Well I have heard that pirates got their ears pierced to improve their vision. My ear is pierced and my vision still sucks. haha I do not think that piercings have the same effect as the pins used in acupuncture/pressure but I have not studied it much so I am not sure about the actual mechanics of it. I really do not see how tattoos would effect your energy body either, nothing profound anyway. The skin gets a lot more damage throughout our lives than what tattos will do.

I plan to have some tattoo work done someday. Been thinking about doing something with tattoos of chakras on my spine and maybe even getting the "snakes" of kundalini winding up my spine.

I would not worry about negative effects. Positive effects on the other hand I am not really sure of. If a tattoo or piercing draws your focus to a certain area a lot then it would draw energy there as well.

Ink from a ball point pen can bring about profound effects (mole removal, along with pretty bizzare side-effects), as told in Robert's "Practical Psychic Self Defense". I think it's quite likely that tattoos would also be just as stimulating to the energy body.

the circle cuts off energy flowing to the mole, if i remember correctly, so it should be possible to make a tatoo directing more energy to the chakras, or hands, like regulating river i think
i trust willpower more, though ...

fallnangel77 => I was indeed thinking about what pointed sahlyn and daem0n, with the ink and the forms that could "cut" some pathway, like making walls, or on the opposite if done correctly draw energy in usefull places (like in major chakras). For the ear piercing and the vision i had heard that too, and i know acunpucunture uses the same to diminish vision problem in fact. I think too that it's not the same as a piercing, but precisely a piercing is a permanent hole inside the body, so i was just wondering if it could disturb energy (especially in non-common piercings, like in the nose, the brows, the tongue, the lips, the nipples etc)
About the tatoo (one or 2 "t" by the way in english ?), i was thinking about a similar thing as you if i had to do one (or more) on myself, along the spine with the chakras, and the kundalini snake [^] Wierd we got the same idea []

Anyway if someone having a tatoo or a piercing and with NEW background could witness his experience, it would be very appreciated !

Hi everyone !
I was just wondering, as my old lady is thinking about having a tatoo, if thoses types of body art (tatoos, piercings etc) had an effect on the energy body ? I'm rather sure about the piercings (acupuncture etc) but what about tatoos ? It's some kind of penetration inside the skin, so it might also affect the energy body, but in which way ? Do you think a tatoo can increase energy in some areas, or the opposite, have a negative effect ?
