I am glad it is working for you Lionheart.  You must be feeling fantastic.  It would be such a good feeling to know that you can get into the trance state.  Can you get into the trance state any time of day you want and how long does it take you to get into that state?  Thanks for letting me know.

Just believe it will work and eventually it will.  You may have to keep saying everyday for a while, I believe I can do it.

That is a mistake I was starting to make.  I was worrying about it taking too long.  If you worry about it, it will only make things worse.  We have to not worry about it and accept how short or long it takes.  Whatever happens, happens.  The main thing is that we do ap.

That is very true Stookie, we can be mistaken for the real thing.  I could be wrong.  I think if you do not try and force the vibrations it should be the real thing.  I say that because years ago when I used to go out on an ap course, someone I spoke to who was a teacher was an expert in getting the vibrations but he was not able to get out of his body.  He was able to get  heart beats all over his body and did an excellent job doing that.  He could hear and feel the heart beats.  I said to him, do you get out of your body doing that?  He said, no.

That is good advice, pretend that you are asleep and it is no good good if you try too hard.  It does not matter if we fall asleep.  I admit it can be a bit disappointing.  If you fall asleep, then you can try again when you wake up.  I think it is easier to ap when you have had a sleep because your mind and body has rested or more relaxed.

How exciting for you to have a fair like that.  You would always have something to look forward to.  The singing bowl sounds amazing.  I am looking forward hearing more about it.

I am not able to explain about the spiders.  Perhaps you were half a sleep.  Whatever it is, you and your wife know that they were not real.  I would try to forget about the spiders because if it is on your mind you are likely to see them again and you would be worrying about it.

Try not to get upset when your wife ap's and does not even try.  That used to happen to me a long time ago but not any more.  I have to make an effort for it to happen.  She does not seem to be worried about whether she ap's or not.  I would concentrate on yourself and try to ap and not to worry about her.

I think it is possible to do but I do not think it would be very easy to do.  It could take a long time.  A hypnotherapist would be a better option.

I just remembered.  Provided I do not try to ap in bed I am able to ap quickly or it can take a long time.

Mostly it is very quickly, just a few minutes if I practice in bed late in the morning.  If I practice other times during the day, I mostly cannot ap.  Occasionally I have ap in the afternoon and it did not take long.  I did not have a sleep first.

Sometimes it works and sometimes it does not work.  When you get the vibrations and it does not work, I think it is because your mind is not relaxed enough.  When that happens I do a technique such as jumping.  I jump right out of my body.  It happens very quickly.  It is easy to do.  You could try the rolling out technique.  You will have to experiment and see what works for you.  I have never experienced the heat that you say you get.  Perhaps that is a vibration.  If it is a vibration then it probably will not happen again or for a while so I would not worry about it.

There can be times when we astral project and what we see may not be real some of the time.  Parts of it can become like a dream.

Keep saying to yourself I can easily get my head out.  Keep saying it every day even if you find it still hard to get your head out.  It is probably on your mind that it is hard to do so it becomes very difficult.  It has happened to me a long time ago but it was not my head.  I eventually got out but it was a struggle.  Now it is extremely easy to get out.  I always tell myself that it is very easy to get out.  That works for me.

Hi all, does anyone try to ap during the day?  Some people have a nap then they ap.  I am not able to sleep during the day.  I used to be able to but not any more.  If you do ap, do you relax yourself first and does it make a big difference to you?  I am not able to ap during the day.  I suppose I could if I was prepared to spend hours waiting.  I do not want to wait that long.  I do not relax myself when I practice during the day.

It is great that you can ap whenever you want to.  I suppose I can to but I need to be able to ap without taking too long.  I do not want to be waiting for hours to ap.  I think if I want to ap during the day I am going to have to spend some time relaxing myself before I try to ap.

That is right.  When you have separated then open your eyes.  Your eyes may already be open when you are out of your body.  You may or may not remember your experiences.  I found it is a good idea to look around for a while and notice what you are looking at.  If you do that it is more likely you will remember things.

I agree with nickspry.  That was what I was trying to say.  It will not be easy to do.  Hypnosis would be a better option.

I would advise not to get too focused on that vibration.  Next time you may get different vibrations.  You might hear sounds, other things may happen or you may not get anything.  If you get no vibrations you can tell if you can get out of your body as your body usually feels different or your mind will feel different.  On this forum people like to phase.

Well done, you were about to ap but the cat distracted you.  The only thing you had to do and that was to keep doing what you were doing.  I imagined rolling out of my body and flying upward to look at my body.   You would have been out.
