Actually I do believe in the Big Bang, the one that helped to create or did create our galaxy/solar system.  The forming of the sun or so forth.  But life on earth could have been several different things.

I do not believe we came directly from apes, but rather a primate type creature.  Hence still the existance of the normal ape.  But also if you look, for almost every animal there are several to thousands of different sub-species.  There not nessisarily one that is better or more evolved but evolved in a different way.  Humans are a prime example of this. We all have the same "basic"  structure, but you look at all the different regions where people are and you can see the difference in evolution give the location of primary growth.

That does change things a bit.  I myself am an empath.  I find it a fun but some times troubling ability pending the individual.  I also tend to not believe some of the things that I get because I still find it a little wierd at times.  And some times I wonder if it is me doing it or the other person.  Some times I wish they would make a multi-meter that would read this kind of stuff.

"Generally I get thoughts from people in conversation, or just sitting next to them. I have checked this by answering questions or curiousities that play across thier minds. I don't do that anymore, its made more than one person a little edgy. I try not to pry, someones mind is their most private thing. Around other people with skills, I have had "exchanges". Depending on the person, it varies from imaging to speech, but without the confines of words."

That is the fun part about it.  I also try not to pry but I can often tell when some one wants to know or say something but are timid about it.  It is fun to say certain things and have a person just look at you with this total look of suprise which is often followed by the question, how did you know.  But so far I have not run into any one with the same skill as myself or you, if I have I did not know.  I have been looking for some one though to see if I can communicate in this manner since I am not yet strong enough to project the thoughts into another for them to hear.  Itwould be easier if some one could read me and I inturn read them.

"When I send out awareness it seems I can expand it in a full circle, though behind me takes more active concentration, or directionally. A 30-45 degree arc in front of me seems to work the best. This is with or with out relaxation, just a little concentration. It is stronger when I meditate, though.

I do this aswell but for me it seems the back is a little more responsive since I can easily see who/what is in front of me.  I would like to know a little more about the method you use.  I myself basically just push out a bubble as far as I can and feel for vibrations or shifts in the feeling.

The questions springs mostly from this thought.  It is believed heavily that entities from the astral can physically manifest themselves on the physical plain.  So logic to me says that if a person can some up enough "will" or energy than they could bring some thing back with them.

"I myself am of the logical, rational sort. I used to be atheist, but once I started delving into metaphysics, I could no longer deny the existence of SOMETHING. Events happened to me that convinced me of a higher order working in my life."

You see Bismart that is the problem.  I can only believe what I know, feel, experience, and can prove.  I have had none of these things point me towards creation or god.  It would be so much easier if I could say I was wrong, but I don't feel that way.  My thinking and logic do not allow for things I have not experienced.  And I personally feel there is more evidence for evolution than there is for creation.

"I am at a place on my learning curve where I "reach out" with my energy, can get impressions from other people/places (no sight/sound, but visual and audio impressions). I realy do not need trance to do this on a light level, just a little concentration. When I am relaxing, my trance level feels very light. I don't feel like I am leaving my body, because I maintain a (limited) level of awareness where I am. I have been "snapped back" before, which to me resembles the same effect as Astral projection."

Sounds like RV or remote viewing.  Much of emote viewing is emtions but it is often heavily laced with things like, intent, thought, ideas.  IE you may not just feel that some one is scared but you might hear them say it as well and feel the emotion in thier voice.

"In this "awareness shift" state, I am able to accomplish much including defense, attacking unwanted influences, connection & a sort of "emotional comunication" with the other person. Much like telepathy, I guess."

Last part "emotional communication"  is called Empathy, not Telepathy.    Empathy is almost totally emotion or are images/sounds that are highly emotionally charged.  How ever true empaths have difficulty with attack and defense because they can feel so much.  It can be difficult to turn off.  But I do not see why not partial empathy or gained would not be controllabel in that nature.

