I would forget what the book says as not everyone fits into it.   Drinking a glass of water, tea or coffee before going to bed should awaken you as you will need to get up and go to the toilet.    I would not advise you to do that.   My husband has sleep apnea like you and he needs his sleep.    He has to have it or he cannot function very well during the day.   There would be better ways for you to do.

Thanks,
I didn't used to have the sleep apnea and never use to sleep past alarms I set.

I'm reading a book by a man named Joel Fuhrman called "the end of diabetes". Just got done taking notes on some flash cards and am going to try the diet. Am on chapter 6 of the book and in my opinion what he says about diabetes is true. It runs in my family and nearly everyone in my family has it accept two of my siblings and a niece who is still young. I could share my notes on the board if I'm allowed or I can pm them to anyone interested.

I tried / slept for the first time with my cpap machine this past Tuesday and felt a lot tired and a bit refreshed.

Thanks.

I need advice on what to do once I awaken to movement.

I've tried doing it but because I have diabetes / sleep apnea I sleep past the 6 hour alarm every night I set it.

I've been trying to practice the problems and don't know what to do once I awaken to movement.

I also need to know how to awaken multiple times during sleep naturally like the book says.

I've been trying to play two affirmations I recorded but to no avail since I don't awaken upon the 6 hour alarm.

Thanks.

Hi,
I'm trying a little mediation / trance work / conscious obe exit work (while still trying obe4u techniques) and need an interpretation of this technique.

It's called point shift awareness and it's from this book

https://fringechan.org/fringe/src/1466551998498-0.pdf

It's the last technique.

What I mean is I need to know what it means when it says imagining from the astral bodys view.

Thanks,

Hi,
For the past one to two months I've been trying the techniques in this book and nothing has happened. I came across this page http://www.dojopsi.info/forum/index.php?topic=427.0 (this one also) http://mortalmist.com/forum/index.php?topic=3144.0 and might try this technique when I have a day off. I already have lucidology 101-103. Instead of doing the technique in the morning I'm going to try to do it right after I go to sleep.

Every-time I try to do it way later once I fall asleep I either don't get up, or am confused by the alarm.

I tried doing conscious awakening but it never works most of the time.

I've only done one conscious awakening during a sleep and didn't catch myself.

Any tips?

Thanks.

*This has happened to me twice this week*

Once I awoke twice w/o an alarm and I thought the dream was stupid and didn't record / stay / follow the dream.

Should I keep doing this?

Any advice?
Thanks.

Do you (or anyone else) know how I can awaken to alarms using the alarm technique? (google astral projection alarm technique)

I've tried and only can get awoken during the night once or twice when I set it every 30 minutes.

I'm using an app for android called "alarm droid".

Thanks.

I've been having mostly partial / mostly full lucid dreams.

I wanted to ask if anyone can tell me how to make it (them the ld's) last longer and me have 100% control over the dream.

I've had them mostly using the techniques Raduga says, but sometimes it happens (one time this week) automatically without doing the techniques.

Thanks.

For the past week or so every time I try to exit my body upon awakening it doesn't work. I also don't awaken to the 4am alarm clock most of the time. I'm using an android app called alarm droid.

Should I try awakening without moving. I always move upon awakening, and in the book it says this isn't required.

Any advice?

Thanks.

Sunday night the app didn't awaken me.

I then tried this morning. It ended up awakening me but I ended up staying awake, probably because the amount of hours I slept.

I'm going to try it later this week but am going to set my alarm clock only three hours after I sleep.

Need advice.

Thanks.
#210
Thanks,
I noticed last night that I either sleep on my right/left side or on my stomach.

I couldn't do the technique because the app is so old that it kept turning off the alarms automatically.

I downloaded a newer app and am going to test it out tonight.

Thanks,
I got a program for android called alarm clock plus. I'm going to set it tonight to awaken me three times every hour so I can try to practice trying to awaken without moving.

Also I sleep on my side.

Should I try sleeping on my back?

Thanks.

I've been trying to do the techniques in this book for a weekend now (restarted this past weekend).

Every-time I try to remember to wake up still I usually wake up so fast that I forget to do this.

What should I do to achieve waking up each morning (days off) without moving?

I recorded an affirmation on my smart phone and play it almost nightly.

Is this a good method or not?

Thanks.

As what what i read from others and from my little experiences : P, it's all about awarness, how much u are aware of situation see examples below.

