How to get into vibrational state?

Hello,

So I have been trying to astral project for a bit now, but all the techniques I find online are stuff to do when you are in a vibrational state to separate from your body. What are some techniques that get you to the vibratory state? I have tried relaxing and focusing on my breathing, not moving at all, and to shift my focus away from my body. But I still can't seem to get into that state at all. Any tips for getting relaxed?

Thanks

Xanth

That's one of the biggest confusion...
You can use ANY technique/method to project.
Ignore the "vibrations"... they're not what you're aiming for anyway.

So when I lay down, I just immediately visualize? Such as the rope method?

You find your focus, then you use that to push your awareness away from this physical reality and your physical senses.  :)

Give that article a read.  Also, give my book a read too if you haven't already.

Hi Shadow. I have a number of techniques that work for me. They all come down to the same things though, which is a strong "focused will and intent". I also "allow" my curiosity to bring me deeper.

The "vibrational" state is not needed, as Xanth says. Not everyone will experience that "signpost". There are many possible "exit" symptoms or signposts as they are called of a approaching shift.

Here are a some great techniques that "may" help you reach that state. Like I said though, they work for me, but everyone is different.

Xanth and Lumaza are both giving you good perspective and ideas for techniques to explore. The techs themselves have worked for many people but more importantly, the underlying mechanisms should become apparent the more you study them and make the attempt.

Another idea that is of great importance is the timing of your attempts. This has to do with a critical relationship between how tired your physical body is versus how tired your mind is.

If both your physical body and your mind are fully rested and TOO awake, then you go nowhere, unless you are a natural or already highly-skilled in the art.

If both your physical body and mind are tired, then you simply slide off into sleep.

If your physical body is very tired, but your mind is trying to remain aware, the likelihood is that you will still be dragged off into sleep. Still, with proper Intent or affirmations, you may come aware within a Lucid Dream.

If your physical body is moderately tired and your mind moderately awake, then the proper balance may be achieved and an exit technique can be explored with varying success. The physical body slides off into sleep, but the inertia is not carried over with dragging down the awareness along with it. The hypnogogic train of visuals can be followed to their conclusion and either an etheric exit or a Phasing exit can be realized. This may take several attempts and a temporary loss of consciousness or 'click-out' might still occur.

This 'ideal' balance of awareness is most often realized during an afternoon nap, a WBTB wake-up in the middle of the night or an early morning wake-up. Every one of us has experienced these moments, we just need to think about them a bit deeper to recognize the mind-state and when they may best uniquely occur for us.

Think about when these moments have occurred for you and what your mind-state was and how it felt. This is what you are looking to re-create: that slightly aware, pre-dream-state that you could fall back into; just this next time, with some more awareness and an Intent.

In and around this mind-state is a balance you need to explore.

Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.

This took me quite some time to learn. What I have found is that many times, lying there relaxing is not enough. I have to give the process a little help. In a nutshell, I start by putting my body to sleep, and get myself into the void state. Sort of a floating in the blackness state of disassociation. At that point, I can sometimes just wait it out and Projection symptoms will come on their own, but usually I have to engage some sort of creative visualization that results in the feeling of movement. The more intense the movement the better. Also, personally, upsidedown movement works well. Flips, summersaults, an imagined loop on a rollercoaster, etc. The rope technique I think relies on this same sort of induced sensation of movement, but has never worked well for me. I do better if I am not responsible for creating the movement. That is why a rollercoaster works so well for me I think. I just go along for the ride and concentrate strictly on the feeling.  That sensation of movement will usually send the vibrations roaring once in that void state.

Shameless plug: After a couple of years working at this I have begun to make quite a bit of progress. I actually created a YouTube channel dedicated to this stuff. Check it out if you like.