Question:  Have you encountered this while you were awake and say talking to some one?  That being the most common timeing.  The next question being do you know the people you have been getting this from? (family, really close friend)

Welcome to Metaphysics! / Memories AAAH
June 09, 2002, 03:01:44
You can not erase a memory with any thing short of a labotomy, but that would take care of several othings aswell.  Even if you choose to forget the memory is stil there and you never know what might trigger it's reappearance.  And they are normally much stronger when this kind of thing happens.  But however if you do deal with it you can forget it after and it will not resurface because it is no longer an issue.

The problem with trying to do self hypnosis with some thing like that is the fact by its mir practice you are recalling that memory and dwelling on.  You are putting so much effort in to trying to forget you can do nothing but remember because that is where your thoughts are.  Even with a full blown hypnosis session or two you can not erase the memory and it is possible for it to come back, and even more the danger would be losing all memories or the ability to form new ones.

I think of sacraficing in a slightly different way.  Like Fenis mentioned more of a changing of habits.  It is not so much you just go well this is not helping me do this and stoping.  It becomes too dificult to let go and becomes a sacrafice.  But if you instead look at some thing you have or do and ask, "Why do I do this?"  "Why do I need this?"  "What is it's meaning or purpose to me?"  "Do I need it or do I enjoy it?"  "If I enjoy it  then why?"  "Am I using it to replace something else?"  And so on.  People would find it much easier to let go of a lot of things if they asked these kinds of questions about things.  When doing so you begin to realize that certain things that you cling dearly to hold no value and so you can discard them with out pain and with out sacrafice.  But unfortunately you can not do this until you are ready, some one can not do it for you, ie. ask you those questions.  People tend to get mad when some one does that.
So it becomes not so much a sacrafice but a realization.

Thank you for your responce.  At least you believe because you had an experience, not just because you were told.  That is the only thing that really bugs me.  People who can believe in some thing so fully with out any kind of experience or feeling.

"For solid proof, look at things like the core samples they are taking of the earth. At one point, the whole earth flooded. This is seen in the sedimentation. Something that is interesting, is most scientists trying to "re-create" life from scratch also believe in the divine."

Actually for a lot of scientists the idea of a global flood was not in question most of the time.  But I know the real question for them is when.  A sudden rise in temp causeing the polar caps to melt would then cause the Ice Age.  Eventually the caps would reform and balance restored.  What they are really interested in about this is was there a great flood before or after the Ice Age.  This would point very heavily in one direction or the other as to the truth of certain major events of the bible.

"i know that there is more to existence than the physical -but god? seems so far advanced from where we are that we should not even speculate. i was just in a used book store- so much on the subject-rudolf steiner wrote volumnes, the urantia book, eastern guru's by the dozens, it was enough!!!!!!! buddha was smart-he would not even go there. my favorite poster from the sixties was the big smiling face of meher baba with DON'T WORRY-BE HAPPY at the bottom.
to make it even more complicated some people think we were created by an alien race!"

So do you understand my asking the question?  You seem to be a like minded individual so let me ask you this.  God create the universe? God created man?  The average person might say yes.   So did God create aliens?  Or did God just create Earth or the Milky Way?   Here is my thought.  Many people tend to believe and say that "aliens in general" are far more advanced than us both technolically and spiritually.  Technologicall I can see this.  Spirituall no.   I look at it this way, "if" God created the universe he created aliens, and if they are so spiritually advanced they would know this concept as well, correct?  So why all the abduction stories of rectile probbing and wierd experimentation?  Would they not think that we are all Gods creatures and in would be bad to treate any thing in that manner?  This leads me to think that well if they do this because they found out that there is no God.  Or he did not create them, and if he did not create them then he did not create the entire universe.  What if he create just the our galaxy?  Then either A) there are a multitutde of Gods out there= number of known galaxies, or B) God is or was a living creature capable of creating such life=technologically advanced, or God is an alien, as in we came from another planet or civilization.  But you know in the end it is going to be the least likely answer.  Things of this magnitude always are.

See that would normally pose a problem for since I usually use travel time to think on things.  I would most like end up standing in one spot for an hour.  But I do something similar when on break at work.  I will just sit there with no thoughts and look at stuff.  If I start to think then I look at something else.

