BOATS

I experienced the astral wind once.  I went out a second story window and was imminently pulled sideways into the air above my City.  The colors were brilliant.  As it started to be pulled up I first started to panic and then just said "Go with it and see what happens".  I finally go pulled miles into the air and decided to visit GOD.  Well that did not work out as I had hoped.  I suppose he was busy on more important business, it was however the start of one of my most successful OBE. I did in fact meet several guides thow they scared me and I ran due to lack of OBE expericnce.  Something I found about going through walls.  Try to look for a small hole and look through it and you show should slip to the other side.  That has worked for me.

I was pulled through a wall not too long ago from a conscious projection. As soon as i hit the wall i blacked out and arrived in a very pretty park.

I experienced the wind too.  A few times it even helped me OBE, by "blowing" my body out, from the side...

Did you try to spin on yourself or let yourself fall down backward...?

If I look at my palm just before I hit a wall, I can temper the shock of impact. If I don't focus on my palm at the moment when brief darkeness fall on me inside the wall, I can easily black-out or my vision will become blurry at the other side. This is dangerous because in my case, absence of proper vision may cause the proejction to collapse in seconds and I'll have to detach my subtle body again.

The "astral wind" is my subconscious being set before I started to move to my destination, or it can be some external force grabbing me at the height of my stomach. If the wall I drawn through is symbolic (wall that separate two state not connected by 3D structures or in the RTZ), the practice with my palm is not important. If the walls are "real", (they build 3D physical or astral structures), focusing on my palm will help me to keep the dream as I fly through them.

Travelling with the "wind" has three stages: undocking, transferring, redocking. The docking processes are most conspicuous at times when I start the "autopilot" from a building. At first, my "density" have to decrease in order to become able to get through the walls. Just before this moment, it seems to me that I become invisible for the dream people. The redocking process is similar to the undocking process, but will occur in reverse order. The transferring stage is various, mostly takes place above a surreal landscape.

If I'm walk inside a wall focusing on my palm, I can explore the dark space "inside." If the wall is entirely hallucinated (a regular dream object), I would find myself inside a tight, body sized cave, connected to the external space by a pipe-like structure. If my state is just above the RTZ, the walls acts like honey. In the RTZ the walls felt like cold water and gently vibrating from inside.

If the wall I'm inside is not a physical wall (like in RTZ-OBEs) nor a hallucinated/dream one (like in LDs), but a wall from the "lower astral," I'll found myself in a space similar to the "3D-void." A little further from here and now, the space behind the walls will turn into an enormous, surreal space. I can walk directly into this space through the wall of my astral bedroom. By doing this, there will be a great chance to found myself being attacked or noticed by weird things.

In the normal environment of our lucid dreams/astral projections we may not perceive these entities, because our sensory system will interpret they essence in pictures we accustomed to, for instance weird peoples, frightful animals and moving objects. But one thing is common in these enveloping pictures: they radiate some kind of elecricity and fear. By walking into a wall in the lower astral we don't change our state of our energy body, but we'll force ourself to build a new interpretatory system. Until it's not constructed, the palm could serve as basis to hinder the sensory collapsus by keeping together the shematas of the old interpretatory system.

Where you obe from probably is not important, what is is how aware you remain and the control you have over the experience, since I have many experiences that degenerate into dreams and I'm sure dream images are coming into the obe experience.
Going through walls can become a creative experience. If I feel real energetic I can just think my way to the outside. One time I put my arms through and pulled myself through even as i was having the thought that logically this should not work.

May virtuous qualities, merit, and prosperity greatly increase
And may continuous good fortune and subline well-being perfectly arise.

I have been trying a direct OBE with rope without too much success. However I do lucid dream quite a lot and am getting much better in controlling my environment.

This morning I got caught up in what was obviously astral wind during a lucid dream. This pulled me very quickly from behind for some time and then dropped me off by a building next to some trees. I practiced there for the first time going through the walls between the various rooms. I could not go head first through the walls and had to turn around and go backwards. Anyone have experiences with this wind?

DOes it really matter if I do an OBE from a wake state or just lucid dream and then go off into some astral plane? the first thing I thought of as I was being pulled by the wind was going at 45° to escape the "real plane" or "earth" where I presumed I was to get to the astral planes but maybe I was already there or are dreams not in an astral plane? I find this confusing.

Since working on this for 2 months now I see it is like training in sports or something where I am slowly learning basic skills which then build up and make together more until I am ready for something bigger like the stories many tell here of going to various realms or something. To do this however it is necessary to consciously control more than just the act of lucidity/OBE itself to expanding to visualizing/flying/manipulating environment/walking, etc. Like a child learning to walk/talk/dress itself, etc. slowly my skills are becoming learned and eventually I will be able to explore more generally what I want to or plan what I want to do when I realize I am in a dreascape/astral world.
