When you can see things when you are meditating you can ap if you want to.   You just have to get out of your body.

You are extremely close to ap.   You are in the position to do it.   You just need to learn how to do it.   I would love to have your sensations.   I would be aping a lot more often.  It would be wonderful.   You do not need to take years to ap.   You can ap now.  Practice moving away from your body.

Ideally it is best to try to get out when you get vibrations.   I have found you can still get out when the vibrations are over.   You lie still and do an ap technique.   You can imagine that you are at some place or do some other technique.   We are all different so what might work best for me may not work that well for you.   That is what I read in the ap book.   When I get an obvious vibration I spiritually get out of my body or I do an ap technique, such as swimming, walking or whatever.    When I feel my mind and breathing is relaxed I often do not have to do anything.   I instantly go to some place.

If the vibrations passed and you did not get out, it means you did not succeed.   You can still get out.  It is not always too late.  You did something wrong.   Perhaps you thought of your body, if so, that will stop the projection.   There are other ways to wreck it as well.  There are times when I wreck it and sometimes I succeed.   It comes down to practice and trying different things.

That is wonderful to hear Xanth.   It gives hope to everyone.   I am looking forward seeing my cat.   The last few mornings I fell asleep.   I will keep trying

This tells me you were very close to ap.  You were in a position to get out of your body.  You just had to get out.   
Just because it was a weak experience does not mean it did not happen.   It probably happened only for a short time.   It sometimes happens to me and I doubt it was real as it was very short.

No one could tell you whether you really saw your dog or not.   I have come to the conclusion that we could always be saying did we really see that person or animal?    Now I think I probably did.   You could try to see your pet again.    I recently lost my cat and it makes me feel sad.   I think I saw her but I was not that aware.   I have to get that awareness first then I will try to see my cat again.    I could never be 100 percent certain that it will be my cat.   I have to accept it and think I really did see her otherwise I will always be thinking did I see my pet or not?

In another forum they talk about real time zone.   It did not make any sense to me so I ignored it.   It worked well.   I do not have any problems.    I find things out for myself.

If I meditate early I do not have that problem.   As soon as it starts to get a bit late, I seem to fight with myself.   Part of me wants to meditate and another part of me says roll over and go to sleep.   You can do this later.   I have battled with this for a very long time.   Finally I am able to meditate when I want to meditate.   I keep telling myself I can meditate anytime and it works.   I am not able to meditate when my husband gets into bed as he snores.   I try to ignore it but it does not work.   I do not wear ear plugs as after a while it starts to feel uncomfortable.   That can be a distraction so it does not work.

I do not have a fear of death.   My concern is where do I go to when I have died.  What place do I end up in.   I am a good kind person and I try to do the right thing so I do not think I will end up in a bad place.   That is not the reason why I try to be good person.   No one really knows what happens.   Good and bad people could go to the same place.   I hope not.    I do not want to be with evil people.   I do not want to be wandering around aimlessly not knowing where to go.

Hi all, I have been trying a different method.   I have not succeeded as yet but I will.   It is important to be confident and think you will succeed or it becomes a lot harder to do.   When I go to bed, I try to go to bed earlier so I am not tired.  I meditate and I watch myself getting more and more relaxed.   I just have to concentrate a bit more so I will not fall asleep.   I have been practicing for weeks.   Before I could be lying for hours and nothing happens.   I think that happens is because I do not believe I will ap.   It is very important to get my mind right and to be positive.   If I start to feel uncomfortable when there is no reason I tell myself I am comfortable.     It helps a lot when I say that.  I will let you know how it goes.    I can ap if I get out of bed in the mornings but I want to ap in the afternoons.

Lionheart gave you good advice.   You need to ignore the twitch feelings and the crack sound.   This is when you have to forget about your physical body otherwise you will not get out of your body.   The process will end.   I know it can be hard to do but that is how it is.

Just assume it is a symptom and try to ap.    It will not do any harm.   Give it time as the first few times we can muck it up.   It sounds like you are close.

You can still look for signs, such as, if your body is starting to feel lighter or feels different in anyway.    Your breathing is calmer and more relaxed.   Your mind is starting to feel more relaxed.

Xanth is correct.  You do not always get vibrations.    You guess and you take a chance.   If you ap you ap and if you do not ap, you do not ap.   I imagine something and that is when I know I can ap if it works.

When your eyes are closed and you can see, you are in the position to ap if you want to.    I ap when that happened.    I got out of my body.

That can easily happen to anyone.   We have to try to remain alert and aware.    The author Buhlman says to say, awareness now and when you feel you are starting to go into a dream, say it again.   I say, I am alert and I feel objects or myself to get aware.   You do not need to keep doing it.   If you feel you are aware then you can stop doing that.

I am sorry but I disagree with this.   You do not visualise while you are falling asleep otherwise you will most likely fall asleep.   You visualise when you are aware and awake.    It works.   You have to be patient.

If you start fighting in the astral you are likely to always fight in the astral.   It will probably keep happening again and again.   I would not like to spend my time fighting in the astral.

Do not be too hard on yourself.   You are doing fine.   Visualise something for a while and when you start to get bored, stop what you are doing.   Meditate for a while and try again.   You do not have to be good at visualising to be able to ap.   You do not have to smell or touch things to ap.   Do something that is easy for you.   If it is easy then you are likely to stay with it.   Do not force yourself to see something as that will put a strain and will make ap harder.   Sometimes I imagine something and it does not work.     Other times I imagine something and I ap   When it does not work it means you are not ready to ap at that moment.  Perhaps your body and mind is not relaxed enough.

Amazing, I might try that to.   What are the benefits of doing it?   Is it a waste of time?    Perhaps it is fun.   It is like it is magical.

Hi all, I am getting better.   Unfortunately it takes time.   I notice when my mind gets a little relaxed then I know I am about to ap.   I kept going to places again and again.   The problem was I kept going back to my breathing which I know was a mistake.   I kept going back into my body.   Now I am prepared so hopefully next time I will not do that.   When my mind gets feels extremely relaxed I know I am about to ap as well.   If I did not notice my signs I fall asleep.
