Well so far.  I have read a good chunk of the material by Dr. Bates fellow.  It is his belief that most if not all eye disoders stem from mental stress or some form.  Stating that the eye was not designed for the use it gets in modern time.  Which was the 20's for him if I remember correctly.  He also states that the major key to better eyesight is to first get yout eyes and mind to relax.  I have been doing excersises for this only so far.  When doing energy work and meditation I have been resting the energy on my eyes for a brief moment or two, just enough to start mild sensations.  I then remove it because I do not want to cause damage since I am experimenting.  This I have been doing for almost a week now.  I have notice a slight increase in vision when I first wake up.  I can actually read my clock for the first 30 secs or so.  But it fades rather quickly.

I have not yet gone through the core image process yet to check for anything else that is there.  It is however an interesting idea to check there for things relating to the eyes.  I plan on doing this soon but want to gather more information of the process and build up a little more concentration for it.  From what I read in another forum Mr. Bruce had some difficulties getting it started.

That is it for now for me.  Hopefully I will have more and more positive info later.

Welcome.

It means same excersise but with both legs at the same time.  Together not seperate.

There is no set in stone time frame for this stuff.  Just keep at it.  Every one is different pending thier energy make up.  Some of us have been trying for a long time now and others it was a natural thing.  It is achievable however.

I will try to explain a little better what I mean and then I have another question because of your responce.

I have some what of the "sight".  I see things that aren't there for every one else.  I guess you could call it astral sight but since I have not made an aware projection I don't know.  Most of the things that I strike me as being based here in the physical or at least once were.  I have teken steps to ensure that my home and more other my room is a safe place for me and my family, I have been doing this since I was about 12.  I do know that it has worked for the most part over the year with the exceptions being some of the houses or set ups caused dorrs to be open all the time.  I ask for the difference in entities because I know this works for spirits or things that are/were based in the physical at some time, but I do not know if it works for everything.  The only time that I can recall were I might have been attacked was when I had just moved and not yet claimed my new area.

So by your post, does that mean that a different set or kind of barrier would need to be used in order to protect your house/room for the safety of your astral/energy body while you were asleep and not conciously projecting?

So I ask this.  Is there a difference between say a "purly astral" entity and a spirit?

Sounds odd but try asking her while she is asleep to stop or inform her that she is.  Do so as not to wake her up.  I have found that people are highly suggestable while asleep and you can give basic commands that most people obey.  It's kinda fun.

A quick break down of life and scholls in the US.

In general the schools in the US are behind most of the other major countries.  Our education level is average at best.  How ever if you do some research you can find some really good collages and universities.  But the coast can get expensive for people who are not locals.  That being most of them have two rates, one for in state students and another for out of state students.  And you are most diffinatly out of state.  You would also require I student visa in order to go to school here if I am correct.  And possibily a work visa as well to get a job for cash in flow while here also.  Things have become more locked down as of late.

As far as people, social life, and money.  Well things vary greatly from location to location on all of those subjects.  The best thing to do would be to look it up.  As far as money and social things to do.  As far as people I can only tell you about the places where I have lived.  California is okay, It is relativly easy for you to meet people there most are friendly but the cost of living is high.  As for Arizona it is okay too.  But we have a lot of crazy people.  You have to be carefull where you are going to live.  Travelling is easier is AZ than in CA any how.  The roads here don't get as conjested.
But there is a large selection of kinds and types of people in general in the US.  You can most deffinatly find the perfect little place for yourself here.  I don't know anything about Australia.  Oh, one more thing.  We do have a large selection of bugs, animals, and wildlife here as well.  Many can be rather dangerous.  Specially the desert.

I was and I guess we, are only expressing our opinions.  As every one does when they post anything.  Sometimes there is however only one way to express your thoughts on a subject.

And for me personally I do not say anything that I would not say in public out loud.

And well ask any woman if she takes what any man says fully to heart.  This being only that women know us better than we know them and most understand that we often can not help being the beasts that we are.

I have not had an OBE but I have been skydiving twice.

