Heya Luffy!

It's seems pretty straightforward, but let me see if I can simplify the wording.

It seems to be all about focusing on your breath and slowly, over a short period of time, increasing how deep you breathe in and out.

Step 1: Find somewhere you won't be interrupted.  Sit comfortably.

Step 2: Breathe normally, focusing on the air coming into your mouth and into your lungs.  Do this for, probably 10 minutes or until you feel a sense of relaxation begin.

Step 3: Now, instead of breathing normally, you're going to begin breathing in a bit deeper.  For example if you breathe out 4 seconds and in 4 seconds... then you're going to, at least, double that to 8 seconds in and 8 seconds out.  Keep doing that until it becomes a relaxing experience.  (I usually find deep breathing to be VERY relaxing :) )

Step 4: Now, as you breathe in, you're going to add a 4 second (or however long you want) point where you're holding your breath.  So breathe in 4 seconds, hold for 4 seconds, then breathe out for 4 seconds.  This has an even further effect of further relaxation.

Step 5: Work on further deepening those breathes... focusing entirely upon the air coming into your lungs and then exiting your lungs.

You're essentially using the air as a focus for your attention.  The more you can bring your entire awareness to your breath, the deeper you'll get.  :)

Does that help?

Yeah.

Thanks.

I don't know but the wording of the book is confusing.

This reminds me of the time I tried to AP to the Wite House. Yes, I had heard the stories about how it was protected against astral invasion. Well, I somehow made it to Washington and was about to go inside the Wite House when this crazy enormous WIND started blowing. It was so powerful and it blew me away preventing me from entering. So, I now sort of believe the stories... there's something protecting those buildings.

I also have read that the US government is still doing RV along with astral travel. The only time I was able to access the first debate was when they were inside (the two candidates) and it was from a distance. You're better off watching the actual debates rather than RV/APing there IMHO.

Hi,
I'm reading a book called Navigating the OBE and I wanted to know if I should do this technique or just do progressive relaxation?

I'm on chapter 4 of the book and it this is a quote from it I typed up

Deep Breathing Technique
Good for: Everyone, but especially those new to relaxation techniques
Consistent full breathing has a tangible effect on the body, resulting in a
deep level of relaxation. It is the single most powerful way to relax and
relieve stress; therefore many of the processes I describe include some
degree of breath work. To begin to understand the relationship between your
level of relaxation and your breathing, here is a simple technique.

Step 1: Find a comfortable place and sit down. I recommend a posture
that you know you can sit in for an extended period without loss of
circulation or discomfort. While many people attempt to go straight into
the lotus posture or other yogic asanas (postures), this can be
counterproductive when learning, because if the posture becomes
painful, you will not be able to continue or benefit from what you are
doing.

Step 2: Now focus on your normal breathing rhythm. Dont try to adjust
or slow your breath at this point; just become aware of the natural speed
and depth at which you normally breathe. Continue until you feel
totally at ease and comfortable with this level of calm stillness.

Step 3: Now take a deeper breath and exhale naturally and comfortably.
Continue breathing in deeply and exhaling deeply until it becomes
second nature.

Step 4: Continue as in step 3, but now hold the breath for a few seconds
longer. Use this moment of stillness on the in-breath to imagine your
state of awareness growing and your tensions vanishing. Let the breath
out slowly. Continue like this, but begin to gradually slow your
breathing.

Step 5: Find a natural, deep, slow in-and-out tempo. You may want to
count the seconds so that it is easier to gauge how long the complete
cycle takes. By counting in this way, you may also find that you can
slow the breathing cycle even more, with practice. If you find counting
a distraction, simply trust your intuition with regard to the length of the
cycle and slowly build from there. The goal is simply to reach a state of
deep, slow breathing, which will result in a deeper level of relaxation
and calm.

I need to know in regular English what these five steps are because the language / writing confuses me.

Thanks.

Being "a bit" of a conspiracy nut :-D, the thought of doing this has always intrigued me, I've read about the astral guards before but there is never any real details. What exactly do these guards do ? Would you advise against doing something like this ?

I tried going to the building where the first US presidential election debate will be. The guards usually mentally block me from going to the building. It's also a lot of guards. From what I can sense they have black suits like the secret service. I don't know that's the person's choice to do that nothing has happened to me in real life.

Sorry for the late reply.

Hi,
Last night I used the alarmy app to awaken me every 20 minutes and had to shut it off period because I was too tired. How many minutes at a time should I set an alarm to go off (after I set it afer 4.5 - 7 hours from sleep)?

Thanks.

Hi,
I was in a psych ward. One day I had visualized a woman from top to bottom (normal visualization) and quickly inside my head (or mentally) it was like my mental sexual energy went crazy and I was experiencing mental sex (it's hard to explain) but I felt it all over my body. I don't know if it was anything to do with chakras or kundalini but I haven't been able to replicate it. I know it was at a time where I didn't have access to anything sexual (including masturbation even though I did that once in this place).

Any ideas / advice / help?

Thanks.