Dream - A normal dream which we all have every night (not realising that we are dreaming)
Lucid Dream - A dream in which we realise we are dreaming but still follow the scenario
Astral Projection - when you have full control of situation and u are fully aware ( you can do what ever u want, u don't have to follow scenario)

Hope what i wrote could be a part for your answer, if something i wrote is incorrect please mention it down bellow

Give a look (First this one) - http://www.unlimitedboundaries.ca/2015/09/03/is-astral-projection-just-a-form-of-lucid-dreaming/
Second one - http://www.unlimitedboundaries.ca/2012/07/22/labeling-experiences-of-the-non-physical/

I've only had experiences with controlling it a few times. I only remember a few by heart. Maybe 85% and up I'm not in control. The other 15% I'm in control. It's like an emulator / video game. When I'm in control it's like playing a video game in HD either like an emulator (like those for ps2 or ps1) or like the new ps4. I've only had the AP experience one or two times. The other times other than that seem like the LD experience. If I experience it next time I'll try to remember / experiment (control it) more.

Edit:
I'm going to try a free book from a site called obe4u (you can google it I don't want to give a link because I don't know if it'll break the rules). I tried experimenting with the techniques from the book on this site and had a couple of LD'S that I could control. This was a couple of years ago. I also got the vibrations from trying what the author calls "indirect techniques".

Second edit:
I just read the second article. Some of what the writer of this article and the book from the site says are similar. He believes that AP/LD/OBES are all the same. He calls it "the phase".

I'll post more when I see a reply / have more experiences / do more research.

I don't know if it's astral projection or a lucid dream.

It usually happens to me once a month to sometimes once a week a certain month or once every two weeks.

The last experience I had dealt with religious extremists arguing among each other then they either died or killed each other. Then I was in a scene where I was on a highway that connected countries around the world with each other (futuristic). I was then going to China from the US.

They usually happen when / either in a state of in-between sleep and awake. Or I'm a little or a lot asleep. It's always in the morning. But by the end of the experience I end up forgetting. I can never end up remembering the full experience.

Also it's very vivid like a real life emulation.

Thanks for the reply / information.

Can someone explain what this means?

I'm reading this book and can't understand the exercise for chapter 6.

Thanks.

Are there any good books on Ap and meditation or any good articles online about meditation and Ap?

I've heard that doing meditation a lot can make a person more likely to astral project.

Thanks.
#217
I tried doing the technique last night. Nothing happened. Every-time I tried doing it I ended up either waking my body up, or waking up both my mind and body. I'm going to try it again tonight.
#218
I read through the entire forum (the one called "I got out for the first time") and I wanted to ask should I ask my question here? Or there?

I didn't read every post, but some of the posts might have been talking about doing ap/obe without going to sleep or from awakening.

I think I might ask on that forum instead of this one.

Thanks for any replies.

I tried yesterday before a nap to do the technique under the "first time I separated" sticky.

Every time I've done this in the past (trying to keep my consciousness awake enough for the body to go asleep) my mind/body return to an awake state.

When I did it yesterday my mind was a little bit awake. The only reason I don't do it is because I have school almost everyday except Saturday and Sunday.

Anyone can give me advice for how they did it this way.

I'm also going to read that whole forum when I have a chance.

Thanks.

Thank you,

But on average how long would it take to exit the body?

Depending on the binural beats I use it takes me mostly 10 to 15 minutes to get into a trance. Then into the vibrational stage. After this I usually get fed up waiting and then I usually just quit.

Also when I had the feeling of the second body. My upper physical body moved like a rocking chair and it ended up being painful.

Can anyone give me advice from their perspective teaching others?

Thanks.
#221
Today I tried to meditate / ap. I physically relaxed myself, then I went into a light trance state saying MABS. Then I visualized my chair view which got the vibrations starting. I tried saying / visualizing a door in my house by saying "door now". After this I did a mental rundown of my town. I then had a feeling that I was mentally in my town (like a vivid daydream but very active) while my upper body was physically moving. I sensed (or what it felt like) a second energy body was trying to come out. Also during the trance / meditation it felt like my right hand went up.

What does it feel like when the astral body separates after / during the vibrations?

Thanks.

Luffy28,

I applaud you in your dedication to exploring this technique and making numerous attempts to make it work; in my case, I did the same thing, but I ran into eventual frustration and never made the transition until I gave up one night, fell asleep for a short time and then actually came aware 'within' the Mind Awake/Body Asleep state. It was only then that I realized how far off the mark my earlier attempts had been. MABA literally means what it says, and only when you are 'in' that mind state will you understand the difference. Your body is totally asleep (in my case snoring) and your mind is incredibly free to do what it wishes. Maybe it is just that simple that some of us can more easily achieve the state and others cannot; it certainly was not easy for me.

