I just remembered another technique by Beezlebuub and that is you visualise or imagine that you are at the Pyramids of Egypt.
I would forget about the authors when they say your body has to be asleep.   I think it sounds confusing.   Just think of it as your body is relaxed.   You say your mind is in a very day dream state.   That sounds perfect.  You sound like you are in a position to ap.   Just imagine something and you will be there  or doing that activity.

I did not read your earlier posts.   I should not have mentioned the heart technique as you did not want to know about it.   His main technique was the heart technique.

I googled "astral projection concentration techniques", and only got one technique that said to listen to the heart as you fall asleep.

Any tips?

Thanks.
You could become an expert at listening to your heart beat but that is likely not to get you out of your body.    When I was at the course years ago I spoke to a man and he listening to his heart beat.   He became extremely good at it.   His toes, legs etc became heart beats and eventually his whole body began beating.   I said to him did you ap and he said no.   I always wondered why he did not succeed.   Years later I realise that he still has to get out of his body.

I had fun because I was with other people.   I was able to talk about ap.   I had lunch with them.   I had good times.    It was a long time ago when I did the courses so my memory is a bit foggy.   I remember in the course we were taught Beezlebuub said imagine a noose is hanging around your neck.   When that happens you will be up in the next level.   Later I thought about it and I was not impressed.   I thought if you imagined a noose around your neck it would be awful.   If you became aware that a rope was chocking you how could that get you up into a next level.

I do not think you will like my comment.   The more you think and worry about it, the more likely it will happen.   Fill your mind with other things that interest you.   The more you do that, the better experiences you will have.

You could say I was silly.   My husband kept telling me but I wanted to go.   It was a long time ago.   I do not regret it.   I was with other people and I had fun.   The good news is I learn from my mistakes and I move on.

Forget beelzebub.    Perhaps I should not say that.   I am not helping.   There are better ways than beelzebub.   I did his courses years ago.   I stopped going as I found out it was evil.   I should have known.   His name says it.   It is up to you what you do.   Just my opinion.

I would forget what the book says as not everyone fits into it.   Drinking a glass of water, tea or coffee before going to bed should awaken you as you will need to get up and go to the toilet.    I would not advise you to do that.   My husband has sleep apnea like you and he needs his sleep.    He has to have it or he cannot function very well during the day.   There would be better ways for you to do.

Lumaza idea is spot on.   You will have to learn to relax again.   It will very likely take time to get where you were before so you will have to be patient.   Start slowly and gradually build up your time.   Do it slowly otherwise you could get frustrated and may make things worse.

I agree that if I record myself I would not notice myself having sp.   I would think I was asleep.    I feel I was trapped in my body fully alert and wide awake not able to move or do anything.    We agree to disagree.    There is nothing wrong with that.   This is an airy fairy subject and cannot be proven one way or the other.    Neither or us are wrong.

I think that is great  Lumaza that you use Binaural Beats and Isochronic tones.   There is nothing wrong with that.   I have listened to relaxing music.   Listening to relaxing music helps you to relax.    To be able to relax is one main ingredient towards ap.
I doubt that doctors would agree to give acetylcholine out to people that is meant to treat dementia or Alzheimers.

To be honest I think I would be tempted to take it myself.   It probably would work but I do not think I like the sound of what I read about it.   I read on line that it is treated for dementia and can have side effects.    It sounds like you need a doctors prescription to get it.   You can get it on line so you can get away without seeing a doctor.

I think I was a bit hard saying it was a waste of money.    I would like to say it is great you had a lucid dream.   I am happy for you.    There is no harm in taking tablets if if it not harmful to your health.   In time you will know if it works or not.

I agree with Xanth.    There are pills that are not proven to work.    There are pills that say they can work but do not say they do work.    It is not scientifically proven.   Sounds like a waste of money to me.   Sorry you may get offended by that.

I have had sp.   When I get sp I am awake.   I am aware and alert.   My body is temporary paralyzed.    It only lasts for a short time.

Are visualization skills required to do astral projection?
Please help because I'm unable to visualize things. All I see when I close my eyes is darkness :(
Visualising is not required to ap but it can help.   It does not matter how bad you are at visualising you can just do your best and still ap from it.    I am extremely bad at visualising and I ap from it.

What Bloodshadow said is correct.   You have to be prepared to meditate, mediate and mediate more.    I have occasionally ap from not having any sleep.   It takes a lot of time to be able to ap whenever you want.   That is my goal as well.    I mediate every day when I get home from work and again later on.    I do not always mediate twice in a day but I am getting into the habit of it.

Go along with it.    Do not try to stop it.   You are close to ap.   It happens to me.   I like it when I hear myself snore because I know I am close to ap..

It sounds like you are doing fine and you are getting there.   Keep doing with what you are doing and you will get there.   I cannot say for sure of course.    It happens to me but I am not ready to ap as yet.   I just have to wait and be patient.   If I wait long enough I will ap.   I would not try to spread the vibrations as it is unnecessary.   You can get the slightest sensation and you can ap.

You should be able to ap.  When you get the shivers you will need to do an ap technique to get out of your body.

If you accidentally move do not worry about it as you can still ap.   You have a good chance to ap.  Lie still and have your mind relaxed.
Listening to affirmations is a great thing to do.    Keep doing it even if you do not have any results.   Eventually you will.

It is starting to work again.   I meditate in the afternoons.   That way I am not tired later on.   In the evenings I go out in the back room where it is not comfortable otherwise I will likely fall asleep.   Last night I could hear myself snore which is a good sign.   It means shortly afterwards I can ap.   I had to get up for something and I came back and laid down again.   I was not lying down for long and I could feel this lump moving around and lying next to my legs.   I thought one of the animals is in my room but how can that be, the door was closed.   I thought I would get up.   I was getting up and then I realised I was spiritually getting up.    Then I woke up.   I am trying to see my deceased cat so perhaps that was her.   I went back to bed and slept for a few hours.   I went out to the other room early in the morning.   My problem is I keep falling asleep.   I never had that problem before so long as I concentrated.   I was not tired.   I keep forgetting to concentrate.   I fell asleep and I thought I will try again.   This time I was able to ap.   I breathed very slowly and it was very relaxing.   I could feel myself moving somewhere.   I was traveling but I woke up.   I think where I went wrong was I should have said I can see.   If I can see it is a lot better.   I have been out of practice.    I find I have to keep practicing otherwise I loose my skills.

I like what personalreality suggested and that is:

Maintain just enough consciousness to be aware of the ringing/whining sound in your ears.

I am going to add that into what I do.   By doing that, that will help me to stay focused and stay awake.

What you say is correct.   It is exactly what I do.   I was doing really well but then I stopped.   I was aping without having a sleep first.   It was great that I did it.   I wish I kept practicing.   I guess I did not want to put the effort into it.   Oh well, I am practicing again.   You are right, it takes time.

You are not wasting your time.   Keep practicing and you will get there.   I meditate and keep awake.   I persevered with it and got out of my body.   It works.
