We all have psychic armor... it's called our ego's.  Any thought you have that separates you from everything else is a manifestation of your armor.  It is because we perceive ourselves as different and separate form everything and everyone else that we think we need armor.  If you perceived everything as a part of yourself, why would you need armor?  Why would you need to protect your nose from your own fist?

Tayesin,

They're all over... It happened to me when an "enlightened organization" tried to take my web domain name out from under me.

That said, I am a bit of a paranoid person and I feel I did draw this to me through my paranoia.  I always thought someone would try to steal my workshop before I got it copyrighted (got that taken care of.)  So, this experience I did draw to myself, just verifying to me that my thoughts do create my experience... this is what the New Age preaches as well.  Additionally, the longer I'm here, the more I notice that my experiences are first thoughts in my mind before they become actual experiences (even things that we've talked about before... I thought of the experiences first... didn't realize how scary they would be once I experienced them but never the less, I drew them to me through my thoughts)

Not to diminish your experience... I wonder what your attitudes were regarding this before you had the experience.  Did you doubt that they would hold up their end of the bargain?  Have you been suspicious about the establishment?   If so, these are the exact thoughts that are causing you to experience these things.  There are some wonderful subliminal cd's out there, here'a a link to a couple of sites http://www.brainsync.com/ and http://www.innertalk.com/Welcome.html (this one even has samples you can listen to while browsing) listening to these types of CD's will help you to change your programming... they're good for everything from Creating Abundance to weight loss. The help you reprogram your subconscious mind to draw more of the experiences that you wish to experience rather than the ones you don't wish to experience.

The Universe is unbiased and nonjudgmental.  If you focus on what you do not want to happen, that is the experience you will draw to yourself.  If you focus on what you do want, that will be your experience.  This is what I have observed and it is what I teach.

Just think about it and you will answer these questions for yourself.  There is certainly no need to respond to this here.

I wish you well, my friend.

Love,
Kerri

oopps, seems I screwed up my name number. Try again!

Actually, all double digit numbers (11-99) are Master Numbers and carry their own weight.  It is just that many numerologists don't know much about them, there are a few books out there that explain more about Master Numbers.  Contrary to an earlier post, a person can resonate more or less with the vibration of either their name or their birth date or a combination of both... even a Birthday number can be the number that one favors.

My Life Path Number (Destiny number as it is called here) is a 3

My numbers that make up my name are all Master Numbers, these are the ones that I resonate towards, using my creative 3 Destiny number to help me in accomplishing my goals in this incarnation. (coincidentally, I was able to keep all of my Master numbers in the same order when I got married...???)

Soul Urge or "hearts desire" which is the sum of the vowels in my birth name is a 22 Higher vibration of the 4

Quiescent self or Outer Personality which is the total of all consonants in my name is a 55 higher vibration of the 1

My Expression Number or reason for this incarnation is found by adding the sum of all the numbers and is a 77 higher vibration of the 5

As the crow flies, I probably live about 60 miles from this town.  Last summer, we had an animal come out of the woods behind our house every afternoon and eat the apples that the neighbor put out for the deer.  We all concluded that it was a sick fox... This is "Hunt Country" out here and maybe there's something going on with the fox population.

Read some Pia Melody or Melody Beaty books... They have been where you are and you might get some help woth your own psychoanalysis.

Do you think the people within your community will not notice if it gets out of hand?  Your greatest strength is admitting what you perceive as your weakness and having the courage face it.  You need to do what is best for YOU and staying addicted to alcohol is not, I assure you.

Is there nobody in your community you can go to for help who has been where you are?  You need help, it is extremely difficult for a person to handle alcohol addiction or really any addiction on their own.  Perhaps a therapist?  This will be confidential and they wunderstand these things.  You need someone there with you to provide you with their strength until you can handle it on your own, when you can be someone else's strength.  Believe me... someone who has been in your shoes will be happy to help you because by helping you, they are also helping themselves.

Blessings to you and Please take care of yourself.

I don't think you can have a great sex life without love but that's just my opinion.

