I do not think that beyond the physical we have a sex. We can give ourselves a sex due to how we see ourself and our thoughts, but I really do not see how we could have a set sex once you are removed from the physical. I know there are many that may disagree with me but that is how I see it. We have both male and female energies within all of us (if that is how I should refer to it). Balancing these energies leads to a more balanced life. It does not mean that you become bisexual. I do not see sexual preference having anything to do with these energies. Your sex is a physical attribute and clinging to it can bind you closer to the physical, in my opinion.

Homosexuality is no more about lusting than heterosexuality. It is all about the individual person and how they act and view things. Sex is not wrong. Obsessing over the flesh is counterproductive though and can lead to problems. Of coarse obsessing over anything can. Sex can be a very spiritual and bonding experience. Anyone should be allowed to experience that bond with anyone else they so choose.

My spirit doesnt have a penis, vagina, uterus, breasts, or any gender specific parts that I know of.

I realise this is a very sensitive subject especially for the many politically correct americans, but is there not a lot more selfishness and lust (=bad karma?) in homosexual circles?

I dont think lust and selfishness is exclusive or even more predominant in homosexual circles.  In fact I'd say the opposite.  Unless of course you get all your samples from gay parades and the media.  Which face it how many gays to each of us know?   Where else could we find out about their extreme lust and selfishness.

You ask if you can become male and female.  If the soul is male or female.  So in your mind since you're male now and like women if you were a woman in the next life you'd still have to like women?  Is that why the homosexual thing came in?  I think there are many more possibilities than having incarnation after incarnation of liking the same sex you do now.

I think in some ways you're too locked into thinking whats real on the physical and trying to see how all those laws apply in the spirit world without thinking things could be completely different.  Its like using the animal kingdom (which btw people pick and chose which species they use to point to to prove "normalcy". ) In order to argue things on another plane.  Does it occur to you the rules here may not apply?

Its hard for me to grasp a lot of your points because they are so tied into "if this is the case here on earth then how could it possible be different there cus the laws stay the same".  Often it doesn't seem to me the link between the two exists.

If you were female your next life youd most likely be a heterosexual female.  I personally think our sexual preferences aren't as linked to our spirit as we'd like to think.

Ying and Yang my friend...

In my opinion a person can and does come back as either sex, otherwise you wouldnt get the whole human experience.

Males and females are NOT EQUAL. Originally, the only difference was that females could birth children and breastfeed them. However, the fact that they gave birth to children (and subsequently cared for them) meant that they were much more likely to be a "gatherer" in a "hunter gatherer" society. The male hunters therefore, became more strong and sinewy, while the females got more adapted to childcare. Which basically explains mans aggresssion, and females caring touch. So, we were created equal, but nature divided us. Just my two cents:)

First I do not think that makes us unequal, maybe different but not less equal. The gatherer was just as important as the hunter. Remove one part of that society and it would change, possible break down completely. They were equal just different.

I do not think that is so true any more. It is a broad generalization. I know some women who are pretty aggressive and men who are pretty caring and sensitive. I think in general all men and women are caring and aggressive, just from your example certain traits were forced to surface more in one sex. In our societies of today we have more choice to which we wish to exhibit.

I'll explain it as briefly as I can.  Higher Self's are androgynous.  This means physicals are unnaturally genderized, that might be reflected on the astral too (I havn't been there yet).  Like attracts Like, and homosexuality is an example of this.  Higher Selves are like this as well, as they are androgynous.  It is heterosexuality that is unnatural - based on DNA commands to breed, propagated by the idea that opposites attract, which of course is total bovine excrement.

I urge you to read Matrix V @ http://www.trufax.org/matrix5 because the kind of questions you are pondering are answered well there, and just about everything else as well [:)]

Yes I agree that we are just different and that this is not to be taken as better or worse, of course not. My point is this. It seems that it is plausible to assume that we are able to have sex in heaven and even give birth!!!! think about it,  having kids in the hereafter. That would mean a difference in gender. The notion that most Christians and others lean to is that we will all be sexless spirits and as in their mind sex is a sin we wont have it there. Instead we will just float around on a cloud doing nothing except an occational concert on harps. That sounds more like hell to me. Anyway a lot depends on wether we have sex in heaven( spirit) or not gender enjoyment kids learning leaving home new things exploring love life etc.

I will admit that at one time I had the same idea that you have. But now I no longer think that it is like that. I see it like the physical plane is like our larva stage where we are born. When we mature enough we move off into other stages of our development. You can have sex beyond the physical, but it is different than physical sex. It is more like an exchange of energy and emotions.

I believe there is gender beyond the physical.

Hi all.
We have chosen the sex we are in this life specifically for the experiences we needed to gain. In the astral our astral body usually conforms to the physical configuration we currently have.  As Souls, we can choose to appear as either sex, so it is a preference matter, as Souls do not have sex distinctions.

Heterosexuality is and has always been the mark of normalcy, for reproductive reasons.  Homosexuality on the other hand has come under the widening umbrella of normalcy for socio/political reasons, in doing so it has also allowed Souls to choose different experiences.  And it has been a part of all human societies for all of history, but has mainly been covered up for reasons of expediency.  I once read some interesting research back in the early 80's that showed homosexual tendencies were also related to the lack of a certain chemical in the brain during the first 24 hours of life.

All said and done, how one chooses to have sex and who with is only a matter of choice that may be dependant on stimuli that we are not sure of yet.  And we can safely say that as a Soul we are not gender driven/based.  So it seems that all manifestations of gender and sexual preferences are mainly choice related at many levels.

In ancient times, there was a division between males and females in spiritual training because of the way the two use energy.  It is recorded in what is left of Druidic texts that Males are energy radiators and Females are energy absorbers.  This was why the sisterhood performed their rites under the moon and the brotherhood did their's in the morning sun. Today it possibly explains many of the observed differences between the two sexes.

I think I know what the difference is in the physical!! However what about our spirit. It seems our spirits also are controlled by gender division. This is another reason I have a question with reincarnation. Are we reborn bouncing back and forth between the two? Also how about the entities in the spiritworld??. It seems to me that angels are also gender divided, it talks about in the Bible that "the sons of God looked on the women on earth and thought they were fair and came in unto them" and had kids that turned into Giants. It seems that according to RB those sex-sucker-torpedo-things I forget the name is also male and female. I do not think it is consistant with nature that we change our sex. In other words I see that nowhere. I realise that some obscure hermafrodite snail etc do but it is not the rule and seem to be for reasons of survival. My spirit is male and I cannot imagine (that actually means nothing but anyway) me becoming female in a next life!!It seems that there is a certain order in nature and any attempt to upset the balance throws things into confusion. It seems that the balance is very delicate. Homosexuality seems also to be somewhat abnormal in the animal kingdom allthough I heard about some monkeys where it does occur. I realise this is a very sensitive subject especially for the many politically correct americans, but is there not a lot more selfishness and lust (=bad karma?) in homosexual circles? I ask as I do not know. It seems to be against the natural way of things. Now remember this is only questions and not meant as slander. I have meet many very sweet homosexuals so it is not meant as a attempt to stigmatize a group of people, but rather a behaviour pattern, and if the things we do in this has a meaning and effect, and it seems to be the case no matter if one adheres to beliefs of one life or many, then we should also be able to question our own behaviour and admit if it is leading us in the wrong directions. I think there are a lot of emotions at play here and realise the subject is quite volatile.