Ahh, but how long did it take the human to figure out how to make a watch?  Or a computer?  It is only a matter of time.  Just because we can not do some thing now does not make it impossible.  Eventually we will evovle and we will be able to do this and then it will be common knowladge.  If you told some one 100 years ago that we could fly in space they would have thought you crazy.  And now it is done.  People used to think that if you went more than 25 MPH in a car you would turn into to liquid.  At that time they understood less.  And now wecan travel hundreds of miles per hour. We learn more of the human body every day.  That is why we can live the way we do now.  Medicine, surgery, vent machines, artificial hearts, prostetic limbs, the more we learn the closer we become to being able to create life not just sustain it.  We know enough about the nervis system that we can re-attach severed limbs but it was impossible 10 years ago.

But I can tell things are starting to get touchy so let me say this.  Yes it is possible that I am completely and totally wrong, but you must accept that it is possible that so are you, and that it is possible that WE are all wrong.  This all being the wonder of abstract thought.

Now let us step back and see what else Tyrone has in store for us.  Well Tyrone you wanted to stimulate thought and debate.  Well done.

"One thing I think many of us who read this must keep in mind is the warning proponed by many, including Mr. Bruce himself, about sticking to the basics before trying anything extraordinary or radical. SOmetimes going too far ahead can have detrimental effects....RObert talks about this in NEW..."

Yes but have you ever had the feeling you were just ready for some thing?  Not that it just sounded like a good idea but that you knew it was the right path?

 Anyhow, after further investigation.

It seems that although still unable to manipulate these sources by tapping them I have been able to re-awaken my ability to dream.  This is only one possability since I have also been doing other work towards this, but since I started doing the above mentioned I have started dreaming again on what seems to be a regular basis.  We will see if it continues.

"If one walks down a beach how long would he have to walk before stumbling upon a fine swiss watch? Would a fine Swiss watch ever simply organize itself out of the sand with time? I think not. Not even in a million yeas, nor a billion years, nor a trillion years... How, then, do trillion cell organisms like us just appear from blue green algae? "

No naturally something like that would need to be made.  However that which is alive and functioning does not need that complex of a creation.  You look around nature and everything seems to adapt for a perpose.  This is simply seem in all life.   There became an over abundance of some kind of fuel (food) or what ever and some thing starts to minipulate it and by doing so starts to change itself.  Evolution takes its course and a few thousand generations later you end up with some thing that is able to manipulate the fuel to a far greater extent than its predisessors.

"The second law of thermodynamics states that all things run down, in other words everything naturally becomes less organized with time. Nature fights against evolution...even the most die hard darwinian will admit that nothing in evolutionary theory can explain this. "

I believe this very simple to explain.  Every thing will eventually out live its usefullness.  This being as a form of life evolves to manipulate its food source eventually it becomes so good at it there becomes an over abundance of that life form.  Then some thing else sees it, or a by product of it as fuel and learns to manipulate it and grow.  The chain starts over.  Or even they become so heavily over populated that it simply comes to pass that there is no more fuel or food.  Unless that form of life learns to adapt if capable then it will die out, and hence become no more.

We as humans have probably severly out lived or usefullness but given our ability to adapt we have not perished and continue to thrive.  This being because we can and do evolve and continue to do so.  But unless we learn a better methode we too will eventually become much more over populated than we are.  We will end up chewing up ever last bit of the remaining natural resources and we will perish or be replaced by some thing else.  Evolution in full cycle.

"most of my experiences begin with a dream, I wake up in the dream and then let out a "whoop!" and start flying or doing things. Sometimes, not often, I will do something similar to what you have described, I wake up in the dream, then drift back into a dream state, neither awake in the dream, lucid, nor still dreaming, but a collusion of both. I am not sure if that is what you have described though... ?? do you man an OOB but dreaming that you are OOB?"

Close but it is a dream of an OOB, not a realy one I don't think.  It fit in with the dream and didn't feel any different from the dream.

