulse, years ago named "Frank Kepple". He wrote this fantastic introduction to "Phasing".

Tak

Hi AmongTheStarz! Great to see you here again, and I can see you've made a lot of progress - congratulations! You're doing an excellent job, and have you realized that you're having experiences almost at will now? That's important. Everything else is just details that will fall into place on their own. You've already received excellent advice, so I'll just add what works for me...

1. If you want to make your experiences last longer, you can program your subconscious for that too. While you're doing the induction before projecting, you can set the intention "I'll have long, lucid dreams/OBEs, and I won't be able to wake up" - repeat it several times. This has been a game-changer for me. Now it's just a matter of not getting scared when you try to return to your body and can't do it for up to three times or more! (And you'll have many false awakenings) Don't despair, you'll always return eventually. That's what I did to extend my experiences, and it worked for me. But everyone's different, so you'll need to experiment and find what works for you.

2. I used to have that problem too - feeling like I was leaving my body, but everything felt heavy, like gravity had increased, and I had to drag myself across the floor. In my case, it just went away on its own. I think your energy body is adjusting to these experiences, and at some point, it might just stop happening. Or, as Lumaza says, try forgetting that you have a body and just focus on your consciousness and will - that might help.

3. I think the best way to practice patience is through practices here in the physical, like meditation or other mindfulness exercises.

Keep up the good work and keep sharing your progress with us.
Thanks!

Lumaza, Tides and Tak have provided excellent answers that help you build your personal picture of the Non-Physical Realities. I think your most immediate issue is one of re-setting or re-ordering the way you are thinking about the NPR...on an intellectual level, you may think about it one way, but when you are OOB you are expressing it in a very different way, and that is holding up your progress at the moment. That is okay, it is all part of the process...but I wanted to offer some hints.

My example is this comment from your last post in this thread- "I try to get away from my physical body, I do. But man, it's sometimes impossible! Blind, heavy, with very little control of myself I move to a window or door but alas both locked in my last experiences LOL. Interesting"

Two issues at work here- One may be that you are blind and heavy so that you are forced to realize something about a more immediate thing that you are misperceiving: the fact that you are thinking too much from the PR perspective and cannot understand how to move beyond a locked door or window. You are already Non-Physical so why not just pass through the door or window? Who cares if it's locked?! You don't have to unlock or open either the door or the window, just move through them. This is an example of PR thinking limitations carrying over into the NPR...and you will continue to get tested on this until you realize the difference and react accordingly. Subtle, huh?

The second issue is the blind and heavy and stumbling around like a drunk. If you refer back to my first response in this thread, I mentioned the idea of gradually evolving our consciousness/awareness from the etheric energy body to the astral, then the mental and so on. If that idea doesn't resonate with you, then think of it as the evolution and refinement of your "dreaming body" and in this context you are still learning how the dreaming body works- Sometimes you have difficulty with vision because you are not using physical eyes; you are not walking properly because it's not a matter of controlling leg muscles and tendons and joints; you are not touching objects because everything is Non-Physical...so, new senses have to be developed and new forms of sensory interpretation have to be learned...

Lumaza makes the great suggestion to work with your lucid dreams and I agree. And I will suggest this again- Consider the differences between your heavy, blind drunken OBEs with the nearly weightless and clear aspects of your dreams and lucid dreams...

Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.
