So that's how Ms. Rowling sells so many Harry Potter books!!! [:O]

Young Customer:  Excuse me.  I'd like to buy this book.

Store Clerk takes the book and looks at the cover through her bifocals.

Store Clerk:  Let's see here... Catcher in the Rye, by JD Salinger... Oh no no no.  This won't do at all.

Store Clerk sets the book under the counter and hands Young Customer a 12 pound tome from the Children's Stack.

Store Clerk:  This is the book you need.

Young Customer:  But Mam, I was really hoping to purchase Catcher in the Rye...

Store Clerk:  Catcher...?  You haven't seen catching until you've read about Harry Potter racing on his Nimbus 2000 to catch the Golden Snitch!!!

I'm real sorry to hear about your dog.  I lost my first dog to cancer a few years ago and it was a very rough time.

I don't know much about ki.  But one thing you could do is tell us what your dog's name is and what kind of dog she is.  Describe her a little.  Also, you might mention her physical location in the world.  This would assist people here at Astral Pulse to send your dog prayers and healing energy.  It couldn't hurt.

Hang in there.

P.S.  I know this is harsh but its 420 in the morning and im a little tired of the excuse "they are just trying to help so its okay".  Help someone when they're not a customer.  A paying customer btw who is buying something from their store.

I agree, GoingSlow,

When someone is a cashier at a bookstore, it is wrong for them to belittle your choice of books.  Not to mention it is poor business practice.  I doubt that the store owner would have approved.

I believe and respect the Ouiji boards powers. This is because, at my 9th birthday party, I recieved a ouiji board (the small crappy kind) from my friend. I laughed at it, and left it (in its box) on the floor of my room. The next day, when I got up, I tripped over it and broke my leg. I now respect its powers!

Ouch!
Well now I can say I know of one clear example of someone being hurt by a Ouija Board.  [:O]

I will not do drugs personally. It is my personel choice. I dont care if others do. I just wanted opinions.

In answer to your question, Liz.  Yes, I think it is possible that pot helps your friend experience a higher frequency.  But, imho, now that he knows how this higher frequency feels, he should work on reaching it without the pot.  That way he gets the benefits without the negative baggage.

I do not think that Journeys Out of the Body is out as an e-book.  But I'm not sure.  You can definitely order the book itself from Amazon.com.  Good luck!

With Monroe, definitely start with Journeys Out of the Body.  It is the first one and easiest to understand.

There is a worm out and it is in full swing right now.  I have heard of many people being infected by it.  Here is an article that briefly talks about it.

http://www.eweek.com/article2/0,3959,1208127,00.asp

Your computer will say something to the effect that "Your computer needs to be shutdown in a certain amount of time."  Something about "RPC".  I have not been infected by it so I don't know exactly what it says.  I have heard of several people installing the windows patch with no success in correcting the problem.  I have found a method to prevent yourself from getting infected though and to find out if you have been infected even if you have not gotten any messages yet.

Prevent for windows xp the main operating system affected:

1.  Go to control panel and select "administative tools"
2.  Scroll down and find "Remote Procedure Call (RPC)", double click it.  You may have one called "Remote Procedure Call (RPC) Locator), don't choose this one.
3.  Select the Recovery tab.
4.  Change the "first failure", "second failure", and "subsequent failures" boxes to "take no action.
5.  Click apply and then okay.  You are now protected.

Fix

1.  Click start and select "Search"
2.  Search for "Lovsan.exe", "LoveSan.exe", and "MSBlast.exe"
3.  If you find any of them delete them and empty the recycle bin on the desktop.
4.  Go here to get updates if you have not done so in a while just for future securities sake.  http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/

Good advice, LS!

I would only add a step 1.5 between steps 1 and 2 of your first set of instructions.

1.5 Double click on "Services". (this brings up the menu where you can select "Remote Procedure Call (RPC)")

My wife is in Information Services and has been dealing with this all week.  Apparently, there are already many variants coming out to further complicate matters.  But your advice should still do the trick for now.  Unfortunately, http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com is getting slammed with all the people downloading the update, and it may go down entirely when the worm launches it's special attack on that site.  I understand that you can also get patches and info at http://securityresponse.symantec.com/

Good luck everyone.  This is a nasty one.

I believe in science. Mainly the fact that all OBEs and ETC can be explained by scientific laws, either existing ones or ones that need to be created. Did you read the intro to this forum? anyhoo, human beings only remember a very small portion of what they see hear and touch. So doesnt it make sense that if you could get instant access to your subconscious you would have access to every thing you didnt remember? it does, and thats what I think an OBE is.