The night this happened for me, I was able to make several 'etheric' exits and a couple 'phasing' exits, very different experiences. Most important was the result that I got a clear idea of the 'feel' or difference between the various experiences. Now, I simply look for the appropriate opportunities when I take a nap or awaken in the middle of the night or early morning. Some of these times the transition can happen with ridiculous ease.

What I am saying is not to discount any of what you have experienced, even the seemingly unsuccessful attempts; on the contrary, I think this is all good and necessary training and it will pay off for you at some point.

The next technique you might try is to work an exit tech for awhile and then simply go to sleep with the intention of what you want to occur. Set the intention and let your subconscious do its work.

I thought the MABS phase was when the body is very comfortable and the mind is super awake. I've been doing meditation type attempts with binural beats and have gotten to / in the vibration stage by imagining being in another place. Me imaging being in another place is how I get into the vibration stage. The last time I did it I tried getting up and nothing happened. It felt like my physical body was going forward but I couldn't tell if it was my actual body or my astral body. I've done it less than ten times and I've already got to the vibration stage. The last time I did it was three attempts in one day. By the second or third attempt I was barely thinking any thoughts. I'm going to try meditation on the side even thought I already have step 2 silencing the mind already mastered by saying a mantra, focusing on a quote / idea or a person / picture.

I also tried the Monroe technique while doing a meditation type exercise. Accept I was lying on my back. I physically relaxed myself, then I silenced my mind by focusing on a mantra. Finally I got into the vibration state by recalling a view from a couch of mine. Once I got into the vibration state from my head to my stomach. And a little bit on the bottom half of my body was shaking. I tried to exit my body but it felt like my physical body was moving.

Is the physical body feeling like moving a sign that the astral body is going to project ?

Thanks.
#223
I'm going to try to do the Monroe technique as the exit technique.

I tried doing another technique but it was too confusing / didn't work.

I'll post what happened.

Yesterday (the 23rd of March) I did instructions from a book I read on ap. It says the three main steps are 1. physical relaxation to the point of feeling not having a body. 2. Silencing the mind. 3. Projection exit technique.

I relaxed my body just as step 1 says. As I was doing this I made my body feel like a statue. For step 2 I said in my head "mind awake body asleep". Then the vibrations came and I experienced them after this nothing happened.

What do I do to get past the vibration stage and to the point of my astral body exiting my physical body?

Thanks.

What most people have to realize is that the "akashic records" isn't a place... it actually isn't any "THING" at all.
Consider it a record of everything that HAS happened and everything that COULD HAVE happened... along with a potential for anything that COULD happen in the future.  But mostly the first two things.

As such, it's part of consciousness... and guess what?!  YOU ARE PART OF CONSCIOUSNESS TOO!  :)  Isn't that handy?
This means that YOU always, at ANYTIME, have direct (although it might not seem that way at times) access to it.  All you need to do is learn to listen to it.

Through our non-physical experiences (what you are subjectively calling a "dream", "lucid dream" or "astral projection" -> because, meh, they're all the same thing anyway) we have more direct access to this information (because, as we know, EVERYTHING you experience is really just information/data anyway).
While we're experiencing this physical reality, we DO have direct access to it as well, but it's only accessible through the same filters which our consciousness currently experiences this physical reality.  Meaning, you have to put up with all the interpretations and snap judgments your consciousness makes on a secondly basis.  So, how do you go about to do this?

FIRST, you meditate... focus your mind.  Unless, that is, you're a person who is always in a focused state of mind... then you can kind of just shift your attention towards that focus.
But let's face it, most people are absent minded these days.  hehe  So, meditate... focus your mind for a few minutes... push away as much physical-ness from your awareness as you can.  THEN, ask your question.  Say it out loud... think it... do whatever you want... just make sure the Intent behind your question is strong and with a powerful purpose.  THEN, sit back and wait for an answer.

This is the most important part of this process... your answer will most likely *NOT* be something verbal.  Don't get me wrong, it COULD come to you in a neatly verbal reply which you "hear", but it probably won't.  As such, you need to listen intently to your body.  The answer could come as a change in temperature... a breeze... it could be in the form of a memory popping into your mind... the point here being, remain COMPLETELY OPEN to *HOW* the answer comes to you.  Don't judge it, don't analyze it, just accept it into yourself, however it comes.

That's how you access this stuff while "physical".  :)

Isn't it much easier (for beginners at least) to ap/ld/obe to access the akashic records?

I've tried reading books / looking for meditations on YouTube and they're not that good in my opinion.

Are there any free online resources for accessing the akashic records while not ap/ld/obeing for beginners?

I've got books on meditation. But I have such a large collection of books I want to read that I can only read a couple at a time.

Thanks.