It was very freeing and relaxing at the same time.  I can recall the entire 2 dives perfectly.  The first one was by far the better of the two.  I remember the day before I was eager and some worried.  All the different things going on in my head.   But at the moment I put on the chute I was calm.  Even just as I was walking around in the hanger.  the plane ride up was relaxing.

The door slid open and there was nothing but blue.  The air was cold up there at 10,500 ft.  even though it was about 90 out that day.  The first step was interesting it felt like we were doing about 75 mph.  I know what that feels like since I ride a motorcycle.  I climbed out holding onto the understrut of the wing and standing there with one foot on the platform.  1...2...3 and then there was nothing.  I went through the little motions they wanted us to do, but other than that there was nothing else.  I mean no thoughts, no emotions, just an odd sort of bliss.  I did not care about anything for that 40 secs.  I was overtaken by the feel of the air wiping around my body and the howling of the wind.  I only wish that it took longer, even though that 40 secs seemed like a life time.  It is hard to explain the feeling of being wrapped up in that kind of nothingness, where the entire world seems to dissapear there is only that moment in time.  Even now a piece of that kind of joy is there and I can feel it as I recall the memory.  that moment changed me for ever.  There are a whole bunch of things that I just don't let bother me any more.  When compair to that experience they are nothing and so why should I worry about them?

Oddly enough even though I know what it feels like to fall at such distance for that amout of time it is not a feeling I can recreate while I am trying to AP.  But the feeling is there effortlessly when I recall it at times like this.

When I am going to stop while I am still warm and fuzzy.

It is good to have a completely original thought from time to time.  But isn't it great how sometimes you can ask a seemingly innocent question or make a silly remark and create such a responce?  Like my topic on being bald <---shamless promotion]  which is at 26 responces, and even this topic which is at 11 now to include this one.

As far as women who shave thier heads....I is definatly a case by case issue.  Some look okay, other great, and yet still others need a bag.  This is however the case with anyone who is bald.  Granted some can not help the fact but still.   Luckily the Dr. did a good job when pulling me out and I did not end up with a mis-shapened head.  But some people just shouldn't go there at all.  It is kinda sad to see some one who is skinny up top with a funny looking head.   I only hope that my brain case doesn't get funny looking with age.

Side note-- Anybody else notice how many different terms or phrases have been used for hair/no hair?

Not as odd as you may think.  Although I have never personally seen it done there are many who say they can create what is called a Psi Ball.  The thought does interest me though.  If nothing else it would be cool to be able to say that yes it's possible and I can do it.  But what could you use it for?  What would be the benifites?

You know now that you mention it.  I usually feel it the most when I am on my computer.  But I have been getting it sometimes when away or trying to meditate.  Interesting.

It isn't clear to me how to set up a place to store energy so that we can all have it as needed.A picture file doesn't seem significant enough.
---

In theory there would be no actual place for the storing but rather it would be in the bonds that are set up.  It would be much the same as recalling a memory, you think of it and it is there.  At best I figure you could simply think of the circle that is formed and be able to rejoin it.  I also think that if you had enough people participating it would be easy to maintain the circle because of the different scheduals and such that every one keeps.  I have noticed in the forums any how that I am rarely alone here and there is at least one other person browsing at the same time.  It would only take two people to keep the energy "alive" and could be maintained in this fashion as people join and drop out of the circle.
But I would think that it would need to be a daily thing as far as "Logging" in and out to help maintain it.  To think of it while you were awake and some what disconnect yourself from it when you want to rest, sleep, project, or want time to yourself.  I believe that this would eventually lead to everyone being able to project together, well for those who can.  It would be interesting to say the least.
I also feel that there would be very little need for concern of some one who was malicious to tap into the circle since that at least two people would be awake a notice changes in the energy.  They would be able cut ties to those that would harm the circle.  It could also be said that by forming a ring like this if soe one were being leeched they could joing the circle and we could help them break the connections to the other that is leeching from them.

