Forums Bugs Reports and Questions / Banned
July 30, 2014, 19:54:34
Every time I go on the forums it tells me: 'you are banned from using this forum!' with 'spam' below it. This happens with every browser I have apart from IE, but that keeps giving me some other error and I hate using it. I've found out that this only happens to the browsers which I go on the forums with while I'm connected to a VPN. I've recently downloaded another browser and I could go on the forums, but after I connected to a VPN I got banned. disconnecting from it didn't change anything. A few minutes ago I changed my IP by resetting the router and that didn't change anything either.

When I try to AP I usually visualize that I'm in my house, I walk, touch things, smell things, look at things, listen to things... After about 10 minutes of doing that i just can't concentrate anymore and I just start visualizing other things and completely forget what I was doing. I know meditation should help but what meditation would be best for this kind of technique? If I visualize a ball spinning then I'll just quickly lose focus and that will turn into something else.

When you are trying to get sleep paralysis what do you do with your tongue and jaw? I've noticed that when I let the base of my tongue fall I snore, and people only snore when they sleep, so maybe it's easier to make your body fall asleep if you let your tongue fall. Also it would make sense if your jaw would fall when you sleep, but I've never heard of anyone saying you should let your jaw fall when you're aiming for SP. So what do you do with them?

Every time I go on "Show unread posts since last visit." It says "No unread topics found since your last visit." When there have been posts today which I haven't read. It's been like this for about a week. Why is this happening?

Today I got up at 4am stayed up for 5 min and then put my clothes on on and on my bed I relaxed and then concentrated on my breathing, I did this for an hour, nothing, no vibrations, noises, feeling heavy, feeling light, SP nothing at all, whenever I try to AP after I wake up I never get anywhere. When I try before sleep or any other time I get something like I feel numb, my body feels weird, once I got the vibrations etc. WHY ?? am I doing something wrong  :?

Every time I meditate my back start to hurt after a few minutes. So now I sit next to my bed but my back still hurts after about 5-12 minutes so I have to stop meditating.

They say I need to relax completely and keep my back perfectly straight, but how can I completely relax if I have to support my back ?

Also what is the best meditation technique for me ? I want to learn to concentrate better so I can stay awake while trying to AP, right now I'm concentrating on myself breathing.

I was laying in my bed without any pillows (just one pillow under my knees), I relaxed and then I started concentrating on my breathing and was noticing the blackness of my eyelids, I lost concentration a few times but I remained awake, after about 15 minutes I lost concentration again, I was almost dreaming, but then I heard a weird noise, I thought what's that ? where is that noise coming from ? and then I realised, I was snoring, then I stopped snoring and my body started feeling weird, then my legs started vibrating, I tried to relax but I couldn't, my neck was just hurting a lot maybe because I wasn't using a pillow. After a few minutes the vibration went away. I tried again, I think I got a pillow(maybe not)and then I tried to do it again, I got the vibrations but ummm I can't actually remember what happened next  :?, maybe I fell asleep ? So should I use a pillow ? If I do I might fall asleep but if I don't my neck might hurt. Also how long should i meditate before going to bed to try to AP ? and where should I try to AP on my bed i might fall asleep but on the floor my body might not fall asleep because it uncomfortable so no SP or if I do fall asleep someone might just walk into my room and just say wtf are you doing ? (happened more that once  :-() Also when I do get sleep paralysis what is a good way to get out ? Also when I get the vibrations should I try to get out while I'm vibrating or try to move the vibration around my body or just relax ? everyone says something different. Also I don't meditate much but this time I did for about 20 minutes in the evening and I got the vibrations for the first time ever so does meditating really make a big difference ? If so I think I'll start meditating much more often.

Right now I'm doing this technique where i set an alarm for 4am every night and after a few weeks I should be able to wake up at that time without the alarm clock and just relax, don't move, don't open my eyes and get into sleep paralysis. I'm just doing that but I'm not doing any other technique, this technique might take over a month and i don't know if it will even work for me, i want to have as much chance of APing as possible, and to practice as much as I can. I can't practice during the day so when and how should i practice ?