Tyrone-
"When I mentioned creation I really had to be delicate with it, as there was no beginning, there was just an alwaysness. Only the finite mind needs to cling to the idea that there was a beginning, but there was not. People will believe in infinity from now on, but they cannot accept to have allways been. "

I do not believe that we have always been here.(big bang)  And I do  not believe that man was created or has always been here.  (evolution)  But I believe in the possability that we, humans, have been aware considerably longer than what is generally known.  This being recent discoveries that have been made with in the last 5 years.  That keep finding things that date back long before what was orginally thought.

"So if you do not believe in a creator(s), do you believe in a static omnipotent force that holds everything together? ..in part, where does your energy come from, or the energy force within your pencil? If you believe that there is some major force holding us static and together (whats to keep our molecules from flying apart?) then just dig a little deeper.."

Simply life.  Life creates life in all forms.  I do not believe it was created but rather it just happened one day.  Some thing managed to crawl out of the primortal ooz.  Maybe we came to be because of a meteor hitting the earth bringing with it the first cells that became life on this planet.  Spontaneous combution of a sorts perhaps.  The growing and splitting of cells creates energy in a form and hence the energy that binds all life.

Yeah I have been looking up different material on chemtrails as well.  Art Bell Rules.  But I have not as of yet seen any hard facts about it.  There has been no definate pattern to the phenominon.  Ie.  Trail=rain, or wind or what ever.  Yes some places have been experiencesing some abnormal weather patterns to include us in AZ but it has mostly been linked to the El Nino situation which is a "provable" situation.   Then of course comes in the big question of how can you really prove anything when dealing with a choas science like meterology?  You can only observe and make logical guesses.
Then again you also need to look at the old "salting the clouds" thoery, which is doable but is considerably difficult.  And just a note:  It was called Salting the Clouds but I do not know if they actually were using salt but the idea was that you could force rain given the correct amount of addative was placed within a cloud.  Ofcourse there are several other theories on who and or what is actually going on with the chemtrails.

1.   The US and possibly other national governments to include the former USSR had at on epoint looked to control the weather and spent large amounts of money on the subject.   The US government even published a report entitled "Controlling the Weather by 2025"  Which lists all the advantages and possible problems with engaging on such a path.  War would be considerably easier because the poper weather situation could make one sides troops up to ten times stronger.  But also can the question of wether or not by creating say rain in one location you would in essence be taking rain away from it's normal location and cause a drought there.   Then of course my thinking on this being that if it was the US behinde it would we not have perfect weather and plentiful crops because of it?  The previously stated crop problems would simply not happen.
2.   Then of course there is always the "Black Hand" of the US government that is doing various things to maintain a certain amount of tension to keep there projects going.  But if so we will never hear of it.
3.  Being that its aliens looking to terraform the Earth to a more suitable enviroment for them.  But then why would there be more over the US than any where else?  Granted we have a large military and heavy poulation count but I do not think those reasons for that kind of targeting.

I have several other problems with the whole chemtrail thing.  No one has seen one actually being formed.  Most stories and pictures come from after the fact.  I would have to see one actually being made to believe it was not just a wind pattern thing.  I have sat and watched many con-trails turn into all kinds of funny shapes after with no adverse affects on the enviroment.

I will get off my soap box now.

kakkarot

"first question though: are the dreams you do remember normally about aliens and war?"

No they are normally about sex.  Those seem to be the only ones I do remember.  I have actually had 3 dreams that I am aware of with in the last month.  1 I can't remember, only that I did dream.  1 was of a friends sister that I have not seen in a long time.  And I don't know why she was there or rather why I would dream of her. 3 being this last one.

"second question: did it actually feel like this dream had some significance for the future?"

No it did not feel like it was going to be or did happen.  Like I said it felt like a game at first but I think the only reason I rememebred it was because of the couple of odd things.  I had a thouight that it was more of a warning to current situations but I can not think of how it would tie in.

As is the USA.

There is always a drought some place over hear.  It seems this year Arizona, being a desert, is living up to it.  And I know that we lost a whole bunch of lettuce to a drought and recently we were loosing some other crop because of actually too much rain.  But I think over all we are on the low end of the yearly average.
