Carnivalesque? The only reason so-called spiritual or transcendent truths have any meaning to us at all is because they "down-shift" into the physical or at least our minds! Only by affecting our inner and outer realities does anything happen at all.

If someone can lift fifteen feet off the ground with the power of her mind, I'm going to take notice. Whether or not that has anything to do with "spiritual growth" remains to be seen. But they know something I don't, and it's transphysical--a step in the right direction. Results, not words. Experiencing, not believing.

I trust the person who submitted that photograph competely. He also happens to be an expert on photography as well as other things, and would never send anything that was not genuine.

A couple of followup comments. I have seen numerous pictures of orbs in various places as well as some that have been sent to me - and they are remarkably consistent in characteristics.

If it was dust on the lens of the camera, then the orbs would appear in the same place on each exposure. I have seen a series of orb photographs all taken with the same camera at the same time, and the orbs vary in position on the exposure and size as well as number.

I never said that the orbs in that particular photo were dust particles. I didn't say that all orbs are dust particle. I merely stated that it is more likely to get false results with a digital camera.

Energy captured on camera: My eyes are 10/20. That means that I have REALLY good vision. Now, if I could just focus on raising my energy, maybe I wouldn't need a camera to see all the energy around me? I went to someone's post and they described ki energy as being like "yellow snow" and I have been able to see it as long as I can remember. I don't know. Maybe as children we were able to see energy and got afraid at night because we thought it was monsters or something. Then over time our brains developed filtration systems to keep us from knowing what we were seeing out of fear? It's just a thought.

The only way we can truly prove the existence of ki and other related things is to experience them for ourselves. No matter how trustworthy a person might be, how will you ever know for sure if you can't see it with your own eyes? Think about it this way: If the orbs in Adrian's picture are real, then think about how fast they are/were moving. Maybe we can see them but our brain's filtration system tells us to ignore them because they are all around us. Sometimes when I look up at the blue sky I see teeny tiny things moving around, and each one of them seems to give off a different color of light; now it could be bacteria in front of my pupils (but so diverse in species?), and maybe it is more than that. I am working on trying to determine which it is. Trouble is, where do you find the time to lie down in the grass for a couple hours? I have to try different things.

Isn't part of the reason for this site because science can't prove everything? Maybe using digital cameras is a good idea and maybe it isn't. By using digital cameras, we resort to science, do we not? We resort to the use of technology to prove such things that are seemingly beyond it. There is a missing piece to the puzzle here, a missing link between the digital cameras and understanding ki energy. I've felt a qi energy field before, emitted by my kung fu teacher- It's like a magnet, it seemed to repel my body. There are different sensations of qi, including static electricity, heat, tingling, and there are others. If you have felt it, who's to say it doesn't exist? I admit I can't prove to you it exists, but you can prove it to yourself, and I think that is the goal here. Don't believe everything you read, hear, or see. But if a variety of different sources give you the same results, then there's good reason to believe. We should train our eyes to see such things, I think that's a good idea. Hey another idea just came to mind: What if you synchronized the picture-taking using several different cameras? Take multiple pictures at the same time. There is always a possibility that someone could use photoshop to do this, but even so, if you have good reason to trust the people taking the pictures and you KNOW they would never do anything like that to you, then maybe it isn't so dangerous to trust them.

] Oh well. While we're on the topic though, I know Ki (Qi? Chi? Whatever) can heal wounds, but can it fix things like eyesight?

Sorry to wander so far from the topic, but these glasses are the bane of my existence and I loathe them! (Can't wear contacts, eye doctor mumbles through some scientific explanation and my mom believes him.)

there are so many possible reasons why bad eye sight occurs, all having to do with the shape of the eye, that some of the shapes just can't be corrected with contacts.

whether chi can heal bad eyesight is a question up for debate, and an experiment that many with bad eyesight are trying to perform.

i've only heard of miniscule results over long times so far. anyone else heard different?

One of my friends has a grandmother who practiced Tai Chi and healed her husband's eyesight using qi energy. That is the only case I have heard of though and I am not sure how much they were healed.

I also wear glasses, but not anymore. I use Ki healing and some NEW on each eyeball every night, and since I started it, I have noticed a great improvement in my eyesight. When I couldn't see the writing on the blackboard (which is about 6 feet away from where I sit), I started to do healing on them. Now I can see the writing from about 4 feet, so it is an improvement of 2 feet, which is better than nothing [

]. It is still a bit blurred, but I can just make it out.

ssjoku: Sometimes, but only if you practice with aerokinesis(the control of air and wind) in your Ki training.

As long as we are talking about eyesight under the ki pictures topic i'll discuss my sitchiation (cool xpelling eh?)

Since i was in the 1st grade I have needed glasses that were thicker than ANYBODY elses. In 8th grade I got contacts. I think the prescription was -5.75 and -6 (yes negative!) Pretty poor eh? Yea i know...

Anyway in like November 2002 (three years after contacts) My eyes started to hate me. I had and infection in the left eye which somehow spread to the right eye. After 5 different kinds of prescriptions the problem remains and Ms. Doctor has no idea what the problem is or how to fix it. Today, I woke up and my eye was blood red. This is starting to really tick me off! As a future engineer I feel the need to fix broken things, and this is one thing i cant fix which kills me.... My eye still hurts and there's pretty much no logical explanation.

So, there is a way to attempt to help myself? I'll seriously try anything, because these eye drops just arent working, and I'm starting to get webbed toes :p

Hi,
Squeek: Do what I do. Try some NEW one them and some Ki healing every night before you go to bed. Put your palm in front of your eyeball and visualize pure white energy flowing out of your palm and covering your eyeball (behind and in all the nooks and cranny's [

]). And the NEW healing is when you wrap a white energy bandage round your eyeball, covering it completely. Visualize black energy with red streaks in it flowing out of your eye and getting absorbed by the bandage. Visualize you throwing the bandage away and applying a new one. Do this about 5 times on each eyeball.

First of all to auraseer I wanna say, your an idiot and I hope your fat butt dies for being so pathetic. I saw all the videos on your site and each one of them is clearly fake. I'm really trying to believe in ki but its assholes like you who ruin it for people like me. Second of all, regarding the photo with the 10 balls. If you look carefully, on the bottom of each one of them is a streak like fade which resembles something like a cartoon picture of a baseball being thrown with the little fade showing that its moving. If you look even closer, you can see that its the same angle for every one of those which is how those little balls would look if made with tools on photoshop if you're an amateur, and there is even one on the ground, I gotta say I'm about 98 percent sure this picture was computer engineered, and whoever did it is really bad at it.

Hashpuppet and Auraseer - Hate to say it, but the photos/videos are a bit inconclusive. If you could train up a bit more and really give us something that will knock our socks off, that would probably convince the skeptics a little bit more.

No he isnt, i could make a bunch of flashy lights go off to and say its ki, but you would have to be a real dumbass no not be able to plainly say its fake. And theres enough evidence in the levitation video to tell that his videos are fake. Im sure his friend is the one "levitating" and if you look closely the toes on his right foot dont move, which is how your supposed to do the levitating trick. You have to look really close but they dont move.

You keep saying it's flashing lights etcetera etcetera. Auraseer is thirteen years old and practices in secret from the rest of his family. Do you think he would be able to get all those lights and tings in secret? And I'm SURE that he hasd professional editing software too...

But I must admit I need more evidence for the levitation...
