OBE Journal (Validation)

I started tracking validations, coincidences, and synchronicities since July 14, 2005 based on my out-of-body experiences (OBEs). Here are the results as of October 23, 2007—broken down into three categories:

This is not the first time that I have had an out-of-body experience, which validates physical and spiritual correlation. In this particular experience there is no question or doubt that can be argued as "coincidence". With careful precision of video and audio recording, there is honesty and allowing the experience to naturally occur. My detailed accounts are hard to ignore or suggest that it's a brain fabrication of just lucky odds.

Many people that I communicate with about the research of OBEs ask if our consciousness survives physical death. I find that we try to put the scientific "prove it to me" hat on and ask for proof, when the skeptic should be proving it for one's self. Being open with a sincere heart and doing the work one's self is the key to success that will unlock that question. I have invested over twenty years to this research and state with confidence we will survive physical death.

October 2007 had not been the greatest for projecting in comparison to last year. I was able to project twenty five times in October 2006 and, this October, I was barely able to pull three OBEs out of the hat. There has been a lack of energy, due to changes in work with computer upgrades and recovering from this last summer's house projects.

No matter how many experiences one has, quality rules over quantity. In this experience that I will share, I was able to video tape, communicate with my three Scottish Terriers "Leroy Brown, Kya, and Spirit" and obtain an OBE precognitive validation.

A few weeks ago, I asked for a sign, turning inward with prayer and honesty. I didn't go looking for the sign, as it arrived unconditional this month and found me. The first sign occurred where my wife, Katie, and I met a couple attending a Christian workshop where there were metaphysical instructors. The second sign arrived when Katie and I were driving with the GPS guide "Tom Tom" to the metaphysical instructor's home address. We didn't arrive at the location intended, but at a foster care home called St. John's in Grand Rapids, Michigan. My wife had a volunteer assignment a week before at St. John's home but unfortunately this assignment was cancelled. We eventually found the metaphysical instructor's home, just a quarter mile down the road in a condominium park ironically having the same street name.

The sign that occurred this morning was an incredible gift and definitely left me stunned—receiving validation. A few days prior to this OBE, I was doing a radio interview on a show called APSR Productions and talking with the interviewer, 'Old Hip'. The question was asked from 'Old Hip' about videotaping your physical body during an OBE and how animals would respond. I explained to the radio host from past OBEs, I found on various occasions that my dogs would pick-up on my presence. They would start to bark and eventually this would lead to me being pulled back to the physical body.

So, this morning, I awakened early at 7:30AM to be with my wife, Katie, and see her off to work. It's been a long time since I have been up early and watching my wife leave for work. I decided to conduct this experiment with the video camera recorder aimed at my bed and inviting my Scottish terrier dog, 'Leroy Brown', to snooze with me while trying to achieve the OBE. I actually had no faith that anything would come of this since my energy was low and the lack of OBEs, this month, were bleak.

I went back to bed at 8:30AM and awakened at 10:24AM after a couple hours of sleeping. There were various times I would awake but immediately fall back to sleep. When the OBE false awakening finally occurred I didn't realize that I had projected. My thoughts at the time were sluggish, but very clear, conscious and alert. Upon awakening I noticed Leroy moving closer to me and I started to pet him and rub his tummy. I felt uncomfortable with Leroy because he was rolling around, moving closer and I did not want to rub any lower. In one motion, I rose to my feet with Leroy noticing the other two dogs, Kya and Spirit, running ahead of me. All three dogs ran up the stairs from our basement bedroom into the front living room.


I followed the dogs and when I arrived immediately, I noticed one of the dogs, Spirit, urinated on the front living room carpet, which I wasn't too happy about. I let the dogs out for a bathroom break and to play in the backyard. When looking outside the house, it was raining, damp, cold, overcast and gloomy.

Turning away from the doorway, I traveled back into the kitchen looking at the dinner table. I was looking at my work schedule with days scribbled signifying being checked off. One particular day that I was looking at and thought to be the current day showed 3:00PM with writing underneath. I looked away from the paper and looked back at it still showing 3:00PM.

It still didn't register that I was out of body nor did I question my current status. I continued into the front living room watching the TV. I saw a stunt man sky-diving and landing on a jumbo jet cock-pit. Still, I didn't think much of it and made my way downstairs to the front door. Opening up the door and looking outside, I admired the beauty of the morning day, then immediately losing consciousness returning back to the body.

