good job on getting out, kalonek.  my first few experiences were also similar to yours.  i've had some more since then and my astral vision is slowly getting better.

your physical body will get plenty of rest while oob.  it should be the same because we are supposed to be ap every night,  just having a harder time remembering it all.

don't hold back w/ any of those questions, dump em all out as soon as possible.   the faster you know, the faster you go. :)

i would think that if you tried to project to one of those sacred places that you would find out why they are sacred. i heard that there are  guys who are drilling some  that pyramid right now.  i think are going to get a surprise.  i havent been following it and don't really know too much about it,   they  may have even gotten through.  as attractive as those places are, i would stay out of them myself.

i'm just as curious as you are about those and if you do get through to some place like that i would love to hear about it.

welcome to the forum.  i'm still learning but i've heard many voices while experiencing sleeping paralysis.  all of the experiences i've had w/ it have been extremely wierd.  i just wrote a post about one of them called ' paralysis bit'.  have u read teh treatise on obe that's on here?  read as much as u can on this site, i'm suer you'll find some similarities.

the voices though, could have been anyone in the astral. do a search on 'the dweller' and see what comes up.  if you consider the experiences you've had to be bad,  this may be related.

the energy building up in the back of your head is something that i'm not famiilar w/.  i belive robert wrote in his book somewhere about certain people having stronger brow centers than others,  and that being the place that they will most likely project from.  he recommends somewhere that if you want to project to a very high level of the astral that you build up massive amounts of energy in your brow chakra.  feelings like your head is about to explode are common for this type of energy work.  i myself have experienced very intense pressure throughout my entire head at times, which made me think my head was going to explode.

fred

it would be a good idea to read the NEW treatise also.  it may help you in that situation.

that's really great that you got to meet her.  some incentive like this should really give your projections a boost.  it's probably like being a little kid w/ a new toy.  you're going to have a tough time not thinking about this, which should lead to more projections.  when your obe memory improves to the point where you can remember the whole experience, it's really going to be something.  definetly keep us posted on all of the future details.  this is really great stuff to read about, especially for anyone who hasn't projected yet. happy for ya.

the real time reference is to the place that you project into.  it refers to what is refered to as the real time zone.  if you do a search on it or read one of the treatise's, you can find out about it.  there isn't really a difference in the projections, but more where you project to.

i believe what most say about man naturally craving knowledge.  expanding our consciousness may be the same thing, or very close to it.  expanding our consciousness through experience (oobe) may lead to a greater amount of knowledge understood faster than reading or learning about something.  directly experiencing one of the few things that i consider to be one of the first steps in expanding our consciousness, instead of just knowing or reading about it,  is also a very  important step in our spiritual evolution.

i believe understanding as much as possible about dreaming to be another important step in expanding our consciousness.

spiritual evolution seems to be the natural way to progress, especially given the time period that we are in.  our physical evolution is now going to be taken care of, so to speak, by the scientists who have cracked all of those genome codes.  we're not going to have to naturally evolve to our climates and conditions anymore, like darwin says we have done.  we are going to be super humans, physically and mentally.

i believe the fun, curiousity, and power are all side effects of this progress.

i believe i know what you are talking about.  about six months ago i was meditating.  i was experimenting w/ some breathing tek's that i read from some website that had to do w/ shamans.  i was trying to slow my breathing down as much as possible.  it was working very well and i was settiling into a very nice trance state.  during my early meditation practice i would frequently  end up inside an astral gateway. i made  a post about another exp i had in one of these a few days ago titled 'tubelike structures'.   i found myself inside one of these very quickly this time.  it was different from other times in the amount of time i got there and the speed in which i was moving through it.  i was taking about two full breaths a minute at this point and was amazed that i wasn't passing out.

the reaction that your body normally has to not being able to breathe (your stomach involuntarily moving in and out)  kept arising because it wanted more air.  if you've ever tried this or had an experience like this you know what it feels like.  i found a way to ignore this and slow my breathing down even more.  it took some effort but i made the spasms go away.  still inside this gateway, i saw a faint white light ahead.  it grew steadily brighter and closer.  from my experience, these gateways don't go straight for very long, their are twists and turns all of the time.  no matter what direction i was headed, this light was always there.  after about a minute or two of me trying to get to it,  i decided i wasn't able to unless i slowed my breathing down even more.

at this point i'm barely breathing, but not afraid to breathe slower.  the slower i would breathe the brighter and closer this light would get.  i slowed myself down to the point where i wasnt breathing anymore. this was probably a bad idea, for health reasons, but i decided that the worst that would happen is i would just pass out.  after about thirty seconds i found myself inside this light and as soon as i crossed the threshold, i saw the most magnificent sight i've ever seen.  it's indescribable, and trying to put it into words just takes away from it, but i'll try.

what you wrote above reminded me of it immediately.  there was a great whooshing sound and it looked like i was in this enormous tunnel made out of thousands of shades of blue, purple and white.  i'm not even sure it could be described as a tunnel because of it's  vastness.  all i could see were these beautiful colors, and was flying through them.  try and imagine star wars or something like that, when a ship goes into hyperspace.  cover almost your entire field of vision w/ more stars so that there isnt' any black.  replace all of the stars w/ these different shades of blue and purple.  in between some of the colors imagine white. imagine yourself flying through them at an incredible speed.  this is as close as i can come to a good description.

i had either lost track of or left my body. i felt like a point of consciousness.  this was before i had done any reading on anything like this and didnt have any prior input about 'us' actually being a point of consciousness,  but this was what immediately what came to mind.  i looked around and saw what looked to be other points of consciousness flying past me at even greater speeds.  they were just little balls of light.  one of them stopped next to me and i felt like it looked at me or was cking me out.  it only stayed for a second and then sped up.

the feeling that i got from this is kind of like what you described above.  it was exhilirating.  i must have reached my limit w/ not breathing because i think i passed out.  i didnt break consciousness but found myself lying instead of sitting.  the vision slowly faded and i could see the room around me through my eyelids.

i repeated this two more time w/ the same results.  the last time i believe i held my breath way longer than i was supposed to or should have because i got an awful pain my chest.  i looked down and it looked like my heart jumped out of my chest half an inch.  i actually saw a very big bulge pop out of my chest twice, very fast.  i was extremely scared and thought i was having a heart attack.  i'm not sure if this my actual heart or my etheric heart, but it scared me enough to make me stop.

the next few days i tried to tell some friends what happened but most of them are not into any of this.  i havent tried to slow my breathing down too much since then.  this was by far the most awesome experience that i've ever had.

