I am definitely going to obtain this to read it... hehehe.

Hmmm... I need to go to Presbyterian Church tomorrow for Easter.

Quote from: MindFreakThe Satanism that I'm familiar with teaches that Satan was the true creator of mankind. It teaches kindness and morality and also teaches that yaweh was the evil one. I assume there are satanists who worship the traditional christian idea of Satan, in which case I'm sure morality does not play a major role.

I am not a satanist or christian and I do not believe in either god or satan but I like to read about other religions.

I was curious if anyone else is familiar with this other form of Satanism. Myself, Im not familiar with any other kind.
That's some kind of theistic satanism. People have practised all sorts of things they label satanism just as much as they practise things labeled Christianity, differing all over the place.

The official Satanism, is the one established by Anton La Vey in 1966 through publishing The Satanic Bible and establishment of the Church of Satan. All others lost out, and should find new names, and for the most part, they have. The ones who don't are just pathetic.

I prefer Ishtar, Babylonion goddess of love and war. Easter is the celebration of the rebirth of Tammuz, god of the soil, and consort to Ishtar, not Jesus :)

I find that funny because if you took Christianity to the full extent, it is communism. I suppose the official reason for Christians wanting capitalism is to give people the freedom to be giving, rather than being forced to. I think the real reason is just greed though, which is behind everything in the world.

Funny, if they were capitalists I might just have sided with Russia on that one.

Interesting numerology... so umm... why not put all your lessons and journals up on a web page so they won't get lost once new topics come up? That way you could link to them in your profile and they could be preserved for others to find forever.

Try practising a myriad of kicks... I know I put on music in my basement and try roundhouses, side kicks, rising kicks, snap kicks, and do it with both the front and back leg, switching sides, jumping, etc. All very fun and healthy and ritinr.g

I'm unable to do group things at the moment, and I'm not praying to any Heavenly spirits, so I'll find another path to these worlds :) I'm sure it's not a total requirement, it just might be a bit more dangerous for me.

I'm not saying there would be none, but there would definitely be less. Religion generally propagates ignorance whereas science propagates learning, so you can't help but be better educated on the decisions you make.

I don't believe the Nazis founded it on a perversion of science either, it was far more racism than science or evolution that was being warped. It was based more on the idea that other races were evil and impure and were conspiring to destroy their way of life, bringing them down and enslaving them and that they needed to be punished for it.
#34
Woah, I wasn't even aware people had that delusion, thank you for bringing that to my attention as well as this obvious information to that of those with that idea.

Honestly, I think all Christianity did was impose restrictions on things that weren't even immoral, added onto some basic morals, and I think they got rid of some of the good morals to make room for some of their restrictions in the process.

I can't say I have an experience, but my personal theory is that it just helps to simplifiy and classify things into certain categories. Thinking of things in 'elemental' form is much more fun and easy than thinking of it as molecular arrangements of elements.

I took a yoga class once at school, a girl's mother was teaching it. Not only was I the most flexible in the class, I was one out of only two guys :) I really wish we could have gotten it to be regular thing, it had some cute girls...

I did Wai Lana Yoga and Yoga Zone and Yoga with Padme, all good TV yoga stuff.

So, how flexible are we all here?

Edit: Ever notice how it shows when we edit our posts but not when moderators do it? :) I don't mind though, at least this as an appropriate subtraction... even so it would be nice to be informed :)

Still, in reply to the poster of this thread, I can see why it would seem strange and unsettling to see all this. Robert Bruce did write an Article on Astral Sex... can't find it at the moment.

Guides usually won't be having sex, then again I don't know much about Guides... maybe they will if that's something you've been having a problem with.

Have you noticed an ability to see things with your third eye other than spectral people having sex? If so, then it's probably not all too bad, maybe it's just a bunch of OBEers, you did mention having that ability yourself, can you call upon it on other times or are they only forced in these instances.

What would worry me is if your visions and OBEs are limited solely to these kinds of sexual experiences. Then I would think there is some kind of problem, either in your mind, or with one of the succubial thingies people chat about. If that's the case, try using the abilities but without bringing sex into the equation, and you'll probably feel more in control and comfortable with it and not be as much as a victim.

Maybe it's how you're sitting, you're not cross-legged are you? If so, try it in a chair or lying down. The guys are right, exercise helps, the muscle wants to relax and recuperate once the blood has gone out of it.

Quote from: TracerammoIt may sound odd, but lick the back of your hand.  Do it now.  Now close your eyes and feel the moisture on the back of your hand.  Can you feel where the cool evaporation is taking place?  Can you feel the air on your skin?  Don't think about it.  There's nothing to think about.  Just feel.  You may only be able to focus ont he feeling for a moment, but you'll know you've got it.  If you even suspect you've got it, and second guess yourself, then you've probalbly got it.  Practice that feeling.  Then do it to the areas that your chakras are in.
I find this to be very fun and informative, it's too bad RB doesn't use things like licking in NEW (I think the revised version has you lick your lips, which is neat). Licking is so much more fun than scratching, although in cases like your elbow, you'll have to scratch unless you're an amazing contortionist. Then again, if you're doing NEW with a partner you could lick wherever you wanted. Ahh... the Kama Sutra...

I believe infinity to exist, it's just so obvious with examining math, the only reason it's not considered real is just these silly technicalities of not being able to make or define it very well.

