I had a lucid dream two nights ago and I did some experiments like breaking marble railings and levitating like 20 feet. Last night, I had like 7 lucid dreams and I really messed around like flew onto buildings and all. I thought I was going to slow when I was flying so I landed on the ground and I just blasted off into space. It felt like an instant I was in space. I wanted to go back down so when I bolted down to Earth, I felt like I was sinking back into my body. What do you think that was and do you think I am getting the hand of lucid dreaming?

You're doing Great!

It seems you have an informal Lucid Dream Checklist -- things you want to do when you have a Lucid Dream.   It's great to have fun, but Lucid Dreams can also be useful.

I used to fly around all the time too.  I did find that 'superman style' flying was slow and ineffective.  "magic carpet style", in a lotus position, is much zippier and efficient.

In the absence of a detailed checklist, I simply leave whatever dream action I am engaged in, do an AUM, and then lotus position and levitate up into the Sky, and then allow myself to descend.  Typically, what happens is that whatever SPECIAL DREAM my subconscious or Higher Self was saving up, will be played out when I land.

Did you know that quick or deep breathing will prolong a Lucid Dream.

Some thing you might try in a Lucid Dream are Mantras or various Meditations.  Once in a Dream an Old Guru told me "A minute of Meditation in a Dream is worth a thousand hours of waking Meditation".  You are so much closer to the Core of Your Being while in a dream.

Just doing an AUM is a very powerful experience.   I did a "Hail Mary" ans was swooped up by a Vortex of Energy into Heaven (from where I returned without a memory).

On interesting Lucid Dream I had... remember how I say I walk away from the present dream action.... well this famous Old Guru, Sai Baba of Shirdi, intercepted me and took my arm and brought me over to this Penthouse window, and motioned me to jump out with him.  I figured we were about to fly.  NO!  With this stern look on his face, we dove toward the ground.  I tried to pull out of the dive like an airplane.  But the Old Guru kept us in that grim downward plummet.  We didn't hit the ground, but dove into it, and it was as thin and insubstantial as had been the air.  That is what he had wanted to show me.

Wow, thats all really interesting stuff!

Do you guys have any thoughts on the ability to project from a lucid dream? Often when I begin to lucid dream, I find myself floating in my room or near my body, like I have suddnely projected. Is there any good way of checking weather you are lucid or OB? I used to look at my hands to see if they are solid or opaque, but this doesnt seem to reliable anymore.

Sure.

To Project from a Lucid Dream, simply 'assume the position', that is, levitate up into the air and then go horizontal and attempt to be in the same position as you suppose your body is in.  Then float upward.

When I tried it, I seemed to shoot upward like a rocket... when it seemed like I broke thru the atmosphere and was in the darkness of Outer Space, what had actually happened was that I broke into the Real Astral and was just several hundred feet over my apartment building.

I read about this technique probably from Sylvan Muldoon... my generation's version of Bruce...  and he explained that by levitating upward, you could slowly escape that approximately 20 foot zone in which your 'silver chord' reacts adversely to the proximity of your astral body.

I think that is exactly what happened to me! I wanted to fly so fast so I shot up like a rocket and I must of broken through into the astral realm. That's why I felt that sinking feeling when I went down. I must have projected out of my body.