I personally agree with your assessment but it depends upon your definition of great sex life... which is why it was in quotes.  To many, having lots of sex is considered a "great sex life" but it again, depends upon your perception.  I'm talking about when it's purely physical... then there may be lots of sex, but no real sharing and intimacy.  If one is not in touch with their emotional/spiritual side, lots of sex can be the equivalent to a great sex life... but the physical may be the only part that is valued in circumstances like these (the conquest so to speak.)  In which case, the person(s) would not know what great sex is so you are of course right.

Love is Love and seeks expression in whatever form that expression feels most natural.  It really has nothing to do with "physical" love... you can be physical with someone, have a "great sex life" even and not feel Love for them.  If one is not a "touchy feely" person, there's nothing wrong with that as long as that person is expressing themselves in their most natural form.  If on the other hand, one is trying to restrain their natural form of expression because of some preconceived notions about propriety and has an urge to express themselves by giving someone a hug or kiss but are merely practicing self restraint, then they are then not living true to themselves.

Jouni I remembered my point in the last post.  Are you saying that the "affinity and love that is closer to our reality perspective." is a person who is basically at the same level of evolution?  Like I said before, I feel I have a great connection with many yet, I feel they have much to show me so I would say they resonate at a slightly higher "reality perspective" than I do.  Is this then where I'm heading and not where I am?  Or am I slightly blinded from my own contribution and we resonate at basically the same "reality perspective"... perhaps I just don't know my own gifts to them?

Jouni,

I think the more I'm growing, the greater my personal experience of Love is wanting to be expressed.  There are a few men in my life who I have a great affinity for.  Each of them has very similar qualities that I admire and expresses themselves in a similar manner, from similar points of view or seemingly similar observations of reality.  I love each of them tremendously and would love to say we are on the same wavelength, yet, I feel that in a way, they are each more in touch with who they really are than I am.  I am striving to know who I really am, yet do not feel I have much to offer any of them.  However, each of them willingly and joyfully gives their affection to me in their own way, through feelings or words and makes me feel as if I am also gifting them something in return.

Today, I caught myself off guard as during fellowship after church (eating) my minister came up behind me and placing his hand on my back, leaned over my shoulder to see what was on the food table.  I spontaneously gave him a kiss on the cheek and kind of caught myself off guard.  It was so quick but such an authentic and natural response.  I have a great affinity for him, yet this is just a feeling and has never been expressed or acknowledged between the two of us and I feel it was just my soul seeking expression and the opportunity presented itself and it happened before I had time to think.

Now back to Runlola I think the Unconditional portion of love is that ultimately if we were living as authentic unconditional expressions of love, these types of things would not take us off guard.  They would be natural and expressed regularly.  However, because we have imposed so many limitations and conditions on our love, how to express it, to whom, under what circumstance, when, etc, etc... we shame ourselves when we authentically express love by  kissing someone on the cheek.   We are afraid of "impropriety" and protocol and what people will think and will they take it the wrong way and I've commited myself to this one and you've commited yourself to that one, etc, etc.   We've placed so many "conditions" on our love that we make ourselves feel unsafe because we're so worried about what others will think of us. (as you've already stated in far fewer words)

I don't really remember what my original point was so I'll stop now [:D]

From my understanding and my own interest in the same subject matter as Dan Brown, most of the historical accounts are true or at least researchable.  The story line of the main characters are fictitious but the research he has done is exhaustive.  If you are interested in some of the things he states in there, read, Holy Blood, Holy Grail, The Woman with the Alabaster Jar by Margaret Starbird, The Nag Hammadi Library Edited by James Robinson, which is the Gnostic scriptures, if that's too much for you, read, The Gnostic Gospels by Elaine Pagels (this an overview of the Gnostic Scriptures, is easy to read and fairly short, written in modern language.)  Also do a search on the Knights of Templar or Freemasonry (the Templars are the original Freemasons.)  Also, look into the Kabbalah and Jewish Mysticism... these will all help you independently understand some of the research that Dan Brown has done.  This is a start and if you're interested in finding your own truth about whether the story line is based on fact or fiction, these will lead you to more resources to investigate.