When I had awakened, I knew that I had projected, but took a little awhile to process the information. I narrated the experience while the video camera was still rolling and also to mp3 audio using the pocket PC. Along with checking on the dogs, Kya and Spirit, they were in the kennel and there were no signs of accidents. Last, it wasn't raining outside—only a bright sunny October morning with slight cloud coverage.

I found it interesting how my three Scottish terriers reacted during this experiment, especially, when no sounds were present inside or outside the house to arouse them. I reviewed the video tape, which I've documented the sequence of events below as followed:

I tried once again going back to sleep and was able to project, but out of a dream becoming fully conscious of the spiritual world. In this particular experience my three Scottish Terrier dogs were not present. Geographically, I found myself riding down the street in a car, stopping at the neighbor's home next door to my parents 200 miles from my current home. I opened the door, let myself into the home and became conscious while looking at my hands, then losing it and returning back to the physical. Reviewing the video for this run, Leroy kept sleeping and the other two, Kya and Spirit, were quiet with no noises in the house.

October 24, 2007 ~ The next morning, I conducted the same experiment with Leroy on the bed and the two dogs, Kya and Spirit, upstairs in the kennel. Videotaping once again, I was trying to place my consciousness into the trance state for this session. I drifted in and out of consciousness, but for the most part the two dogs upstairs kept rattling the cage—making it difficult for me to enter the trance state.

After a couple hours, I gave up trying to project because the dogs were making too much noise upstairs, rattling the cage. I decided to separate the two dogs from each other—wanting to have Spirit upstairs and Kya downstairs. When I opened the door to the kennel and only trying to let Kya out, Spirit immediately pushed herself through the door and escaped. Now, both Kya and Spirit were running in the house away from me while I started to chase after them.

Kya and Spirit ran from the upstairs to the downstairs with me trailing five seconds behind. When I finally reached the bottom of the steps into the basement, I looked towards my left and saw the two dogs cornered. Immediately I noticed that Spirit urinated on the carpeted floor. Frozen with chills running down my spine, I remembered in the OBE, Spirit urinating on the floor. I walked up the steps to the front door opening to find that it was raining outside just like in the OBE—leaving me stunned and in complete awe, silently praying to God and giving praise for showing me this validation!

Key Findings & Comparisons of Physical & Spiritual Validation

•   Leroy, Kya, and Spirit did not bark during the OBE, but acknowledged a presence on video and audio recording.

•   Dogs ran up / down the stairs.

•   Spirit urinating on the carpet floor during the OBE.

•   The weather outside was raining during the OBE.

•   Second time that I projected, the dogs were not in the OBE or in contact with me.

•   Viewing the work schedule and reading the numbers which didn't change. The numbers remained static.

•   Five minutes before monitoring Leroy's, there were no sounds inside or outside the house.

•   Time and duration of the OBE were in close approximation of each other.

•   The OBE was natural, not controlled scientifically and false awakening.

•   The OBE was precognitive, catching a brief window into the future.

•   Fact – record keeping, being consistent, open, and honesty has proven results for past validations. This experience was not coincidence due to past proven record keeping.

It doesn't matter - both sides will always have their theories, but the one who can experience the obe first-hand, come back with validation knows. Talking about it doesn't get the job done, experience on the otherhand holds weight. We don't want to project and take everything as validation, but to test, study, examine, and report our discoveries. Sharing the data deffinitely brings more to the table then just the same ole 'its in the mind and consciousness can't co-exist w/o the brain'.

I like what AM had to say, there's nothing magical about the obe. Everyone can project if they just know "how-to" tune in, have patience, and the iron-will to succeed.

So does any of this sound like to you that the "devil" or "evil witchcraft" doing? Remember the movie "wizard of oz" and how there were two witches. One witch was all loving, helpful, sincere and the other witch was evil, selfish, and jealous. Its the same with anything you approach "intent". How you use this information for love, helping community, building a closer relationship with God, family, friends, spouses, and enhancining your life positively.

The biggest mistake that people make is "lack of education, questioning and making assumptions. Thinking what is "right" for them has to follow the same guidelines for the next person.

There are a million and 1 ways to find God, being a spiritual person - just because one leaves his or her body doesn't qualify as witch-craft.

Excellent experience and it's nice to see that you were able to communicate and make a excellent contact. It reminds me a lot like the movie "Contact" with Jodi Foster making contact with her dad traveling through worm holes into space.

I've also seen the runway and as I project higher, it feels dense and feeling farther away and trailing off to a greater distance.

