when i am trying to have a obe usually i cant keep my mind straight. cuz noises and stuff like that. how can i keep my mind straight?[

What exactly is the problem? Is it that you cannot clear your mind and thoughts keep popping into your head or is it that the place you are trying to project is too noisy, like with traffic, dogs barking, etc?

If you are having trouble keeping your mind clear I suggest practicing it throughout the day. Keep your mind on what you are doing and whenever it starts to wonder or a stray thought comes along just ignore the other thoughts and focus your attention back to what you are doing. Meditation will help too. Basicly you just have to practice.

If your enviroment is noisy then in a way this can be good. It will take longer and more work but you will just have to keep practicing. After awhile you will learn to tune out the noise. It will be difficult at first, but after awhile you will be able to meditate no matter how distracting your surroundings.

If you find yourself thinking other thoughts than what you want to think, just gently bring yourself back. It will become second-nature eventually.