What a load. The Nazi rise was not based on science, it was based in racism and even some strange religious practises (not sure what they were... some christian aspects but mostly a bunch of weird pagan stuff I heard). The Nazi rise was not based on evolution at all, and the concept of wiping out your enemies to repopulate the world with your choice of people was not originated by science at all.

It seems to me this might only be effective for those with faith in Allah?

*sigh*

First of all, I'm not at all sure Theistic Satanism is the best source to be getting your chakric teachings from.

Second of all, you don't 'compete' to see who can open their chakras the fastest. Well... maybe for your first one or two, but as you get higher, if you really are opening them, stupid competition like that wouldn't really even matter.
#45
That sounds deluded. You still haven't confronted the fact that allergies only respond to certain stimulai, and the reason behind that. What is the connection between a random toxin infesting the body and cat hair? I see none.
#46
Guys... I really don't think this would work at all unless you've extensively read about the different kinds of brain waves and have experienced all of them, as well as being able to recognize all of them.

Affirmations are based upon what the mind knows, and since the concept of assigning Latin letters to brain waves is a man-made concept, it must be learned before it can be applied in affirmation. Otherwise it's just a bunch of science terms and the unconscious wonders what the heck we're saying.

Words are not enough.

Quote from: Thanatos5Hmm, first of all, although fear can't be used to PROVE astral projection, theres no reason to think that it can DISPROVE it either.

When did fear come into this discussion? Furthermore, since when is the burden of proof upon the skeptic? I'm not going to quote that whole big thing about tigers you posted, but relating my overcoming an avoidance to spiders to your finding god is just silly: spiders are most assuredly REAL. Please break up your paragraphs a bit, that's very hard to read.

Quote from: redcatherineThe realms are real the simplest way to confirm it is to travel there on a group merkaba and confirm with your mates what you see and hear and feel so that you understand yes they sense the same thing.
Yes, true. First, however, I think the astral plane should be experienced individually, so you can make sure the merkaba is not manipulating you, then yes, testing with various groups (preferably ones far away who could never know what you see) is the perfect way to verify it.

Quote from: redcatherineUntil such time as you can get a group together to do this then look to the voices of those you trust and confirm your experiences with them.
Hard to do when we trust no one, and those few we do do not share our interests...

Quote from: redcatherinePlease take a look at these free video clips from James Hurtak the author of The Keys of Enoch . When my group went to Shamballah we saw the same place depicted in this video . The only difference was that we found less mist and water there . So maybe they went in the rainy season ??? lol
I started viewing them but stopped. I do not need to view them, after all, I have not attempted to travel to these places, if I do go there and see what is in those movies I will have no way of knowing it isn't just a subconscious memory of watching them. Therefore when I experiment with the projection I will make detailed notes of what I saw and compare them to your images. The brief glimpse I did see was very nice though, it takes talent to animate that.

Quote from: redcatherineNow then tell us what you see in
The Akashic Records /Hall of Records
The Golden Chamber of Melchiezedek
Shamballah
the Temples of Wisdom
the Window on the edge of the universe
the devic plane
and in the various ashrams of the Mahatma

let's make this thread  place to prove it is real .
This I will do, are there guidelines on how to get to places like these in astral projection? Is this in RB's book or somewhere else?

Quote from: redcatherineI was very sad to hear a teacher i respected say to me that she no longer believes the realms are real She believes now that the mind makes it up as a construct she thinks it is a human rchetype that we are all replaying a human implanted video for the mind that we are born with . but then she does not see as well as i do and she is not clairaudient at all and i told her thank you for all she taught me and i loved reading her books but it is not all in her head or in her heart that i have gone to these places with a group of 8 others and we all see the same things there Carl Jung also believed that these realms were innate human archetypes that we are born with and that the reams did not exist . But then he could not project see spirit or hear spirit so what proof would he have ?
I think it is refreshing that your teacher is providing an objective view. You should respect your teacher and look at it her way just as you want her to look at it yours, it should provide greater insight. While the best students do surpass their teachers, some students only think they do and get carried away. If your teacher's teachings formed the basis of your theories, perhaps you should listen to her reasons for thinking of it as being a mass unconcious archtype? Perhaps they are even the same thing, just a different interpretation?

Quote from: redcatherineNo it is not imagined it is real  don't let any one tell you it is an illusion or a construct
I don't need them to, I do it myself :) I would not assume it is real just as I would prefer not to assume it is not real.

Quote from: redcatherinego and see for yourself develop more learn to see and hear better you can do it all of us can it is free it only takes time and practice to develop clairvoyance and clairaudience the sky is not the limit
there is no limit the progress is eternal and enlightenment is not a town that you spend the night in it is highway without an end a place that cannot be reached but at trip that is called life c'mon and share it you know there are many on this forum who have been to these realms
don't keep secrets it is time for the next shift so let us gear up together
Many people on these forums do say they've been there but there really isn't any way to know it, verification is a very individual thing. Is the first step in exploring the astral mastering NEW, Treatise on Astral Projection, or Training to See Auras? I'm not sure which to get into first... NEW is sort of slow.

Science doesn't kill anyone, accidents and misuse by PEOPLE do.

Christianity has killed a lot of people, but there's not even a need to go that broad. The number of people killed in the NAME of it is enough.

Math aside, the reason infinite improvement is marketed is that we like to believe our potential is limitless. That's my view, it's not founded but true or not it does result in the best improvement.