Sometimes when I'm doing healing for myself, my usual energy doesn't seem as effective as help from other people. It is like having a new perspective on a situation I have gotten stuck in to the point of not seeing how stuck I am.
----

I do not have much experience with healing but it would seem logical to me that it would be easier for someone to see the problems in others than in ones self.  Much the same as it is in the physical when some one offers advice on your life.  If is usually easier for an outside source to see the errors of your ways than it is for you, only because often people have trouble admitting to mistakes until someone points them out.  I feel it would be the same with healing since it is often difficult for some one to realize that there is something wrong with them because they are, sorry for the wording, too close to the subject.

I believe there is a certain amount of  residual self image that changes things.  Everyone has a image of them selves locked away in thier mind.  It is a gathering of how they feel they look and how they feel the world sees them.  Which is also the reason for some of the more scary or ugly spirits who walk among us.  They are so because in part they are tormented by something and also inpart of how they viewed themselves just prior.  It is not that they bare the wounds of thier death but rather of thier life.  The wounds of the inner child as it were.  That is the best reason I can give for living a life of no worries or regreats, for they follow us through death itself.

I find it great that some one else is thinking along the same lines as myslef.  Because of other aspects that make me who I am I have been looking for some one to try and openly "bond" with them.  As far as a willing subject to share thougts, emotions, and energy,  but not in the same fashion as you would with some one to whom you were married or given.  But two total strangers share certain thoughts and experiences.  I think that it would be an interesting experiment, but it is often touchy as to how to approach some one with the idea.

But I some what like the idea of possibly having an "energy reserve" of a type created by many people.  It is interesting to see if it is possible and what may come of it.  Some one could use it for healing or a recharge after a bad expierence.  I would think that if possible that it would also contain a certain amout of conciousness with it, as in it would contain a certain amount of an individuals experiences or thoughts with it.  Possibly allowing us to share aspects of each others lives.

An interesting idea to say the least.

Yes and it spins more freely with out the hair! http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/images/icon_Smile_wink.gif" border=0>

And one more thing...For those of us who have the doo, or rather lack there of.  How many people do you know that just like to touch it cause it's bald?

I actually had some one lick my melon after a fresh shave just so they could say they've done it.  But he has always been really wierd.  Yes HE.  It's a long story.  But lots of people just like to touch it.

And besides, I'm just getting a jump start on nature.

Tom-

I do me best to stay away from things like that.  It is only because I feel it would mask the true problem at times.  I usually use the time to reflect on what is going on in my life to see if there is something that is bothering me and if I can fix it.  Which I can cause I can fix anything....I am God gift to the maintanance and trouble shooting world.......................Now that me ego has stopped swelling and I can type again I will continue.  I find I end up doing a lot of meditation during these times.  It does help some.  Sometimes, which I would rather have happen, I have trouble staying awake for more than 30 mins at a time.  That can be fun because often I will be doing even the most basic of tasks and end up falling asleep.  You have no idea how many weekends I have missed due to that one.

muzza-

Luckily enough I have only had to go a max of 3 days with no sleep then I usually colapse.  But it really screws my sleeping for a while afterwards.

I find that what works best for such situations is to say something totally unexpected.

Like in that case. You go...In a happy and cheerfull tone Like the person is actually helping you.

"Are you sure? It was the other way around yesterday.  They must have switched it last night."

Then while they are confused you go merily on your way.  And as you are leaving say thanx for the help.

It works really good for all kinds of things.  Most people do not know how to respond.  This being mostly that when one gives a hostile remark they expect a hostile answer.  The cheery mood tends to confuse them.

Then there are always the quick one liners too.

"That all depends on you perspective."
"Your point being."
"And I care because"

Things like that.  Those are ofcourse intended to ofend.

Certain trends like that often make you wonder.  And the Bible character was Samson, it think.  Yes his hair was his strength.    But the hair nor hair thing often reverts back to being more connected.  I have determined that there aer basic to character types for religion in general.  You have your free spirit wanderer types, Jesus and the like.  And you have your truth seeking enlightenment kind, the Dalai Lamma and others.   You have the long hair type who orginally spent most of thier time outside civilazation and the bald ones who spent most of their time in the middle of it.
It is an interesting thing to look at.
