There's anothing thing to that NLC, we as humans are pretty excellent at treating the physical aspect of the body, but terribly weak with the spiritual aspect.  There's something we HAVE forgotten, healing the metaphysical self.  But in today's society, i'm not surprised to see this being unpopular.

Clow: There's no such thing as too much stress.  The universe always balances itself out accordingly.  Maybe there'll be great stress in one part of the world, but great peace in another... food for a thought...

Peace and equality is always sought after, will we ever reach such eutopia?

That just pisses me off really...I can understand why mental wards were created in the first place, to keep the "crazy" "safe", away from "normal" people.  But I'm surprised at all to find that the workers at the mental wards treated them like that... just goes to show what kind of heart they have.

This world is just so f'ed up it makes me sick, but i try to keep a positive outlook on it.

Just a little inconsistancy:

Even with the feeling of being detached one maybe actually out of the body.  So, my guess is you probably were out of the body. []

I personally think it's weak that the channelers are leaving, but then again, i don't have much background info on to whats going on.

If they are actually being forced out, to the people approaching it with such little respect, you are even lower.

It's all relative to the society and the time.  Everything is in the eyes of the beholder.  There are some people nowadays that live absolutely happily without anything you listed above rhinegirl.  Go ahead and try to argue the point, but the thing is, it doesn't matter.

The best you can do in your own present moment is to be happy with what you have and deal with it.  2000 years ago it may have been the same damn conditions as today, but different contexts.  

In your present day eyes, with the TV, the car etc etc and all these luxuries have just spoiled you.  Back then they had to deal with much much less and I am certain they were content with what they had.

Actually a new theory of the universe that says that it's forever expanding.  But when it reaches near the net density of zero, another dimensional plane crashes into ours and starts another big bang.  Thats pretty much the most compressed version i can come up with.

Kiamu, it is just her ego getting in the way, many time's I am sure that you may have tried to boast about something that may not have been exactly positive...right?  If not, then more power to you, but I believe she understands now that it may have been a mistake.

Just a quick thought, I don't think it's right to categorize ALL people under attack as not needing philosophizing.

Maybe there are some out there that have been helped through this "philosophizing"? Because i sure have helped some by "philosophizing".

Why would we care whether or not you give respect or not?  It's just the internet.  We hardly know each other, except through words and letters on the screen.  

We are addressing a topic that has been discussed over and over and over and over again.  So much futile energy has been put into it that it should be stopped.  Why would we be willing to say "I might be wrong!"?  There isn't anything to be wrong about, because we aren't basing any argument on fact, but common sense.  

And i fully agree with Kiamu, thank you SO much for stating that so extremely well, it's been on my mind for ages.

Eh, i had the same thing when i was younger...actually 3-4 years ago I would be trying to sleep, lying on my bed and all of a sudden i would become scared ****less.  Never knew why this happened, but i would cower under my covers like Sain and wait for it to go away.  

Though, sometimes i had the balls to get out under covers and check out what was going on (still scared ****less).  I would consider it just a phase, because soon after, this stopped and everything was just dandy.  Maybe it had something to do with negs...i have no clue, but IMO i don't like assigning anything due to negs, so i'll just say it was because of my fear of the dark.

Did you guys know i'm also a daemon?  I didn't want to tell anyone, but i'm of sloth daemon origins.  Yes, sloth daemon, because of my laziness and my tiredness all the time, which is just my daemon part acting up all the time.

Well...this isn't enough info at all, if you could tell us more about the experience and what you were doing would help greatly.

I don't really understand what you mean by this statement.  Someones own emotional distress is his/her own buisness.  I understand you might want to come to the forum and post your problems, but those are ones own problems for YOU to deal with.  I've been going through a lot lately and I don't feel the need to implement my feelings on others here, just out of courtesy.  

I think we all acknoledge that you have been through a lot too, but are you looking for some sort of new "Psychological Help" forum?

This is all pointless and a waste of energy in my mind.  What the hell has everyone been drinking lately?  These little battles going on are really starting to get to me.  Namely, the ones between Shedt and DK.  How many posts do y'all gotta hijack?  I've seen this same argument in 3 other posts.