I'll never understand how or why people look down upon something like this when it's nothing more than an aspect of who they are... they're just ignoring it.

Anyway, "remote viewing" is definitely something you can do by yourself.
It's essentially projecting... except you don't non-physically go anywhere.
Instead of "going somewhere", you're projecting by watching an image on a screen. Kind of like watching a movie.

That's exactly how its been for me I've tried going to government buildings and they have astral guards. I also want to know if anyone else can give me some book recommendations for mental mediumship. I know IMHO that it can also be done with pictures of people. But I want books just to verifiy online sources would be nice to.

Thanks.

Hi,
I wanted to know if there's a type of remote viewing system I can do by myself without a partner? The reason I'm asking is that the people I live with shun or look down on things like astral projection and lucid dreams.

Thanks.

I'm going to try an akashic record hypnosis on YouTube because I tried a past life regression by Brian Scott and it was pretty good. I can share the results of it if anyone is interested. The only reason I'm using YouTube is that I'm not 100% able to access the akashic records all the time.

Thanks for the replies.

Hi,
I wanted to know where I can find info to read online about soulmates vs lovers in this life. The reason I'm asking is that the only thing I know about soulmates vs lovers is when in the spiderman comics Gwen Stacy dies and she is forever known as the soulmate of Peter Parker while his lover in his current life is Mary Jane.

Any info would help.

Thanks.

Besides the one very first spontaneous projection I had, I practiced twice a day for probably two or three months before anything at all happened even no hypnogogia or anything :/

It really takes a hell of a lot of practice to get real results,. Now one thing I gotta give raduga is this, the non direct method he details. Trying to wiggle out after waking and before moving or opening eyes seemed far easier for your first attempts,. I got a result from that after just a few tries but you have to be practicing a lot already to remember not to open your eyes and don't move when waking up first thing,. Gotta be eating and pooping this stuff for breakfast lunch and dinner to remember at that exact moment so it's not a short cut as he would explain in his book by any means,

The way he details it is like you wanna try an AP without all the hard work, do this,. Which is just not even close to true,.

Nobody gets results in this practice without several months of practice,... I think? Maybe I'm just slow to the game., lol

One technique I'm trying is during the day to brainwash (or make myself believe by force) myself that it will work no matter what. I also bought his second edition book and have tried reading the direct method in both editions but don't understand the section. IMO for the indirect technique the first version (free) is better than the newer one.

For 1-5 attempts (1-3 days) – 50%
For 6-10 attempts (2-7 days) – 80%
For 11-20 attempts (3-14 days) – 90%

Yeah, I think the above for the attempts is the total number of attempts done over say 2 to 7 days. Since he says that if you don't get results with a maximum of 4 cycles then do five to 10 cycles if it doesn't work.

Thanks.

I wanted to know what anyone (or someone) thinks this means in obe4u statistics

For 1-5 attempts (1-3 days) - 50%

For  6-10 attempts (2-7 days) - 80%

For 11-20 attempts (3-14 days) - 90%

It's from a printout I'm currently looking at.

It's from the obe4u website.

Thanks.

Become a Shaman or one of those Voodoo Priest, they do exorcisms.

For some reason I also know a lot about the human body like a doctor. I wouldn't be surprised if I was a doctor in ancient Egypt (it could be Tutankhamen but most people would think I'm crazy for saying I'm his reincarnation = this is who I think I was since he was mixed race and had more of one of the side showing in features than his other side). Is there anyway I can become a Shaman from a book and with limited training at least the reason I'm asking is that I'm having hard times money wise and am about to be kicked out by a family member (parent). I also know can communicate with certain dead spirits and wanted to make a living doing the communication. I know I can try to advertise on the afterlife TV site but don't know what to do.

Thanks.

Hi,
I wanted to know how to become an exorcist without becoming a catholic priest? The reason I'm asking is that I can't go without having a mate (partner) and don't want to go through the hustle of dealing with the catholic church. I also want to have a business of communicating with the dead. I also can now to a very large degree tune into the akashic records.

Any advice?

If anyone wants personal details you can pm / dm me.

Thanks.

Hi,
I wanted to ask since every time I awaken and stay awake when doing the obe4u technique. Is there a way I can set a timer to let me stay awake for a minute and a half or less? I use alarmy for waking up but when I usually set off the alarm (with alarmy) and I stay awake for more than 2 minutes I automatically stay up and can't go back to sleep. Is there a way to set a timer for a minute and a half without having to log into my phone (unlocking the lock screen). I have an android Oreo phone. These are the apps I use.

Luffy, for some reason, you seem to be neglecting your "Internal Clock". Perhaps that's what is being taught to right now. You can't rely on "tech" itself to project.

