If it's nobody else's business, don't post about it.  I am probably just going to feed someone else's ego (besides my own :) ) further by paying anymore attention to this.  Ether, I have to tell you that being condescending towards others is probably not the best way to gather fans, and most of your posts here are clearly condescending.  If you want help with something, post something that is truthful and clear.  I know I cannot spend anymore of my own energy trying to decipher your posts right now.

I almost never feel vibrations.  Usually, soon after my body feels numb is when I can project.

Not sure what that thread has to do with suicide.  I'm with Stookie.

This feels like some weird game you're playing.

??????  huh?

I guess I've been doing it involuntarily most of my life.  I only started doing it purposefully in the year or so.  My main purpose is for self-development and seek answers to questions.  Also, it's just fun ;)

Death can symbolize a great change or 'rebirth'.

Also, shooting you in the neck...is there something you need to speak up about?  Or do you feel like you are not being heard about something.

I have a feeling the character that was backed up against a wall is represents a part of you (as does the character with the gun).

That experience of lying next to a being sounds fascinating.  Maybe he is a guide for you?  I'm wondering if you could have been projecting at that moment?

Are you sure that the leg grab was 'unfriendly?'  I know that I have in the past interpreted things that way because they are new and different.

A lot of the scary stuff we encounter has to do with our own fears.

Welcome to Astral Projection Experiences! / Pain?
February 27, 2011, 17:45:18
This is reference to one of my latest projections here  http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/welcome_to_astral_projection_experiences/back_in_the_game_finallyenergy_sensations_during_ap-t33277.0.html

Basically, I had all of the interesting energy sensations touching different parts of my body, but when I felt it was touching my back, I felt like I was being shoved in the kidney area and felt actual pain.  I was not afraid and was not expecting pain.  Even while it was happening, I just thought 'Huh, that hurts,' and I was able to continue the projection for a little while longer.  Touch was the only sense that was available to me at the time.  Anyone have any thoughts/questions on this?

You might try some affirmations when you meditate...something affirming that you are safe...or visualizing a place that you are particularly fond of and feel safe in.  If you do the affirmations long enough, you might find that eventually ASSUME you are same and protected.

I definitely don't subscribe to any of these end of the world theories.  It does look like big changes are happening around us, but they are just changes and a process in our evolution.

I used to be a bit obsessive with worrying about natural disasters, and these things kept me up at night.  It was maybe not as intense as your experience, but I have an idea of what that feels like.  It took me a while, but I had to let go of worrying about the things I have no control over and find the parts of my life that I DO have control over and work on them.

Once fear takes hold, it seems to have a life of its own.  I would encourage you to meditate or whatever practice helps bring calmness to your mind and helps you access that inner wisdom.

Thank you.  I see that book is harder to find than his first one, but I think I might order it.

This experience seems to have opened up the AP door for me quite nicely.  Still wish I could understand what the experience meant.  That is driving me crazy lol

I usually have my longer, more well-controlled experiences if I have time to practice in the daytime, especially mid-afternoon when I start to feel a bit draggy and feel like I could use nap.  It might be worth trying :)

Interesting.  What is the title of his 2nd book?  I have not read anything by him before.  Thank you.

I'd like any input on my last few experiences.  For the last several months, if I am able to AP at all, I go in 'blind.'  That is, I can't 'see' where I am.  I can still hear and feel.  Touch (feels like vibrational energy) has been my main sense.  I used to try to force myself to see, but if I tried too hard, I would end up back in body, so now I just try to go with the flow...lol.  I don't believe I am only in a 'gray or black' zone, as I feel there is much more going on around me, but I am not sure on this.

After a couple of months of not being able to project much (and usually only for a couple of minutes if that), I have had an active week.  I had been having trouble making that leap from feeling like I am going to separate to actually being able to do it, and so I tried asking for help these last couple times.  At that point, I feel what I call 'guide' energy pull me out.  This has worked for me in the past too.  I feel an immediate sensation of being taken somewhere.  I have trouble deciphering when I am 'seeing' a product of my mind or if I am seeing an actual separate entity, but usually if it is something separate, I feel a kind of energy from them.  This guide energy is like that, only that I usually feel that energy coming from behind me.

These past couple of times, though, I have been feeling very intense energy touching specific parts of my body, most of the time in the abdominal area.  It is actually a very pleasant feeling, and I usually come out of it with a feeling of increased wellbeing.  Today, I laid down to nap this afternoon, as that is usually the best time to project.  I kept leaving and coming back, about 6 times.  The last couple of times, I felt the guide energy with me, and I had these intense sensations of energy being directed in different places like before.  However, there was an area on my back (right where the kidney is) that I felt it the strongest for a while.  This time, I actually felt 'pain'.  It felt as if someone were to make a fist and push hard on your kidney.  I'm guessing the pain sensation was a construct of my mind because of where the energy sensation was directed...I don't know.  I was never afraid during any of this.  I always felt safe and okay.

Just wondering if anyone has ever had something like this happen.

So for Valentine's day... I adopted a Gray Wolf (her fave animal) through WWF in my gf's name and she adopted an Eagle (my fave and animal guide) in my name!

So cool.  :D

We get to show each other our love AND save a cool animal!  \o/

Waaaaay better than a box of chocolates ;)

Names are something that always come out strange for me.  I asked one once who they were, and they said "King Cab" lol.  I think it could be just our own interpretation of the energy that does that :)

Could you try a blindfold instead?
#70
Have you considered that this could, indeed, be coming from your own subconscious?  I do believe in other beings in astral, but I have a very difficult time sometimes deciphering if the being is something from my own subconscious or not.  I have found that most of the time the really scary things/beings are coming from my subconscious mind.  They are parts of us that sometimes represent what we most fear about ourselves and others.  They often take the form of people we know and can relate to, and they also can be something our waking mind does not recognize.  While being very scary, they can also be used to learn about ourselves and what we need to work on.

There are many tools you can use when you find yourself in a scary spot.  What Paul mentioned about showing love is one of the best.  I have also turned my arms into 'swords' to confront them, or take on the stance of a superhero.  But sometimes it is just best to come back to your body, because I agree that once things start really going downhill, it is hard to make that switch.
#71
Sorry you are having these scary experiences.  I agree with what Paul said.  Also, it may be your own fear that is changing the good situation into something scary.  I have found that if I become fearful, the things around me turn scary and dark.  It is difficult once you are fearful to change that, but it can be done.  Also, could some of these entities possibly be higher beings teaching you about this?  I have had this happen where something would suddenly feel scary, but I was never in any danger...this taught me a lot about what power I have in that realm.

Thank you Xanth.  I'm going to try this out this weekend :)

Very nice writing Noy.  I think guilt is a construct of the society we live in.  Truly, nobody should feel guilty about loving others.

Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Re: Melatonin
January 23, 2011, 21:36:21
I found that melatonin helps 'relax' my racing thoughts, and, if I'm not too tired to begin with, it helps.  I took Ambien a couple of times.  The problem with that was it knocked me out so completely within 20 minutes.
