I think it is cool how the titles of books like this have initials that form a simple 3-letter acronym of existing word, it allows them to be easily and comfortably discussed.

There are different levels of electricity, so when one asks what is stronger, do we need to know how much electricity, and how much of whatever we are comparing to it? Energies transfer and can be compared.

I do not know much in terms of electricity, it is obviously something dangerous because people have been harmed by electrocution.

There are scales which measure composition (usually body fat percentage, sometimes also bone mass) by a small current. There are controversial naturopaths like Hulda Clark (now deceased I heard) who measured resistance with some device which she thought indicated various contaminants in the body, and similar some 'Zapper' to kill the living ones.

Furthermore you even have electric shock therapy in psychiatry though I don't think it's as in use compared to the past, if at all. People seem to try chemistry first.

I find the aforementioned a little intimidating... one thing I did find interesting was I bought a device from a Dr. Ho off an infomercial where you shock the muscles and they contract, presumably because if they exhaust their stored energy then they will tire and perhaps relax. I am apprehensive about trying it now though, heh.

There's nothing wrong with coming back after a period of absence :) A lot of new members might not realize how long the place has been around.

I find in a lot of cases with humble persons, they are often complimented even if it is against their will. Titles like 'Lord' might be like that. Sort of a 'okay, you don't like it, but according to your humility, who are you to tell me whether or not to compliment you huh?' sort of thing. I think it's pretty interesting. Often, being self-condemning in a way makes figures very difficult to condemn. If they do so, people may be less urging about attacking them compared to a figure who denies condemnation. It is a spite to authority and form of rebellion in a way, so what better method to pacify than to make it 'rebelling' to compliment a person, and if you criticize the person, you are still indulging in their request to be humble and people will use that to the figure's defense.

I recall when I checked out this one temple that they did deal with some chakra-esque type thinking. It was very similar, they dealt with 3 energy centres however rather than all three, they said to pick one to focus on and that the others didn't matter, so I felt it was somewhat of a different approach.

Fear can be very crippling when it comes to attempting anything new you are unsure about and think might be dangerous. For example, if you're afraid to do a backflip, you're more likely to crash it. That's why people get spotters to help supporting them in the air and rotate them, or try it off a height like a diving board to give them more air time, or on a trampoline so that falls would not be painful and they also give you more airtime.

In this case, if you can't find an in-person 'spotter', reading literature on it or maybe finding an IM buddy who knows how and has guided people through it would help. I can't though since I can't AP either, heh.

That's a good distinction, remote observation is by no means omniscience. Still it would be really nice if concentrated efforts could somehow locate lost people. Saying the possibility is sad, but is remote viewing not as good at locating the decreased? Should spiritual communion be attempted concurrently as a two-pronged approach to determine what happened?

I remember stumbling upon an article about the Indigos on Wikipedia a while back, it's a very interesting concept. I think really, if you are in a progressive society then the later you are born, the more learning resources you will have available to you.

As we evolve as a culture we are learning faster, but at the same time, since with medicine we live longer, the period of childhood can be extended. Just like ours is much longer compared to humans of the past, and animals in general. A longer period to learn, combined with an accelerated rate, should lead to a more enlightened sort of people.

Cool thank you for the reference. The kundalini system is often described in relation to chakra, and if by biology he means how the nerve clusters correspond a lot where people describe chakras, and the spinal cord relating to kundalini in general, it is a gateway for such theories to enter into science.

Reptilians sound kind of Icky, but often in biology part of our brain, the one that is more primal and less conscious thought, I think is described as 'reptile brain' so sometimes I wonder if the analogy is based on that. As the kundalini system has always seemed more primal-like (as the fire ascends from the root chakra, which is more like that as opposed to energy originating from upmost chakra) it could refer to that.

The kundalini is also described sometimes as snakelike and snakes are reptiles... it is often hard to figure what people mean, as lot of them cloak their meaning in metaphor. Do people mean reptiles, aliens, spirits, vampires, etc when they say it, or is it a metaphor for a certain sort of human? I often wonder this about reptiles as well.

Due to that, I probably would not discard people's arguments if they say things, even really out there things like reptiles or demons. People can always be onto things despite other things, I know that Icke for example has some okay conspiracy theory foundation (compared to less fantastic theories elsewhere on sites) so they would not lose any credense despite being paired with strange tales of reptiles. Most people would throw it out, so it can hurt PR, but if we can realize this strange dichotomy then we need not be limited by that.

I'm 19... so I'm still a teen but wow... I'm old. Ehh... well I'm still way younger than you all at heart and the way I act :p I was 13 or so when I first got into this kind of stuff, so that gives me a lot of experience, so woo! Maybe if I can shift my brain into some little kid's body or something then I can say I'm a kid again...

While your logical pursuit of atheism is great, it has some flaws. First off, I don't know anything that claims God exists outside of everything, because in the case of any that people talk about, he/she has somehow interacted with our form of reality in some way, otherwise we wouldn't know about it now would we? All 'god' is supposed to do is exist in a higher form of reality outside of ours.

Also, I'm wondering where you get your 'everything exists' logic. I'm sure I could make something up, and the only place it would exit would be as a thought in my mind, not as a real existing thing in physical actuality. I'm assuming that's how you're measuring reality or the god argument wouldn't work too well.

Sweet! You like anime too, I wouldn't have guessed, I like you more now. I still have yet to see Yu Yu Hakasho but my friends say good things about it. I saw a pic of the main character and his blue energy blade (at least I think it was the main character) and man he looked cool, he'd be fun to cosplay. Have you cosplayed?

