Wow! I have to admit that was cool and creepy at the same time..
I have had dreams of pulling worms and scorpions out of my hands, interesting that we both dream of pulling "things" out of our body?

   There was only 2 in there that were described.  Hands and insects.  But the descriptions don't really seem to ring any bells.

   One of the largest problems with dream analysis is how every thing inter-relates.  One aspect of a dream can have its meaning totally changed by another.  I have a feeling that the various "bug" dreams I have been having are trying to tell me some thing but I have yet to figure out what that is.

  SO until then I will continure to soldier on.

oh, well...I drew a picture a few years ago when I had that dream of those worms...I wanted to post it, but not sure how...lol.

I was fascinated to the last word with your post [].
I haven't dreamed  of bugs before so couldn't really reply.The first time I read your post the other day.
I have dreamed of lizards! but apart from just adding my support to you and your post I thought of the other bug or grub post ppl have made within the forums although they were mostly conscious AP encounters. I think it's a good thing they came out of you, instead of entering or moving under the skin ....starting to gross myself out lol. My interpretation or thoughts, "clean house" as in physically and spiritually something is annoying you?. A bit of spring cleaning is good for everyone regularly. Well thats just my opinion.

Although I have had others, the one before they were meal worms and they were under the skin.  I spent a long time in the dream forcibly removing them.

Yeah, I could feel them as I was pulling them out...oh, man..it was unpleasant.[xx(] The reason why I had one hand clinched in the drawing is because at one point that is exactly what I was doing in the dream...holding one hand closed to keep them from moving around and stuff...eeeeeks..making me feel all creepy crawly now..lol..

wow dreams like that seem really creepy.  well maybe right when u become lucid u could just tell yourself that bugs dont exist in your 'dream world' then you wont find bugs anywhere (it would stink though if then somethin bigger than a bug came out of a bump on ur body)  well id like to find out more about what it means even though i havent had a dream like that.  well im guessin the bugs have to represent something... maybe a fear or whatnot.  well cant say much more about this than that.  hope somethin i said made sense and helped

You know I have tried that....saying they weren't there and all.  But with the various experiences that I have had it has never worked.  Usually after my initial shock from what ever it is I am encountering at the time I instead seem to re-assure myself that I am dreaming and that I can deal with what ever the problem is.  Hence the idea of scooping up the bugs in the last dream.  Ofcourse I think that part of my problem at least is that I am never fully lucid.

I usually maintain enough awareness to question, control, and record my own actions.  But I have litle to no control over enviroment or people/objects in it.  Simply being aware that you are dreaming doesn't seem to be a good enough trigger for lucidity.

thats so true, there were several times i was aware i was dreaming but didnt take action to become lucid, but those dreams u become aware of are the ones ya remember the most.

This might not help but: One of my guides is a giant scarab beetle with a golden shell. He is wise, reckless, and a good companion. He was with me on many of my deeper adventures into the astral plane.

One of the cuts in my arm (Read "The Ascension" for more info on the cuts) vaguely resembles a scarab beetle as well. Im not sure if that has anything to do with my guide, or your dreams, but its the only thing I oculd thing of with bugs in it.

But I digress.  So now onto your regularly schedualed topic.


Okay, so the other day I had yet another dream involving bugs.  Now I know the standard, assumed meaning of bugs in your dreams is that you will soon come into money.  However that is not the case with me.  This I know.

I have, over the last couple of months, had 4 or 5 dreams, where I am semi-lucid, and dealing with bugs.  Big bugs, little bugs, fat mushy bugs, and the often ugly, hard shelled bugs.

This is really starting to annoy me.  The most recent case involved the last two mentioned types in the above paragraph.  I was I believe in my house, walking around.  At this point in time I was not lucid.  At some point in time I ran my fingures accross my left earlobe and discovered a small bump.  Oddly this is what triggered my partial lucidness.

I went to find a mirror.  Which I found in my room, but in "real" life there is no full length mirror in my room.  So I am standing in front of the mirror looking at this bump.  Admitatedly I am a picker.  A person who picks at the various bumps, pimples, wounds, ect.  So I did what it was in my nature to do and gave the bump a squeeze.  As I did this a protrusion formed that was roughly 8 or 10 inches long (20 to 26 cm).  I knew that this was not right.  So I reached up with my left hand and grabbed this thing that was hanging out of my head.  

I gave it a little tug.  When I did this I got and incredibly sharp pain in my brain and let go of the object.  It begain to move around and wiggle.  I tilted my head to that side and this thing just kinda slid out and landed on the floor.  It kinda looked like a grub, but it had a face, eyes, and a mouth with little teeth in it.  This really freaked me out.

However things were not over.  As I was watching this thing on the floor another creature fell out of the hole that was remaining from the first one.  This one was green, about the same length.  It also had two arms with pinchers on the ends, and was a hard shelled bug.  This one first landed on my shoulder and I kinda smacked it away.

I had a sudden idea at this point.  I thought about saving them.  So I looked around for a couple of countainers because I didn't want to put them both in the same one. (always seperate your prisoners)...  The idea behind doing this was so that I could look at them when I woke up, and then show them to other people.  I knew that I was asleep.  But it seemed perfectly logical that I could save these things in the containers and have them when I woke up.  Don't know why this seemed reasonable.

When I went to pick up the grub like creature I noticed that it was considerabley smaller then when it first fell out.  It seemed to be shrivaling and dying because it was no longer inside a "host".  This puzzled me but I went to pick it up anyway.  So I could at least save the body.  About half way through picking this thing up is when I awoke.

This recent dream is only one of several other similar type dreams.  I am starting to feel that some how I an infested with these things.  This as you can imagin is a troubling thought.