Common sense would tell me that if I wanted to awaken during the night, I would do something to interrupt my sleep pattern. That something is as easy as drinking a good amount of water or eating a heavy snack before you go to bed. That will fill your bladder or in case of the snack, force your digestive system into action. A full bladder with force you to awaken long enough to empty it, which in turn gives you a chance to AP. Your body will already be well relaxed at that point, so will your mind. You can then implement any of the AP techniques that you wish to use. There are a number of them to be found here in this Sub Forum. Just pick the one you feel comfortable with and have at it.
http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/welcome_to_astral_consciousness-b30.0/

I don't awaken to a alarm clock at all anymore. I program my mind with intent before I go to sleep. Many times I will awaken a few minutes before my chosen time. At first, I used a alarm clock as a back up though. But like with anything else with this practice and other goal in "life" itself in general, you can learn to achieve it. Practice, Patience and Perseverance are the keys to success with any goal you wish to achieve.

That also happens to me (awakening automatically especially if I take my meds early [5 - 6 pm]). I need to know some beautiful places to visualize it's for a research project called project Elijah at obe4u (I don't want to link to it because some dislike the obe4u method). I'm on a technique where you awaken 2 hours before your usual awakening time and try to visualize taking action in something for 5 to 10 minutes.

Thanks.

Hi,
I'm practicing the practical quest on obe4u's sister site called project Elijah. I wanted to know I tried to set the practical alarm from my phone and it didn't awaken me at all. I'm trying to play two alarms at once with the 2nd alarm being 20 minutes ahead of the first one. These are the notes I made. Is the timing right? The points for the first alarm (like 1:00 meaning one hour) are the cue points in the practical alarm that are supposed to awaken the user. Any help / advice?

Thanks.

Easiest way?

Sit down quietly... ask a question... and just listen.
Listen with everything you have.  The answer probably won't come verbally.

Can I write down the answers? This is what I did when I got the AC technology notes.

Thanks.

What happens when you dont take your clozaril? Ive had friends thru the years who were on those type psyche meds. They can definitely interfere with your practice!

When I don't take it I can't sleep. I've at least been taking one pill a night. Also when I take it at the reduced level it's very hard to get into a deep sleep. When I take the prescribed amount I end up oversleeping.

An example of this could be trying to awaken after 6 hours and not being able to go back to sleep.

Thanks.

I would love to see the notes you took when you accessed the records Luff! Could ya post them please?

I, unfortunately, lost them at the hospital. There's no way to get them back. I remember the notes were very detailed.

Thanks.

Hi,
I wanted to know any good methods in order to access the Akashic records without a non-physical experience (astral projection / lucid dreaming)? The reason I'm asking is that I accessed the records before (last time was in 2014 / 2015) and was able to get information from it about alternating current technology. I was able to write down the information from the records without knowing what alternating current technology is. I have a basic math level and want to know a book or online resource I can use in order to access the records for learning things like math or English grammar.

Thanks.

Forget all about the name "ramp timer" luffy. It is only an alarm to wake you up. Have you ever set an alarm to wake up early in the morning to go to work or whatever? It is the same thing. It is an alarm to wake you up. But the key is you don't want to actually fully wake up. You don't want the alarm to wake you up so you are wide awake. You only want the alarm to awaken you a little bit. Have you ever woke up in the morning and you still feel sleepy and groggy when you first wake up? That grogginess is what you want to focus on. You want to become even MORE groggy BUT remain awake instead of falling back to sleep. So you want an alarm to only slightly wake you up so you are not fully awake. And you want to set this alarm when you are actively in REM sleep so when you slightly wake up you are waking up from your dream state. Do you understand this or not? What dont you understand?

The practical alarm is his voice waking you up in the middle of possible sleep. I tried doing it earlier this morning but when I awoke after 6 hours I ended up staying up for up to an hour to an hour and a half. The reason I stayed up is that I'm not taking the full amount of a med that was prescribed to me. The name of the med is Clozaril. I'm supposed to take 200 mg of it but most nights I take 100mg and 1/4 of the 2nd 100 mg if I take 1 and a half pills I ended up knocked out and virtually can't awaken after 6 hours because the med knocks me out for 12+ hours. When I take only one med I sleep lightly / can't go back to sleep when taking it. Either way, I'm screwed I want to tell my psychiatrist that I don't want to take psych meds but a person told me not to tell the psychiatrist that I want to get off them. I use state-funded insurance to pay for my doctor and psychiatrist since I can't work because of a disability I'm trying to go to school for engineering while not working (I'm not at college level math yet).

I'm trying to use the newest version of the obe4u book which I have physically. I'll tell the difference once I get a reply. Thanks.

I created a 4.5 hr alarm that is having great results luff. Record silence for 90 minutes then add a quick "beep" or whatever alarm sound you want. Do that in three 90 minute intervals so it will equal a total of 4.5 hours. I did it in 90 minite intervals because that is when the brain cycles to REM. So each rem cycle you will have a brief alarm slightly jar you awake....hopefully into the obe state. Good luck!

I think Raduga officially has a timer like yours.

This is it

https://obe4u.com/instruction-practical-alarm-clock/

It has silence. I don't know if it's an alarm with noise. Someone else online said it was a ramp timer (which I only know a little about what it is i'd be nice if someone could tell me exactly what a ramp timer is).

Thanks.