The technique I use sometimes is just relax and repeat a word in my head or focus on the breath.

When I try to AP at night I lie on my bed with my clothes on and without any blankets on top, I relax and then then repeat a word in my head and also concentrate on my breathing, after about 10 or 20 min my body starts feeling weird and after a couple of minutes everything instantly turns darker even though everything was already black, I think im going to get sleep paralysis soon so i try to relax even more but after about 5 min still nothing happens and i fall asleep then wake up after some time and go to sleep.

So why does everything turn darker ? does it mean im going to get sleep paralysis soon ? if so what do i do ? should i just concentrate on one thing ? anything im doing wrong ? should i do it longer ?

I know practising at night is bad but if i do it during the day i get no results and my cat usually jumps on me for no reason.

Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Concentration
January 01, 2013, 12:39:00
The biggest problem i have with astral projection is that i lose concentration whenever im attempting it. Tom Campbell said that sugar clouds your consciousness and makes it very hard to focus. so if i don't consume any sugar anymore that will make it easier to concentrate, right ? right now im concentrating on my breathing and listening to binaural beats just waiting for F10, not doing anything else. any way i could improve my chances of APing ? What do you concentrate on ?

Today i had 2 lucid dreams, i tried to visualize my bedroom but nothing happened i did this a few times but no matter what i did i didn't get out, so then i gave up and imagined a jet and started flying  :-D (i know that im already out of body when im in a dream, no need to tell me that.) also there any good techniques to induce lucid dreaming without using a dream journal ?

and how long do you do your technique for ?

When I'm attempting to AP, after some time I get this weird feeling it's not that feeling numb feeling and I'm not getting sleep paralysis, what is it ?
#15
I usually attempt to AP at around 3 pm. if i try to do it after i wake up i don't move or open my eyes and nothing happens, then i get in a different position and relax and do some technique but nothing ever happens, if i wake up at about 4am i get up for about 40 min and then go back to bed relax and then i just instantly fall asleep. the only time when i get any results its around 3pm. when do you AP ?
#16
I usually try to AP when going to sleep, I concentrate on my chest rising and falling but I always fall asleep within about 2 minutes. i think i get enough sleep. On weekdays I go to sleep at 23:30-0:00 and wake up at 06:50 on weekends I go to sleep at the same time and wake up at around 10:00. If I try do do it when I wake up it's just completely impossible to stay awake, I can wake up 5 times during the night but I just fall asleep in 5 seconds. I don't do I often at daytime because there's usually other people in the house (they would think I'm crazy) but when I do I usually don't fall asleep (sometimes I do) and nothing happens. Any advice ?

when trying to astral project i relax for about 5 min until im completely relaxed and then i try to clear my mind and then try to concentrate on my breathing or that high pitched noise (idk wtf it is) and i can do that for up to about 2 hours but nothing happens, i dont get sleep paralysis. Last week instead of doing that and waiting for sleep paralysis i just did the rope technique and after about 15 min i began feeling something happening to my body and after about 1 min that high pitched sound was VERY loud, i couldn't hear anything else just that sound. after about 10 min i could still move my body :/ every AP technique says that  i need to do the technique after i get SP soooooooooo ???

has any of you seen or been in a UFO while astral projecting or been in area 51 ?

I've been trying to AP for about a month and i can never even get sleep paralysis i always just feel numb in my arms and legs. This is what I do

1. I sit in a sofa because i have to keep swallowing if I'm on a bed
2. i tense a part of my body for 5 sec then release and do that to all parts of my body from feet to head
3. take slow deep breaths until I'm completely relaxed
4. keep saying a word or a phrase in my head
5. keep relaxing (still doing 4)

i sometimes do this for up to 2 hours

what am i doing wrong ?  :?

btw will listening to binaural beats before doing this help ? or do i have to listen to it while doing it ?
