I don't know why that happened, but I can tell you that this post made my day. :)

Well, now you have put some comparisons with christianity, there is an odd resemblance.
The Islam is around 1400 years old now (correct me if I'm wrong).
If we return back in time, to when Christianity was at that age, we arrive in the time of inquisitions, crusades,....
It just tells us something we all know: history repeats itself. (but of course in a more modern setting)

Hello everyone

I have been on this forum some time ago (same account) and decided to come back.
Two years ago I gradually lost interest in ap'ing because of school. (Around that time I went to college, so my life changed drastically, I suddenly needed to learn a lot, maintain a healthy social life, ...)
Now, the urge to come back was never far away and I finally decided to get myself back on this forum.

I'm an 19 years old human  :-D living in Belgium.unfortunately, I have never been able to project or lucid dream (well, chances are big I did have a lucid dream, but I just can't remember it).
The reason I came back to this place is to discus what I experience, to ask questions should they arise and to share my experiences (when I start having them).
I remember this forum as a friendly one and I hope I enjoy myself/learn a lot on here.

Greetings
Herat

I don't think anyone is able to understand how these people think. (except for the ones who do these things.)
In fact it is strange they do this. Doesn't their faith tells them to live in peace? To get along with everyone, even to love everyone?
The things they do are just plain wrong. Not only do they hurt more people then anyone can imagine, they also make a lot of people live in fear.
I live in Belgium (next to France), and a lot of people here are scared. Police/army is everywhere, Shops are asked to stay closed for now, a lot of people are asked by the government to stay at home,...

All these things only have one consequence and that is that everyone starts to distrust everyone (at least in the countries that are in danger-areas).

I just can't get my mind around this.

I would like to thank lightbeam for his post  :-)
i'm 16, some days ago me and my first love decided to go apart, i cant describe in English how it felt, but i suppose all of you once had the same experience.
i had a hard time, but since i read your post, i gave it a try. it helped me to process my feelings. now, if i think back at the time we were together (staying in NOW all the time stays hard, so i still keep thinking back now and then.) it feels like i'm over it, i can let her go.

Thanks :)

when you go back to bed after ...minutes, do you just go to sleep while thinking about oobe? or do you lay on your back, like in evening attempts? And will you sudenly be 'out' or is it easier if you use something like rope?

hey :p

first of all, i didn't project a single time in my life (2 years practising).

in my opinion, it comes all to believing it is true.
You just need to change your reason for wanting to project.

instead of wanting to prove it is real, find something else. Maybe you want to explore stuff? fly?
think of what you want to and don't question if ap can be done or not. you must believe, assume it can, and will, hapen.

to those experienced in ap: correct me if i'm wrong.

you realy need to publish it :)
I'm at p105 and the story keeps getting beter. :p
I also think that you have chosen the right moments to finish the chapters. everytime i end one, i want to read on.
congratz for the masterpiece :p

well, I would like to read it.
My first language isn't english, but that shouldn't be a big problem.
I'm 16, and if i'm right this is a book for teens/young adults?
I like to write myself (In duth ;) ) and would love to read your story

Hey everyone, and thanks for reading. (and please forgive me my bad English  )

First of all, i would thank everyone for sharing your experiences on this forum, I find it a great help. I still have some questions that i couldn't find the answer to while searching the site, so I decided to ask them here.
I, myself, never had an experience. (just so you know)

1) Is it possible to project while listening to music? Whit music I don't mean binaural beats and stuff like that but soundtracks and classic music. (I didn't find this on the forum, only topics about binaural beats)

2) Is it preferable to lie on your back, or is it better to lie in the position you normally use to go to sleep? (I see a lot of discussion about this?)

3) When you are in the astral, will your sight come automatic or do you need to do something to get it? And how do you see, i red at some places that you will see in a 360 degree perspective, while others say you see the same as you do in physical life.

4) did anyone here met another astral traveller when he was out? (I found many topics about this, but never a real answer)

And my last question (at the moment) is one that I'm really curious about:
5) Is it possible to learn things in the astral, that you can use in daily life, like a language, playing an instrument,... or is that impossible?

I really appreciate everyone's help, so lets say it already: thanks for answering :)

(first of all, sorry for my bad English, I'm very bad at it; same post as in astral chat, teen topic, but its_al_bad said that it is better that i introduce myself here)

Hey,
I'm maxim, 16 (birthday 11 October 1996 Smiley ) years old.
I came across ap'ing 2 years ago but i only recently started practising again. (tried it before when i was 14 but stopped then because of my parents. They once asked why i was laying down in the middle of the day and i told them. They said it was dangerous etc. so i stopped trying it.)
I did some research over these two years and decided to try it again.
It is rather difficult to practise because i cant do it over day (parents + school) and i need to wake up early for school.
So only time left is in the evening, but i read multiple times that that isn't a good time to practise. Sad
Are there others among you guys with the same problems? How do/did you solve it?

Greets,
herat (maxim)

thanks for the reply. :p
no, I didn't manage to project, I even never had an ld (Read: never remembered that i had one, my dream recal is... bad.)

So your body gets the same amout of sleep when your projecting?
and is it right that, if i get out for the first time i need to keep it short? (i have Read(cant remember the past form of read) that somewhere and i'm wondering if that is true)
