i think the other planes are called 'mental planes'.  i don't think you have a body there but more of a sense of unity.  your body would then be existence instead.

the sensations you say you are feeling seem like the right ones.  falling intensely should really deeping your trance state, almost inducing the vibes because of it. you are able to reach trance, right?


if you are looking for projection tek's, there are a whole bunch here somewhere.  i don't think your knowledge of physics has anything to do w/ your problem.  do a search on projection techniques and projection tek's.  i know i made a post myself a while back w/ some good ones.

the rope is supposed to come towards you.  as it would if you were climbing it.  concentrate on the feeling and not the visual.  if you can, cut the visual out altogether.  the results will increase tenfold.  this applies to all projection tek's.

georg19, i'm not sure what kind of problems you are having due to you being a light sleeper.  if you can be more specific it would help.

trace, be sure to feel comfortable w/ your energy body development before you attempt any primary center activity during trance.  i only suggest raising energy while in trance to promote the vibes.  actually, you don't even have to raise energy during trance as much as raise awareness.  try moving your awareness up and down your body, instead of just in one direction.  this should stop any energy raising and promote more of a total body awareness instead.  you should feel some pretty heavy energetic sensations while in trance.  

do whatever it takes to get the new system to start working for you.  if you've already felt some sensations though, you should try and stop all visual aid.  the slightest concentration on anything but the feeling will take away from what new was actually designed for.  it also takes away from how impressive the system actually is.  it took me about six months to feel comfortable moving the energy around my body before i tried to stop all visual imagination.  about two months ago i managed to completely cut out everything but the actually feeling.  i can't stress enough how much i've progressed since then.  i can get major energetic sensations throughout my entire body in about two seconds.  i wasn't able to do this while visualizing.  

as soon as you can, stop the eye movement.  it's surprising how much more effective new is when the only thing you are aware of is the feeling.  eyes closed, eyes shut, it makes no difference.  if you find yourself visualizing or doing anything but feeling the feeling, stop it.   it's better to correct things now than try and break habits later.

strwrs, i don't know what you mean by trying to keep it interesting and less repetitive.  i didn't think you were doing anyhing like that and didn't mean to imply it.

and i don't know what squeek is talking about the old post thing for.  did i miss something?

i always thought it was perception of something other than the three-d world.  maybe our third eye picking up something.  it would make sense that since our eyes are less useful when it's dark that another sense would try and make up for it.

existence is just an exploration of your mind.  don't try and divide things into this and that.  experience is experience.  

supposedly nothing can do you harm while oob.  robert seems to hold the foremost opinion on the subject.  all of my experiences have agreed.  some of them were extremely scary.  once, something yelled at me that i was about to die.  it's never really anything more than noises and visuals though.  a few times i have felt sensations but they were all good sensations.  

actually this morning i had an experience that should have been a scary one. i  woke to a half projection, half phasing incident.  the first thing i saw was a witch on a broom, flying around.  the whole background was dark and gloomy.  there was a bunch of fire that i was headed right towards.  the first thing that popped into my head was 'wow, that's hell right there.'  i thought it would semi-scary despite my confidence, but i headed right towards it as fast as i could.  as soon as i did it all went away.  this doesn't happen every time but fear projects fear.

i can't remember what it is but i think i remember robert saying it worked almost every time, or something like that.

hey greatoutdoors.  i only saw one of your posts where you asked an unanswered question.  astral projection and oobe are the same thing.  post the rest of your q's here and i'll ask my magic eight ball for the answers.

sure levitation is real.  i can levitate, just as everyone else on the forum can.  if you are having problems just let us know.  i'm sure we could teach you in a few minutes.

grigori, i dont know of any glossary here.  there were a few terms that i didn' tknow about either at first.  like, imho means in my honest opinion.  this one got me for a little while. just ask.  

pdb, great.  i am not sure if it was definetly in the treatise or not but i remember reading it somewhere.  robert bruce just comes to mind wheni think about it so that's why i thought treatise.

kileigh, i've never heard of the underground dragon you are talking about.  have you read ad yet?

cassandra, i had some incidences w/ the dweller too.  i read about him first though and it made the experience a lot of fun.  otherwise it would probably have been scary.  i remember telling the dweller that i wanted to be his friend in a very sarcastic voice and telling him if he kills me i wouldn't be able to do that.  he hasn't been back since.

strwrs, i know what you mean about waking up out of the matrix.  it feels good to 'know' that we are kind of seeing through a lot of the bovine excrement.  i used to disbelieve in all of this.  i was hard-headed and really thought i was right.  i thought all of the people discussing this type of thing were crazy or wanting attention.  now i feel that i am 'right' again.  that feeling that i have of being right is the same feeling that everyone else in teh world has about what they are doing.  all of the religious followers, all of the atheists, all feel that they are right as well.  this doesn't have to be on such a grand scale either.  it could be something smaller like what kind of music you listen to or how to drive.  it helps me to to keep an open mind now, instead of just believing that i am right again.  there is  a chance that many of the things i believe in now are not what they seem.  

it feels that 'we', as in the people here on this forum, are right in believing and thinking what we do.  even if it's unsaid, or unacknowledged, most of us feel that we see things  more clearly than others.  kind of like we are a step above.  as long as that type of thought exists in any of our minds, we are not any better off and no different.  to really be that step above we've got to be as neutral as possible.  we've got to be sure that when we are 'waking up out of the matrix' that we aren't waking up directly into another.  one that is going to be even harder to wake up out of becaused of the renewed faith we have in it.  it's very easy to fall into that.    