Interesting how your able to extract this information at clear and precise detail. Not too mention that how and why you would think something like this up... There's too much detail to be denied and qualifies the obe valid.

Read the bible, the holy qur'an, and any other biblical docturen and you will see legitimate communication between god, angels, and the individual who experienced the trance state, false awakening, or obe.

Its all based on "intent" and how you learn, educate yourself and use this information. The deeper you search you will arrive to your own truth. Do the work and don't base everything on judgement.

Proof is in the experience and validating your own concrete claims. Lets not forget that the projectionists don't wear helmets, or get prodded in the chest to achieve this level of consciousness. Also, many of these neurological scientific studies don't take in consideration healthy patients during trauma vs. the dying. I've done my own research for the last three years and whole heartdly tracked times, what I ate, amount of sleep, categorizing the experience. I've seen a constant value that the obe's occurr close to each other monthly to yearly, amount of sleep is a factor, and validations. The results are impressive and are natural.

I do think science might find the key to allow 'us' successfully reproduce anytime at 'will' the obe and allow us to connect with the spiritual body and that will change a lot. Still never less, there will always be that debate - science, religion and spiritual projectionists. There is so much science can't explain and will never be able to.

As we explore deeper into space finding water where it can breath life... just imagine!

It is true that you can have a out of body experience while intoxicated, wasted, high etc.. but your focus, concentration, awareness, and consciousness will suffer greatly. You will have visions, interesting experience but in the long run it will slow you down mentally and physically.

It's not worth it... the reward is the awakening..

Someone was telling me that awhile back about nicotine patches and how they can produce vivid dreams. This would be the opportune time to explore the obe, document, track, and detail the experience.

I don't take any medication at present, but I know if I have to take a tylynol pm or benadry, my chances at obe are next to nothing. I think it depends on how the medicine works and causes drousyness which will be a barrier until your able to work with it to obe.

A radio interview that I was on a few months ago, someone asked me that question. I think first and furthermost, seek medical treatment first and your health to get better. You still can project and I don't think nothing bad of it will come. It might just tirey one out more physically and energy will be lacking.

From a avid experienced projectionist view, I can offer the following questions to be answered:

--ive been away for some time, trying to live more in teh real world these days 
I live in the real world too - pay bills, am a loving husband, hard working, hospice volunteer
companion to the dying, college grad, professional IT consultant etc.. Balence is the key
between both worlds. I know your kidding around, it does come down to balence of both
spiritual and physical.

--this may seem like an obvious question, but im wondering- why do people try to project?
spiritual understanding, growing, and education of life & death. Back in 1987 when I first started
it was to find out if life after death does exist. Experiement with alternate realities, explore
and peek into women's locker rooms.. Now, 20yrs later it's been a major shift to opening up,
caring, and giving back love to the world. Church, hospice work, friends, family, on-line forums

--are you hoping to achieve/ learn somthing?
I still have a long way to go, but I am getting there little by little. Again, it comes with projecting and opening up. Not just about going on a wild fantasy trip, but being taught from spiritual angels, guides - how to help physical or non-physical souls.

--is it a form of escape from the real world?
both worlds are real so there is no real escape. define real.. when you dream of something that becomes physical tangible with validation even at point of the idea it was a thought. hence, where our consciousness resides in thought that we bring to a physical tangible material object. so if i dream of my yard fence to be stained i can take action on that thought or just dream about. the two are the same.

--is it for kicks?
in the begining, it was a calling to something greater that i could learn, as if i have done this before and wanted to know more. kicks, showing off, secret hidden power is not what it's about. it's how you use the information personally and external in the physical and astral.

--why do we do anything i suppose!
i am a musician, writer, composer.. i enjoy collaborating, playing and expressing emotion, creativity through music. i'm also a professional IT consultant and enjoy the technology and my job. it has taken me a long time to arrive at this and i still have a lot more to learn.. life is a never ending learning experience and we must challenge ourshelves to be better with the resources we have available. when we pass from the physical to spiritual we don't stop learning...

In order to have truth, you have to go after it and find out for yourself personally. You don't need to be sold into wanting to believe, it has to be experienced repeatdly and see the progression. Just because you say the earth is round, I have to challenge that and find out, study, learn, and see for myself to draw conclusions. When one learns about the obe, digest as much that you can, be humble about it, educate yourself but even more - experience it and grow.

