Calling God in a lucid dream

I guess it depends who you belive God to be. The word summon suggests your demanding the presence of someone.In my belief, a person cannot summon (demand) anything except that which you have control over.

A request is a better attitude, if you care to get anywhere with higher beings.

I suspect the power you experience is yours. It sounds like someone may be helping you too.

just wondering, but why would you wanna summon god? havent you heard of what jesus said? 'the wisest man fears god'  ?  or  'the first pars of knowledge is fearing god'  or something like that

Whenever I get lucid in a dream, I usually try to summon God. The dream goes something like this: I realize it's all a dream, then I put one hand in the air and I say something like "I call upon the power of God". I don't know why I do this. I'm guessing I'm summoning for power or something. One I felt a surge of power going throughout me (after I summoned). Has anyone had this experience? If so, do you know what it is?