trace, don't worry about asking questions that have been asked.  i've been a member on a lot of forums where people get yelled at for that.  i've never seen that happen here and on the contrary, i very much like answering all of the questions.  it actually feels good not to care about repeating myself.  usualy you'll just be pointed in the direction of the post that would help.  a search though, should bring up almost anything you need to know about.  there are only a few of us that can actually project consistently here.  all of the rest of us you could say are beginnners as well.

as for your vibes - i would suggest keeping up on the n.e.w.  i remember being in trance waiting for the vibes to happen all of the time.  i hadn't started doing new yet.  anytime i am in a deep trance now and i start raising energy they come on pretty strong.  i remember reading something about not doing energy work while in trance somewhere.  maybe it was in ad.  it may have said something like it would be better to develop your energy body first, during normal daily activities, or just in a slightly relaxed state first.  too much energy raising in the beginning will make for frail energy pathways and could be detrimental later.  when you are in deep trance, energy raising is so easy.   the slightest thought gets some major energetic sensations.  

also it's important to not move your physical body in the slightest bit while you are projecting.  it's strictly a mental action.  i've failed many times right on the brink of exit due to me trying to project physically, and not mentally.  i wanted to project so bad that i started to move parts of  my body to kind of help.  i didn't even know it was happening till a month or so later.  pay close attention to what's going on.

i went through this too.  i think it's more psychological than physical.  the first time you noticed it probably left a slight impact.  it could have been a little disturbing or something.  the more you think about the problem, the more prounounced it will be.  keep meditating, it will eventually go away.  

you don't need to close your eyes to meditate.  actually there are many people that do it w/ thier eyes open.  if your eyes open slightly, leave them that way.  if you find that they are opening fully, and you dislike that, tilt your head down a little bit and stare at a spot on the floor about two feet in front of you.  your eyelids stay about half open w/out any effort.

in the early stages of meditation there are many little relaxation problems such as these.  work through them, confident that they will subside.   some of them can be very distracting and will take up much of your time at first.  the best thing to do is to not fight anything and do what feels the most comfortable to your body.  your body knows what's most comfortable for it, just pay attention to what it's telling you.

welcom.  it wasn't too long and your english is fine.  i wouldn't have guessed it was a second language for you.

you sound like you are making excellent progress.  maybe you should reconsider thinking that you have no natural talent.  a few weeks and this is where you are already?  sounds good to me.

that is a little strange that you can't get your brow and crown chakras to activate.  i've found they were the easiest ones to get moving.  actually my brow chakra is always very active.  sometimes i have trouble sleeping because of it.  

have you tried moving an imaginary ball back and forth in between your two temples.  there may be soemthing about it on the treaties somewhere.  it works well.

that numbness is a good sign of progress.  the hands is usually where it's felt first.  they have huge energy exchange ports in them.  i learned a trick when trying to activate my hands.  i try and feel the space around my hands instead of my actual hands.  i think it helps expand that part of the energy body faster then just raising energy.

after months of trying to oobe i finally had one.  it  started while i was asleep though.  i woke up into a half projection.  there is  a good chance that this will happen to you.  the more you try to project, the more you will be thinking about it.  you  may  even be tryin to do it while you are dreaming.  when you lay down to sleep, try and prepare yourself mentally in case you wake up into it.

i don't have add and i don't know anyone who does.  i'm going to talk about it like i know what i'm saying though [:)]  

we all have add.  some people can concentrate better than others.  i firmly believe any problem you have can be solved by yourself.  

meditation is definetly something you want to keep doing. typicall, three weeks isn't really enough to see the kind of progress you are looking for.  if you want results fast, don't skip a day.  if you meditate for half an hour a day, try splitting it up into six sessions of five minutes a piece instead.  it will help you stay focused.  it won't help much if you start a half an hour session and are only focused for a min, then lose yourself in thought for the rest.  that would mean you only were meditating for one min a day.  

what type of meditation are you doing?  one where you try and focus your attention/energy on something is the one you want.  i've been meditating for a little over a year now.  the first six months were extremely hard but now i can maintain a very decent amount of focus. there are plenty of sites that you could look at to give you a good description on what to do.  this is the first site that came up when i did a search http://www.plotinus.com/zhine_tibetan_dream_yoga.htm
go from there.  do a search on anything you don't udnerstand.  it seems very hard at first but it will get easier w/ time.  

the main thing for oobe is not clearing your mind.  your mind doesn't have to be clear at all, and if i'm not mistaken it would probably be better to be thinking about something instead.  clearing your mind would allow your body's feelings to come into play more.  your body is something you want to lose sense of while trying to obtain a trance state.  

the adrenaline pumping will go away the more familar you get w/ trance.  we all get excited in the beginning.  it feels very awkward, and it's a sign of progress.

i find that morning is the best time to meditate.  it helps if you can keep your mind clear of what you are going ot do for that day.  it will take over your meditation session if you let it.  

during  my stay at a monastery we were to meditate in the morning at six for an hour.  we weren't allowed to anything beforehand, speak or even eat breakfast.

the tv thing is something i've given some thought too.  i believe that it's got a lot to do w/ our hearing, even though it may not seem it.  not entirely hearing though.  

if you are in a room w/ the tv on and close your eyes and someone starts moving around in the room, you can kinda sense  their movement.  i believe this is from the noise, or whatever it is, bouncing differently.  you can do the same type of thing near a refrigerator.  i'm sure def people have their own description of the feeling, but i think if you can hear, it's mostly noise disturbance.
