Question about the Hemi-Sync

Try Gateway series Wave 1. Its given me a few OBE's, but then again, I've listened to it hundreds of times. !

Also, look in "astral conciousness" section for Frank's long post on Wave 1 CD, and how he used it.

Never tried the other CDs.

ps - I would never advocate downloading it from Kazaa.... that would be unthinkable. []

I've ordered several Hemi-Sync cd's.I don't have any of the 'gateway' series yet ($),but I do have a few of their single cds.my favourite one for easily gettimg into trance is called 'transcendence'.depending on how loud you have it,it will either send you to sleep (low volume),or hold you at the 'borderline state',which is that period between waking and sleeping(high volume-just use track 2-no narration-on high volume,otherwise,when the narrator come back on,you get a very uncomforatable jolt).

I use this cd when I'm raising energy (I don't think this cd does that for you btw),as it helps to get to the borderline state for extended periods of time-as long as you want actually,just put it on 'repeat'[].

the longer you practice holding the borderline state w/the cd,the more you will be able to do it when you are falling asleep,thus getting you primed for astral projection/OBE.it also helps your conciousness to become used to being aware at deeper levels of conciousness,thus inducing lucid dreams,and spontaneous astral projection.

it does take a lot of practice though,it's not like you just put the cd in,and have tons of energy roaring through you as you fire yourself into space or another dimension,but is certainly does help in practicing[].

Just want to edit this....the CD itself doesn't really "give" you OBEs, instead it gives you a kind of framework for you to do it yourself. If you are expecting to just stick the cd on, then float away, its not gonna happen !

Hi,

Robert Monroe uses a "focus <number>" terminology to specify which aspect of reality your awareness is focused on.  For instance, focus 10 in his terminology is the "body asleep, mind awake" state of consciousness.  These are just labels he uses to describe different states of consciousness and the areas of the non-physical he believes are perceived more easily from within those states.  I believe focus 21 is called "other energy systems", but I do not understand exactly what he means by that to be honest.

Hemi-Sync is best described as beeing the wind, but it is you who has to set the sails and let you be guided by the wind.

Or better yet, imagine that you are walking through a big room and there are several fans that are blowing wind in a sertain direction.

You walk and you feel the wind and you walk where the wind is moving, and you walk some more distance and another fan is blowing in another direction and you follow that wind.
You can at any given moment stop or move in another way you want.

Hemi-Sync are guidance for your mind.
When you have done it for a couple of times you dont need it anymore, you know where to walk to get where you want.

I was considering ordering a Hemi-Sync CD the other day but realized I had no clue which one to buy.  (As you probably know, there are a myriad to choose from.)  You see, I want one that will help me with energy raising and OBEs, and I was wondering if any of you know which particular CD(s) would help me the most.  Thanks.