God, Allah, Great Spirit Eagle = one, its all a matter of culture, traditions, race, and worship that the different religions see God.

A good friend of mine "Matt G." who's responsible for my interest in out of body experiences moved to George a 4-5 years ago.

Just recently, we started communicating via email, catching up on the past and discussing spirituality.

Back in 1994, I met a friend from on-line "Paul C" that lived in Georgia. We both are interested in the rock band "Rush". We saw band's opening show in Pensacola, Florida 01/18/1994.

A few years later, Matt and I took a week's vacation driving down to the south, visiting friends of mine that I've met on-line. One of the stops was meeting my friend Paul C. in Georgia. After the vacation was over, Paul and I remained friends and drifted from communication.

On 07/12/2007, I looked Paul up on the internet and was able to locate his web site and email him. We discussed the new Rush album "Snakes and Arrows" and playing catch up of the past.

Paul had asked me about my friend Matt and if we still communicate. I explained to Paul that he now resides somewhere in Georgia, not certain or know location. I did tell Paul that I had Matt's email address. I sent an email to both Matt and Paul so this way they could communicate.

Days later on 7/20/2007, Paul emailed me back stating in his letter that Matt lives about 2 - 10 miles from him.

The results and experiences are impressive in its own right and hard to ignore that an after-life exists or something is behind the scenes. Tracking this data has painted a clearer picture, well documented along with personal validations that I'm able to support my claims in each journal entry. 

In my latest experience, I didn't have to go into a trance state, leave the body, or validate a physical to non-physical event. What had happened is that I made a small request during energy meditation calling out to my grandmother who has passed from this physical plane to the spiritual plane. I asked my grandmother "Ann" to show me a sign, something that I can validate and know for certain that there wouldn't be any discrepancies or dismiss it as passive to this request. What I wasn't ready for is what I requested.. and I received a lot more than just a 'coincidence'.

Going back a few months 5/01/2007 I started up on a project at home power washing a deck and the fence, preparing it for to be stained. This whole process of power washing took one month, at least 2-3 hours a day. During this process, I started to think ahead of schedule and looked around the neighborhood of other house fences and decks that are stained. This would give me ideas what the other stains would look like that I could choose for my own fence and deck project.


I managed to take a few snap shots around the community of other homes with their fences and decks with my pocket pc camera. On my way to work, one of the houses a few blocks from my home I would drive past every day. I noticed the stained fence this neighbor was using and knew this was the color for my home project.

After a few weeks had passed, I decided to conjure up the strength, write a small note, and place it in the neighbor's door. This note was requesting information about what product, color, and where this stain was purchased.

A couple of weeks went by and I didn't hear anything from this neighbor and decided that 1. He thought this was a sales solicitation or  2. The note might have blown away and never acknowledged. I decided to let this go and continue power washing with my project at home.

Did the story end after this? No! Weeks later, I decided to sneak up to the home with my pocket pc camera and snap a few photos of this fence. This way I wouldn't be bothering the neighbor and I would have something as reference when color matching at the local store. After I snapped the photos, I started to think that I'll try one more time, leaving a note with my phone # for the neighbor to call me. What did I have to lose? Second time was a charm and the neighbor "Tim" called me with the information that I needed. Tim also invited me to his home for any further questions that I had. Tim mentioned that this was a Redwood, Olympic Oil Stain that was purchased from Home Depot. I never called Tim back and would eventually lose the information he had left as a voice message on phone.

Weeks later, late in June, I drove over to Tim's house, knocked on the front door and was greeted. I noticed while waiting at the front porch, on a table someone was  reading the 'Quran' bible. After I had finished the NIV Bible, I started to take interest in exploring Muslim religion and rented a few audio cds from the library on the Quran bible. I thought to myself "Interesting Coincidence" and didn't think much of it after that.

Tim walked me through his house and into his backyard where I was impressed of the landscaping that was done and how well kept and clean. It almost looked like photos you see in Good Housekeeping and Botanical Gardens magazines. "Very impressive and a well done job" I said to Tim. We than walked over to the fence, and he went into a few details how long it took him to put the stain on, and the specifics of staining. Tim also showed me his the tool shack that he constructed which reminded me of a miniature white gingerbread house. I left Tim's home with excitement and with a energetic feeling, almost as if there was a sort of a connection. Still on my way from and to work I had feelings of connection as I drove past Tim's home, I didn't understand.