So, how do you define a promise?  I know this is semantics but just humor me [:D].  Is it anything that comes out of a person's mouth or do the words, "I promise" follow?  To me, anything that comes out of a person's mouth is a promise but some people may see that differently.  I rarely use the words, "I promise," however, I feel I am an honest person and try to be truthful to the best of my ability... Nothing hurts more to me than stating an untruth that I know is false (another way of looking at is... being untrue to myself.)

Again... what constitutes a promise?

-Kerri
#138
Oh... so I see, you're not talking about, future promises of love, life dreams and goals.  You're talking mere utterances like when my kids ask me if we can go to the park, I say yes then I find out it's 95 degrees outside and too hot to do anything.  That's when I have to break a "promise."

I guess we need to define the term promise in order to properly address your question.  To me there is a difference.

Master Jouni,

Perhaps a promise is more like the vocalized desire for a thing to occur and a personal affirmation that that thing would be one of many desired outcomes within multiple universes.  Perhaps the promise is the truth for that person at the time of the promise, not having the forsight of knowing what events may or may not occur in the future to nullify those promises.  If the promise is broken, it is not that the person is untrue, it means the circumstances have changed.

It may be better to not promise but I see it as more of a personal affirmation on the part of the promiser (not the promisee) of what they might desire as a positive outcome.  The promisee is just representative of the physical manifestation of the desired feeling or experience which the promiser confuses for the actual feeling or experience.

Is that abstruce enough?

Berserk,

Thank you for such a thoughtful post.  What I am about to say, some will say is the Devil, some will say is blastphemous and some will say I will go to hell for saying it.  Let them believe what they will for they have been taught to believe in a wrathful angry vengeful God who is judgmental and unyielding.  There are also some who will say that it makes sense and will agree, let them agree for this is also their perception.

It is my belief that Jesus was no more Divine than we are, we are all sons and daughters of God.  Each individual expressions of the Divinity that dwells within each of us and we all have within us the power and greatness that Jesus had.  The main differentiator is that we (with a few exceptions) do not know who we are.  We see God as being outside of us and do not recognize that we all are Gods, we have only forgotten our true nature.  This is why Jesus incarnated and died the way he did, so that he would show us the way and we would know who we are.  He was 100% human and 100% Divine, as we all are, his youth was a period of remembering for him.  The difference between him and the rest of us is our willingness to learn.

God can not experience herself as God unless there are limitations.  This physical realm we choose to live is is the exact, brilliant modality God needs to experience God's infinite nature.  We can not experience Joy unless we know sorrow, we can not know security without the contrast of insecurity.  This is why God created Yin and Yang.  We can not know a thing if all we ever experience is that thing.  We have nothing to compare it to.  Of course Jesus had to experience doubt and uncertainty.  Without it, he would not have known who he was and is.

The same goes for us.  We all need to experience limitations (we have chosen the perfect setting for it... this physical universe of space and time)  in order to experience out true nature which is limitless and infinite.  Life is an ongoing process of experiencing the expansion and contraction of our awareness and through that, we are experiencing ourselves as God.  For God can only experience God through us for we are each individual sparks that make up the entirety of who we are... and we are all individual expressions of God.

Hey Nay!!!

I thought that was directed to me [;)]

Here's another EXCELLENT link... I have great experience with Bullies and understanding what makes people tick... that's a great deal of my work.  Lynne Namka has a great website dealing with Bullies, http://www.angriesout.com/

One think to keep in mind, whenever one is the target of bullying, the person doing the bullying sees in the victim something about themselves that they do not like (their weakness.)  There is much bully blame around and we need to recognize that the victim is not the only one hurting.  The Bully is hurting too... only they hide it better because they have been bullied themselves so much that they have built protective armor and a combative attitude to lash out at people before they themselves can be hurt again.  Sort of a "I'll get you before you can get me attitude."  And through their attack, they only make themselves feel worse (although they don't know it.)

