I have read about something the IAC (international academy of consciousness) is doing which is a dome which causes you to project. How do you folks suppose something like this works? I can't really find a lot of info on it. Here's a brief vid on it.

the tone of this forum tends to shy away from any artificial assistance (primarily drugs and mechanical devices).  there is one exception which is sound in varying forms (binurals, isochronics, timers, soothing music, drumming, ringing in the ears, etc.) and i think that sound ties into this dome.  not that they play sound in it necessarily, but there are connections between sound/vibration and sacred geometry, especially a sphere (half of a dome.  look up spheres, the pantheon and sacred geometry).  aesthetically we can't ignore the beauty of geometry, we see it and we love it (the golden ratio in architecture for example).  but i believe there is more going on in regards to the effect of these proportions and shapes on "energy".  the energy inside of a sphere could be uniquely altered in such a way that would be conducive to shifting perceptions of consciousness.  i have sat and meditated inside of a pyramid with crystals in it like the ones Robert Simmons sells:

and felt what i believed to be a different energy within the space.  so in this instance, while i think this "device" could be limiting in some ways (programming a very very unique set of external stimuli that may become needed to project later on if used to much), i feel like the structure is pure and i wouldn't see a problem in using this really neat room to project from.

also, i bet it would be awesome if they had like a light show to project onto the inside of the dome, maybe even something like a planetarium show but just project a moving starfield coming toward you, you'd really be flying in no time.  that would be pretty darn amazing.  or what about a holographic starfield that you actually moved through!
be awesome.

I really like that last idea of yours, PR.

So other than the design of the shape and that it isolates you from the outside world, I don't see how its any different to aid someone to project? maybe we missing something I don't know.

i think the shape is the important part.  for example, when you're in your bed in your room you know the boundaries of the room.  you can feel how high the ceiling is, how far the left wall is away from your bed, where your furniture is, etc.  this is a familiar room to you and you know the layout well enough to "mind sense" it.  this dome on the other hand.  it doesn't really have any defining points.  no corners where walls connect.  no places that give you a bearing of your position.  no real sense of where you are in space.  when the lights are out in that dome you will feel differently than you would in your room.  doubly so if there were sound or visual stimuli also.
be awesome.

I specifically like that.
The Pyramid is supposed to have some nice energy focusing powers.

I saw a documentary on it once... and someone hung a wire pyramid over a basket of vegetables... and the vegetables stayed good for 10x's longer than they should have.