#508
i would say that's normal.  have you ever caught yourself reacting the same way someone else did in the movie that you were watching, or book you were reading?   being very focused on something can really suck you in.  what we perceive dramatically affects how we feel, and how our body reacts.  even subconscious perceptions, maybe even especially those, are going to influence us.

i dont recall if that happened to me when i was starting new or not.  it took a few weeks for me to convince myself that what i was feeling was a direct result of the new and not my wishful thinking.

after about two weeks of me practicing new, i had an incredible surge of energy rush up through my legs and heard and felt several loud pops.  this kinda pushed me over the skeptics edge as far as a lot of this stuff is concerned.  i was and still am, a big skeptic on anything i haven't experienced yet, but this has made me want to follow through to find out, instead of instantly dismissing.

we all know about the whole interconnectedness of everything.  this means our minds too.  i believe we are all telepathically connected.

these  'coincidences'  or not,  should actually be happening all over the place, and more frequently.  if re-incarnation is possible, next time it would be nice if i was born into a time where there were more believers than skeptics. it would be nice to never have  ignored these abilities, and had to learn about them at twenty three.

that's great that you are developing so well.

i thought about that at fist and then kept coming to the conclusion that i wouldnt be grabbing at my feet, or massaging them. i'll eventually figure it out when i get out.

i dunno how scared i m about trying to communicate w/ my guide(s).  i believe i'm more stubborn and won't actually try to until i can consciously exit, consistently.  i want the first time i communicate w/ them to be face to face so to speak.  it's tempting though.  a good portion of the day i do spend listening for things, but i don't provoke conversation, i just kinda listen.

i belive it would be perfectly reasonable to say that the physical could be affected by oobe.  i believe it's already pretty much a known fact that the physical and astral worlds have always been affecting each other.  we exist right now on more than just the physical, and from where we are now, we can affect the astral.  putting aside the huge debate of what is meant when we say 'i' or 'me', if we were born in the astral and found a way to project into the physical, maybe we'd all be talking about how crazy it would be to affect the the astral from the physical.  this is something we already know can happen.

also i believe that maybe the astral shouldnt be so seperated from the physical.  we're all just so used to only being in the physical and only knowing about the physical that it maybe seperates existance as a whole.  all of existance....exists. maybe  the different levels of existance have been made into levels,  just to make for better comprehension.  i think of it as more it's all one level and we're just where we are, whenever we're there.

an outlook like this would probably also help in projecting, in knowing that the astral is not far at all, but right there (here).

but what or who should i think this is ?

#514
that's a crazy exp. i belive i would have handled those guys w/ the horns the same way. i kind of like being a hardhead when  it comes to the confrontation scene. did you go along w/ them to the elevator?

that part about them jumping into your body, may be one of the only things that would have made me leave too.  i believe  i'd be alright w/ a few good fights but that's a little different. anyways... good exp. :)

hey mathias, welcome aboard.

this is definetly the place you want to be if you want to do this right.  after all of the places on the net and the various books i've read, robert bruce and the rest of the team seem to have come up w/ the best book and site concerning any of this.  there isn't anything you can't find on here to help you progess.

maybe do a search on remote viewing and see what comes up.  it sounds somewhat similar to what you are referring to.

what kind of psychic attacks have you experienced?

Welcome to Astral Chat! / ahh my ear

i just got over what i consider to be the worst toothache and the worst pain that i've ever been in. i've needed a root canal for a while, and after a series of dentist appointments i finally got it fixed.  the time in between was horrible. the pain was so bad that it reached from the left side of the top of my head, down to about mid chest.  it felt like  i was being stabbed, everywhere it hurt.  before i got the vicodin prescribed to me, i found refuge in lying there and doing NEW to the point where my entire body would tingle like crazy.  it definetly numbed the pain.  it kind of spread it all over my body but lessened it the more it spread.  anyway, it made it bearable.  the vicodin however, took it almost completely away. :)  they also put me right into a full trance when  i stopped moving. the energy sensations were incredible.

Welcome to Astral Projection Experiences! / paralyzed
September 28, 2002, 20:44:28
everytime i've been paralyzed it has been accompanied by something extremely strange. i've posted a few on here but haven't gotten any responses that i was happy w/. it's pretty unexplainable so far but those experiences have been the wierdest i've ever had.

#522
from what i've read, it's all the same. i belive robert says in ad that you cn make weapons as long as you can maintain enough focus to keep them created. as soon as you stop thinking about them they dissapear.

the more i read this thread the more i was expecting to see some joke at the end of it .  metaphsyic, u are serious?  this isnt a challenge,  this is a completely shocked response. i'm having a very hard time believing this.  i have more questions but will wait to see if this is a joke or not.

water is the way to go.  if you usually throw up the next morning, eat a banana the night before.  i found  out accidentally that bananas taste better coming out than they do going in. i know it sounds gross but when i was vomiting it tasted  like a banana slushy was coming out and not anything bad at all. it actualy tasted very good. :)