Moving forward to July 16-2007 at 12:20AM I was working the afternoon shift at work. I decided to take a small break, heat up some food and make my way to the James fund in the store ops department to grab a .25c diet coke from the refrigerator. On my way to this department, I heard someone's radio playing loudly and questioned 1. Did this radio turn on by itself and it needs to be turned off? 2. Is someone working late? I walked over to where the music was playing and a man approached me asking "Can I help you?". I introduced myself, shook hands, and chatted a little bit. The man's name is Jim G. and he explained that he was working late, trying to catch up on some work before he leaves for vacation with his family.

I left Jim to attend to this work and pursued with my own objective. As I was walking to the refrigerator I decided to look at the Merchandising department photos and look for Jim. He was no where to be found among the other employee's. What I did notice is a familiar face in the photo but unknown to me.
I don't know what possessed me to look at the department photos but I did. As I kept looking at the unknown face I started to question where did I see this man before. So I grabbed my diet coke and headed back to Jim's cubical. I asked him if he would indulge me about the man in the photo. Jim explained to me that is my manager, Tim W.!

Immediately, a chill rushed down my spin and a I froze. I realized that this man in the photo is Tim W., my neighbor who's stained fence I took interest in and not realizing he works for the same company as I. Not to mention that I also deliver reports to Tim every other Sunday, not even realizing this is the same man I've been talking to about my home projects.

I work the afternoon shift at present and do not communicate with too many people because of off shift hours. I had absolutely no knowledge that Tim worked for the same company as I, or even given any thought to this. When I walked away from  Jim's cubical with the chills still running up and down my spine. I reflected in thought and said "Thank You" to my grandmother for showing me more than a sign.

This is David A. Warner from IT dept. You won't believe this and I don't want to spook you. I also
hope that I'm talking to the right person. So if I'm wrong, please let me know.

Remember a few weeks ago, when a neighbor was asking you about the stain you used on your fence? Well, ironically that was me and I had absolute no idea you worked for Family Christian Stores. I just started back in Nov 2006 and work in the IT department.

Last night, as I was on my way to the James Fund, I heard some loud music playing. Normally, around 12:25AM everyone is gone out of the office. Well, I decided to check it out, make sure that person was ok, of if the radio was on and needed to be turned odd. I came across Jim G. (I think that was his name) and he explained to me that he was working late. No biggie, didn't think nothing of it until I made my way to the James Fund. I decided (for some reason) look at the department photos and see if I could see Jim G. photo, didn't find him but saw yours.

I asked Jim G. about this photo, because this man looks very familiar. He explained to me that this was Tim W. and he's my boss. It all clicked and I knew! How small the world is!  Please don't feel spooked out about this or I'm following you. Trust me, that is not the case.

It's just one of those coincidences. A big one in itself!

Interesting Facts


1.   Made a request to my Grandmother to show me a sign, proof, validation.

2.   Noticed that Tim was reading the Quran while waiting outside his porch.

3.   Tim works for the same company and not knowing one another.

4.   Jim G. works for Tim in the same department Merchandising.

5.   I deliver reports to Tim's cubical desk every other Sunday.

6.   What motivated me to look for Jim G. photo.

7.   Coincidence/Synchronicity/Validation in one experience.

8.   Tim lives a couple of blocks away from me in the same city.

9.   As I left Tim's home, I felt some sort of connection.

10.   These experiences of coincidence and synchronicities occur monthly.

I agree with DH as well... Everyone has their .2 on solving the mystery of life and death. It basically comes down to personal experience which is held in account for belief/faith and God. I understand about the enriched experiences...

When I wake up, I've three scottish terriers to go out side, play, and eat food. Who made them? Did we, no... evolution and time. What about the planets, oxygen, the moon, sun and all perfectly aligned. Can humans do this? No....

I've had so many validations, coincedences, sychronicities that it's hard to ignore. Something is behind the curtain pulling the strings.

Lately, I've been reading about different religious faiths and it all points to a supreme being. What ever we call it - God, Budah, Alah, Great Eagle Spirit... don't limit yourself and shut the door on a one sided view. Be open to the possiblity, and further more backup your claims with evidence. I've done this through consistent tracking and the data doesn't lie..

Personally for me, orientation means nothing. I've been out so many times and I thought at first was important to achieve this awareness. The only thing that might make a difference is energy and the polarization of the exit into the plane.

Please remember everyone is different and there are a lot of variables behind it. You'll just have to work on finding a technique that clicks with you. Most of the time when you practices techniques, none of them will work but you find
the one by accident...
