Some people will say different things but it means the same.   They think if they say different words it will sell and it sounds special.   It is not anything different.  I agree with what the others said.

The secret to astral projection is persevering with it.   Keep telling yourself you can ap.   Practice meditation and keep practicing.  Find out what works for you and what does not work.    The only way to find out is to practice.   I learnt from my own mistakes.   I did not learn from a book.
Xanth gave you good advice.   If you think you cannot ap, you will not ap.   You do not have to be psychic to ap.   I am not psychic and I can ap.   My goal is to be able to ap whenever I want to.   The only way I can do that is by telling myself I can do it.   By believing I can ap, I am half way there.

I realise everyone is different.   What works for one person may not work for another person.   It may sound strange but I have learnt I have to concentrate on how my mind and head is feeling.   If I do not notice how my mind or head is feeling, I fall asleep.   By being able to notice how my head or mind is feeling is a good indication that I am about to ap.   When my mind starts to relax I ap.

Hi all, I am starting to ap without sleep.   I must admit it has been a lot of work.   I have been meditating most days of the week for months.   I keep telling myself everyday I can ap even when I do not succeed.   There are problems such as not aping at all or I fall asleep.   I keep reminding myself everyday to concentrate and ap.   When I do not concentrate I fall asleep.    If I am tired  I want to sleep.   Tonight before I went to sleep, I laid on my back.   I was meditating for a while but nothing happened.   I imagined that I was at the beach but it did not work.   I turned on my side a bit.   I tried not to get too comfortable otherwise I am most likely to fall asleep.   I was meditating and I waited for ap to happen and I did.   I felt myself moving out of my body.   I felt as though I was being carried away by someone.    Unfortunately I got startled and I woke up.   I have to work on that.   I would like to ap lying on my back.   I can do it but not very often.   it is a lot easier to do when I am lying on my side.   The down side is there is a greater risk of falling asleep.   That is why I keep telling myself everyday several times a day to concentrate.

When nothing works, you have to make it happen.   Practice spiritually getting out of your body.   When you can do it, it is a great skill to have.

One hour is long enough to meditate.   It is no good trying to force yourself in meditating longer as it usually does not work.   I find it boring as well if you do it for too long.   I would suggest to have a break from it for a while then meditate again.   You will have better results doing that instead of forcing yourself.

Would this get the same result as one of those machines?    You listen to a CD such as the ocean.   You can hear the wind, birds and the surf.   You can also have some flashing lights that are close to your eyes.   If this is the same result then it would be a lot cheaper than using the machine.

Lionheart had a very good suggestion.   Another way is to put a hole in the wall so you can go through it.   You just imagine a hole.   Going through walls works but you need confidence to do it.   When I lack confidence I am not able to do it.

Thank you all for your replies.   Are you saying that when we are in the astral it is not real?    If that is so, what is the point of trying to get into the astral?   If everything is fake then why try to ap.   I have read that you can go to real places, see deceased people and meet your friends.  Perhaps you are saying it is our perceptions how we see things.   What is real to one person may not be real to another person.

There is nothing to worry about.   It cannot hurt you.   It is a good sign if you want to ap.   It happens to me.   I do not know why it happens.   I tend to think it comes from the mind.   A long time ago, I changed a figure into a half pig and half man by using my mind.   I do not know why I wanted to do that.

Hi all, when you are in the astral and you see the ocean, city, buildings, landscapes and it looks like what you would see in the physical, is it possible it could come from the mind?   I was talking to someone today and he said the mind is extremely powerful.   You could be seeing things that are not real.   My imagination is terrible.   I cannot draw anything and I cannot imagine things in my mind.   If it came from my mind, how could I see things that are extremely realistic?   What are your thoughts?    A long time ago, I said, now I see a talking brown horse.   A horse appeared and it was very realistic.  The horse was not coloured brown.   It could talk.   Was that from my mind?

You said it, ignore it.   That is the thing to do.   Do not pay any attention to it or worry about it.   Just forget about it and you will be fine.

Hi all, this morning I ap.   I was with someone and he said I am taking you to the police.   I have not done anything wrong and I have never been in trouble with the police.   It did not make sense.   When I woke up I thought that came from my mind.   That was not real.   How do I stop things that are not real?   I think it happened because in another forum they talk a lot about astral police.   I guess it stayed on my mind.

When I feel my mind being more relaxed than normal I ap without having to do anything.   When I get other vibrations that is different.   Perhaps your technique is not working because you do not believe it will happen.   When you are doing a technique try to really think you are doing the technique.  You can feel the rocking or walking or whatever technique you are using.   Try to believe it is really happening.  I am starting to realise that the mind is very powerful.   If I talk myself into ap I can usually ap.   If I have any doubts it does not work.   That may not be you.   There is another way but people do not seem to like doing it.  I seem to get negative responses.   You can spiritually get out of your body.   It is very easy to do.  Your inner self is very loose from your body.   It makes it easy to get out.   If you try that, try to get out all at once as that is a lot easier to do than one arm, one leg etc.

Yesterday I got vibrations.   I thought I will do nothing and let it happen by itself.   That was a mistake as the process just came to an end and I did not ap.   Next time I will imagine I am rocking from side to side and then I will get out of my body that way.   I suggest you experiment different things and see what works and what does not work.

I do not have a problem with my leg.   If I had realised I was spiritually moving my leg I would have got the rest of myself out of my body.   That is the frustrating part.   Falling backwards could be good.   I would imagine when you are falling backwards you are relaxing yourself every time you do it making it easier to ap.   So long as you do not get afraid falling backwards.   If you do that could wreck it.   Try not to get disappointed when things do not work out well.   I have my days when it does not work out as well.   I try to learn from it so I can improve the next time it happens.   When you are disoriented try saying, awareness now.   That might solve your problem.

Your technique sounds great.   Anything will work when you are in the meditative state.   Do not do what I do.   I move my leg around but it feels very real just like my physical leg so I mess it up.  I realise it was my spiritual leg that I was moving.    I have done similar things like that before.   Hopefully I will stop doing that.

You were relaxing.   It could be like meditating.   When I meditate I feel much better and at peace.      I forget about the rubbish what has happened in my life.   When I stop meditating I do not feel as good.   I ride my bicycle and I play mahjong.    I am focused in what I am doing so it also helps to forget about things.   I love what I do.   It feels great.

Can you achieve ap any time of the day by using the CD's or is it just early in the morning?

That is great.  You are doing well.   With a bit more practice you will be able to ap.   You said you stopped as it was feeling a bit uncomfortable.   It will not take you long to ap.