Thanks Tayesin,

I'll look up that book too... Major Ka, just a little tidbit to add to what Tayesin said, (I think we're twins!!!) This is my 33 year (right now) and it truly is a year of spiritual growth for me.  This is also a 9 year for me, (born Dec 28, 1970) a year of endings I'm moving to NY this summer and so that in itself is an end to a chapter in my life.  Additionally, my oldest daughter starts Kindergarten so she will no longer be home... that's an end of a certain chapter.  With the 33 I'm delving into so many spiritual books and am going through a major growth spurt (but I feel like I'm always going through major growth spurts) I'm reading about one book every week that pertains to all things spiritual.

The changes of the 9 are not so bad on one hand yet very difficult on the other... I can't really go into that right now but I think it's a matter of allowing the universe to do its job and let go of control.  [;)]

Anyway, Numerology is great fun and it's amazing how many people really see themselves in the charts.  If you have specific questions, (since we are twins) please feel free to PM me... as you already know.

Have Fun!

Guy,

That site has been the source of great contoversy here... go into the archives a bit and you will see a few other topics about this site.  Just type in mystic web or the website  and you will pull up a few topics.  The general consensus seems to be... Stay Away.  I personally have not been there but it seems that many people have gotten bad vibes from the site... Of course, you should always trust your own feelings and if it feels right for you, by all means, hang out there.  But if your senses tell you to get out... then listen to them.

Majour Ka,

Those sites are good but they don't do a thorough calculation for Master Numbers..  A Master Number is a number like 11 or 22, which are higher vibrations of the numbers that they break down to, like the 2 from the 11 or 4from the 22. For example, an 11 is 1+1=2, or a 22 is 2+2=4.  That site that Hannah mentioned at freesoul.com broke down all of my Master Numbers into the lower vibrational numbers, so it is good for the basics but the formulas need tweaking if you want a truly accurate reading.

When doing a reading, a good numerologist will always leave all of you Master Numbers in tact becasue they represent your highest potential.  In fact, Master numbers are rare enough, however, in spiritual communities, you will find higher concentrations of them becsause of the interests of people who have Master numbers in their names.  This is why here, at AP you will find more people with Master Numbers in their charts than perhaps other places they are interested in furthering their spiritual development and are usually more open to learning and understanding.

The reason I know this is because I have been into numerology since I was about 22, when I found out I have 3 master numbers in my name.  My Life path number is a 3, like yours which is a number if creative expression, yet, my personality numbers are all Master Numbers, usually one will have one or 2 Master numbers associated with their charts but almost never 3.  When keeping the integrity of the full potential of my entire birth name, my Soul Urge (hearts desire) is a 22, My Quiescent number (Outer Personality) is a 55 and my Expression number (reason for this incarnation) is a 77.  Derived from Kerri Anne Edelman.   When I got married, I kept my numerological chart by changing my name to Kerri AE Kannan.

I could go into great detail about this but I just don't have the time right now.  Numerology is a great way of figuring out how you are different from others and will give you insight into your purpose while in this incarnation.

A great numerologist who goes into great depth about the Master numbers in particular is The Master Numbers: A New Approach to Understanding Yourself Through Numerology by Korra Deaver.  Unfortunately, Deaver had been sick for a while and this book is out of print.  I heard, however, that she is doing better and is writing again, you might want to do a search to find maybe some of her new work... I'm sure if she is, you can do an Amazon search and find some of her newer works.

Good luck... Numerology can be very eye opening and give you great insights into your personality and your purpose here.

Love & Life,
Kerri

I actually have trouble imagining a society of sexual freedom and communication. Does it mean sex as young as someone wants it? Parental supervision, like drivers ed? Group sex in an educational setting? What kind of changes would that make to eroticism and childbirth?

I recall reading that Neale Walsch and God had similar discussions. There, God said that other Highly Evolved Beings DO have a very open, healthy outlook, without abuse, without shame of toilet behavior or odor or body shapes. It sounds great to me, but our world is so far from that right now it would take an enormous effort to change.

At least it would be talked about in families and proper use would be taught... It is in the nature of the taboo that the dysfunction occurs.  We as a society are not ready for it yet but it is something that we can teach... healthy sexual attitudes.  This education would dispell the dysfunctional behaviors surrounding sex and it would not be a source of shame and guilt... there would be no need to control others with it becasue it would be seen as natural as walking.