So, enough of that, on to the main post. First off, you might be overdoing things a bit here. You said you practise Radki, and unlike these guys I have some experience in researching it. You won't like me much in that I tend to be on Bullshido's side of the debate, but I do know enough that you probably practise martial arts.

Have you considered that the tension in your shoulders might just be from a stressful workout, or just a biological response to any mental issues you're going over or mental stimulation you're getting from reading a thread? Everyone here is quick to jump to conclusions about negative entities, and I'm not saying they're wrong, but nothing you've said indicates to me that it's necessarily some kind of entity or any real problem.
If it keeps up, and you keep getting this sensation, in various areas and various moods and many times, and have verified it's not something medical (which I've noticed Radkis don't have a big fondness for) then yeah, you have a problem and follow up with the above advise regarding negative entity protection and stuff... although being that we're on Robert Bruce's website and you want advise pertaining to the trust placed in that name, I think it's fair of me to say you'd probably want to go with his book on defending against negative entities.

Quote from: knucklebrain1970Just be careful you don't accidentally wake your Kundalini
Dude, if this forum had rep points you'd get one, that made me guffaw. For some reason I pictured that Cerberus from Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone...

Dang but Satanic is just so much fun. Other than the fact that the meditation is on a theistic satanism website, did it have anything necessarily satanic in it?

He said when they're closed, not open.

Well I'm typing with my eyes closed right now, fear my skills, and forgive any typos. Aww heck I'd find them during the spell check I'm going to do at the end of this anyway.

Well... let's see... it's darkness... glowing lights and stuff but I think that's just residual glare from my computer screen. Honestly I can't assume anything is magical about it... is this regarding energy bodies? Yes, I've seen the glowy dots and stuff, sometimes late at night I've seen faces but I think that's mental not visual. Try putting pressure on your eyelids with your thumbs (obviously not too much, use discretion) and you might see a dark area going around with the sensation. What's to make of it?

Educated? He sounds intelligent yeah but other than being educated in english I don't know where you'd find education on things like this other than reading about it. Experienced is probably better, because Major Tom has a unique name on a song that makes me think he has picked something very applicable to astral projection, though I wonder which version of it he likes.

I have had intensely fearful dreams before too. It's different though when you are lucid or OBEing, because then it feels more real, and much more of a threat. In tying your dreams and visions more to reality, you lose the advantage of being able to laugh at it afterwards, while gaining the advantage of being able to experience more of it and being less afraid while in the dream. Perhaps if you can look at it to be as entertaining as you do a fun nightmare, it will be less threatening to you, and if you look at moving as more of an experiment with lucidity than a necessity to avoid dream ghouls, then it might be easier. Much of what we do is about reengineering our brain's reactions to things. It is a slow difficult road to go from the logical decision to feeling it as well. The change must be more than concious...  very subtle... difficult to explain.

Welcome to Metaphysics! / am i just paranoid?

Experiment with the abilities and develop your astral senses, that way you can find out if things are real or paranoia. Delving into it is the only way to answer it.

Rely less on your healing abilities to heal him, let things like nutrition, nighttime tea, a better bed, relaxation on HIS part, do some (or all) of your work for you.

Tell your husband, maybe do work like this right when he gets home instead of before bed. He needs to be more aware of his own health. If he doesn't change to lessen the burden on you, then he does not care and you should leave him, unselfish partners like that are not good. Even if he is supposedly doing all this work 'all for you' and feels like you should owe him one. I lived with that and I see the closeminded idiocy in it, just as I can empathize with it.
#19
Oy, yes, truly that... although I don't totally take joy in accepting myself as I am or seeing others that do.

People should confront their current state, but not be at ease with it. They should re-engineer their lives to become better. If they don't, they disgust me.

After all, why be happy with being out of shape, or unattractive, or being poor, or not being able to do what you want to in life? Just as one must overcome his pretentiousness towards others, he must do the same to himself, yet reap all the punishments he would upon others into himself to break down the barriers, and develop and admiration for the new things he wants to do. The better things.

If you want to ask what is better, people should ask me, because I know. If you need to ask, you should introspect and get feedback from other people, but take it with a grain of salt.

5 minutes doesn't require two posts.

Right... well I haven't experienced many myself, but Robert Bruce does say that doing NEW helps with energy and healing and stuff, so yes. Healing is the main staple of health. It restores us, and it improves us.

Enhanced awareness is not a physical change, so I don't see how it applies here.
#22
Redcatherine, I never saw that mentioned under NEW, where is it?

In addition, I think we've all had a very wonderful April Fool's day. I'm so used to having it come before Good Friday and Easter, but having it after does make for some interesting changes.
#24
My Good Friday was a very emotional experience for me. I actually took the time to fully appreciate what Jesus did for me... did for all of us. I can't believe I've been denying to myself the truth hidden in the pages of the Bible for all these years. I couldn't face it... I felt like I could never be good enough for God, so I tried to pretend he wasn't real, and that evil was the only thing for me. But I was wrong, Jesus forgives everything... even my sins... even my thoughts... and as I long as I have faith in him, and repent for all I have done, and dedicate my life to him, I can live in peace and love forever. I hope everyone can come with me.

Not levitation at all, I've seen this done. This guy saying they're altering quantum feels is a quack. They're bouncing. People can bounce just using their abdominal muscles if they want to.