Hi Shadowcatcher,

Here is my two cents.  I have yet to remember an OBE or even a lucid dream, so take it for what it is worth.

Science is reliable but slow.  It could be that science will take thousands of years before it can accurately describe the astral or even the unconscious mind.

Many people at Astral Pulse don't seem to want to wait around for that to happen.  They have seen enough to conduct their own experiments.  That does not mean that we have to believe that there is an astral dimension beyond ourselves, just because they say it is so.

But, if we reject the notion of a shared astral reality until such time as it is scientifically proven to us, then we may be missing out on something very valuable.

As for me, I won't say that I unreservedly believe in the worlds described by OBers.

But I will suspend my disbelief, to avoid erecting the very mental barriers which could prevent me from having the experience that would prove it to me.

It's far more natural for people to think, "I'll believe it when I see it".  But what if the only way to ever see it is to at least suspend your disbelief?

If you were to do this, and then had an astral experience which you were able to verify in your waking life, it might give you more proof than you will ever get from science in our lifetime.

Anyway, just my thoughts.

Take Care!

I suspect that MOST people are not aware of their projections because deep down, they really don't WANT to be aware of them.  Because the reality would be too much to bear, for many, many reasons.  Bringing that level of Awareness back down to the day-to-day requires you to be . . . shall we say, responsible, or faithful to that level of Awareness?  "Whew," we think, "too much work."  Our souls travel at night, but we black it out by morning

Very interesting post, Tisha.  I think that we've all had the experience that when we start to pay more attention to our dreams, we tend to remember more dreams.  It's almost like we have to convince our higher consciousness that we consider this a main priority.  Otherwise, it will mainly draw from the things that we are unconsciously telling it are important like fears, worries, infactuations, obsessions, etc.  Just my two cents.  [:)]

Thanks for sharing all of those wonderful pictures, PW.
I particularly dig the one with the dolphins in space.
My question to the experienced OBers is, which of these pictures remind you most of your actual experiences?

The only bigfoot I saw was my own.  My wife bought me a nice pair of cowboy boots at Wall Drug.  They feel great when they are on.  But I seem to be unable to remove them without assistance.  I'm hoping that a return to hatha yoga will help to remedy the situation.

Hi Nick!  Thanks for the welcome back.  I can't wait to get caught up on reading all of the posts from the last few weeks.

Hi Cainam,
San Diego is very nice.  I lived there for a couple of months, many moons ago.  Good luck with the money and the trip.  [:)]

If you are really interested in learning to use ki, especially for self defense, I would recommend that you ignore most of the websites that claim to know all about it.  Instead, start taking martial arts classes from a reputable teacher. Tae Kwon Do is good.  You might also look into Kung Fu or Karate.  A good martial arts teacher will spend a lot of time working on breath and ki.  This is the real, practical study and not the fantasy stuff that so many kids seem to be getting sucked into lately.   Just IMHO.  [8D]

I have flip-flopped between hand written journals and computer journals.  I even tried a special digital recorder that works with a "voice to text" computer program because I am on the road all day for my job.

Ultimately, I have to agree that writing by hand works best, for all of the same reasons mentioned.

Lasher, thank you for your kindness.  I absorbed and experienced Monroe's map so long ago, I find that I cannot describe it.

But I did have a couple more thoughts about it I want to share with you.  You probably know this (I'm new to this forum), but here goes:

F10 is a state where your body is sound asleep but your mind is awake and alert.  My body even snores, and I can hear it.  I think some people call this a trance state.

In F12, you move beyond physical awareness and begin to perceive beyond anything tied to physical reality.

The next group of levels encompass what some term the lower astral levels, or the strata of collective earth consciousness.  When you dream (whether you are 'sleeping' or drift into what  Robert Bruce calls the "Alice" effect in his Treatise), you go to one of these levels that is insync with your frequency.  People who are stuck in the earth life/death cycle end up in one of these when they "die."

Then there are the levels beyond the gravity of earth-consciousness, where folks with greater awareness can go.  I kind of recall, though I could be incorrect about this, that this is beyond F21 on Monroe's map.

Very interesting.  I read the first two monroe books many years ago.  I think it might be about time to buy them again and reread them.  I have Ultimate Journey, but it is packed at the moment.  Thanks for taking the time to fill me in, Trace.
