Is it a full separation experience or can it me as small as being able to move your non physical limb?
I would say it's the "full Monty"!  :-) The words "successful entrance" would show that.

You will find that there are many here on the Astral Pulse that don't share Michael's views. They don't look favorably at him either.

I listened to what he had to say. I read his book, watched his videos. I liked some things he had to say, others things I felt he had no clue on. He likes to use his own terminologies to describe things that many practitioner's here already know as WILD (Wake Initiated Lucid Dreaming). His material is basically nothing new though. If anything, I think it confuses people, more than it helps them! But that's just my opinion.

Lumaza - So you just concentrate on moving your fingers and keep your focus on the movement?
Yes

Quote- How long did you practice this for until it worked for you?
It took a few times before it worked for me. But truth be told, it's just another "target focus, amongst the many. You could go to sleep focusing on your 3rd eye and still get the same results. You could even focus on your toes or that lamp beside your bed. The thing here is you are holding onto your awareness while your body goes to sleep naturally. Hence the label, "mind awake/body asleep" that we hear so often in this practice. When you naturally go to sleep, your conscious awareness wanes, as you "click out". You have many years of training in this. Head hits the pillow and it's light's out. Well, now we are trying to "rewire" the process.
To be able to continuously acquire this state, you need to change your "mindset" on a number of things. Most of those things go against our "human" physical  conditioning.

The key is to learn how to hold that "awareness" and passively observe any of the many symptoms that "could" occur while doing it, until your body does go to sleep. I find that comes from daily practice.

I think any method that utilizes losing consciousness right before the OBE is great way for people to get some experience under their belt. This way, unlike direct methods, you don't get all analytical about it and constantly wondering if you're nearly there. Let your consciousness do the work for you. I think going straight for a direct OBE is hard but if you've already created a path in the long grass through some indirect methods it makes it easier to then do direct ones and once you do then move onto direct methods you know exactly what an obe is like for you abd so you k now just how close or far away you are.

If I remember rightly when I first started I did the timer method which involved getting up at around d 5 am then listenING to some binaural beats to send you to sleep but it had a timer go off after a certain amount of time to wake you. You would then drift off again and the timer would go off again after a shorter period of time. This would continue about four times with the time betweens alarms getting shkrter and shorter and all the while your consciousness is levelling off around the wake sleep border and invariably you would automatically experience something like the vibrations or just find yourself out of body.

Also the wake back to bed method is good. I still utilize a modified version of that with about a success rate of 85%.

With these methids you don't need to worry about exit techniques or questions how close you are. William Buhl man did indirect techniques for years.

With doing a direct method wit no experience you are flying a little blind not really ever sure if you're doing it right. Sure there are lots of generic symptoms of our OBEs as guidelines but reading too much into them can hinder progress because your experience of symptoms s might be different from another's and you question if you're doing it right. They experienced the vibrations. Why can't I? I must be doing something wrong.

Although I agree with what you said above, the "Indirect" techniques have their own challenges as well. The biggest one being, you still have to know how to handle yourself when you awaken in Sleep Paralysis or you still have to ground yourself to be able to hold your awareness while becoming lucid in a Lucid Dream.

The thing I like about the "Direct" techniques, especially "Creative Visualization based Phasing" is that you are completely consciously aware the entire time from start to finish, unless of you happen to "click out", as can happen. Because you are aware the entire time you are forced to learn control. But, and that's a big "but", you can also utilize that learned control in this physical reality as well.

I have had many "tests" in LDs where something jumps out at me or some kind of event occurs, right in my face, that immediately either knocks me back to my physical focus or forces me to "react" to it. At that time, my awareness is not 100%. It takes a while to get it to that level, I find.
The same thing can happen in a Phase session, the difference is, I am already consciously passively observing everything that the NP is throwing at me and because I am 100% aware, I can react accordingly, on my own time. Yes with Phasing, "sometimes" (you don't always have them) you have to handle the exit symptoms and signposts. But I believe and have been shown that that's what makes you stronger. Phasing is also a great way to learn to navigate your new surroundings. Not necessarily just navigating them, but getting used to them, like making them "second nature" to you.

I guess in the end, my choice comes from the fact that when I sleep, I like to sleep. I have awoken many times, used the bathroom, jumped back into bed and thought for a 1/2 a second about implementing a OBE technique. Then decided to just go back to sleep, lol. It happens!  :-D
I do still use nightly affirmations and find those very helpful though.

When I do a Phase session, I am mentally prepared to see it through. That kind of "conditioning" comes through years of almost daily practice.

A sad fact may be that you (Lumaza) and I think too much alike. :-D I clicked on your thread, then without reading your post, referred to the OP.
I thought the same thing...

It may have been a subliminal idea that the OP was unaware of. More NP humor??? Either way, we are headed for Christmas. :-D
:-) 8-)

It's amazing to see the way that "some" people think of Astral Projection. I have heard many times on Radio Talk shows a guest saying that Astral Projection is "demonic" and is the "Devil's" workings. I just slap my forehead in awe when I hear such foolishness!  :-o :-P

The worst part of it is, it being a live Radio Talk show means that thousands. sometimes even more, will be hearing that kind of foolishness as well.

I saw someone viewing this thread here earlier today and thought it would give you guys/gals here a good, much needed laugh!  :-D

Unfortunately the link that the Op supplied is no longer in service. But you can read in his opening some of the things that this website had to say about Astral Projectors.

To the list at the bottom of the comment in "Other facts to know about to what their astral projections as them can do:" portion, you could probably add these "abilities" as well. They seem like the only things he left off his list, lol.

Other facts to know about to what their astral projections as them can do:
They know when you are sleeping
They know when your awake
They know if you've been bad or good, so be good for goodness sakes. Oh....................................
"Enter the melody!"  :-)

Anyways, like I said, good for a laugh!  :-D

But an experience like that even though a lot of people could have probably died had you not diffused the bomb, isn't that more of a trainning for a simulation rather than some sort of retrievals in the white house, or could it have been both, or are they different?
I think it is further training of actually learning and living some kind of control over the current "simulation". The "Re-scripting" portion seems to be there to make you "ultra aware" that you are in a "simulation" of some kind. I have to admit though, the first couple of Re-scripts, I am not fully aware of what is happening. It takes a few times, before "trigger" start appearing.

QuoteIt's a great story Lumaza an I wish I could experience this kind of adventure on a more repetitive and frequent basis there since you get to learn a lot of non-physical skills, like last week where I learned how to make club sandwiches, I thought it was a retrieval to feed the children.
Any ideas of what this was?
I agree, more "frequency/repetition" of these events would be nice. Once in awhile, I will go through a full week or these experiences, night after night. I find though that you kind of need time between to actually be able to understand what had occurred. Many of these experiences seem to leave you perplexed in the days following them. But somewhere along the line, you seem to finally be able to "get it". Sometimes that takes a few hours, sometimes a few days, sometimes even years. The "understanding" will reveal itself. Another lesson learned, on to the next!  :-D

Welcome to Dreams! / Re: I DREAMED THAT IM DREAMING
October 07, 2018, 01:27:13
I was trying to find a thread already talking about this to post my experience as well. I had to go back quite a few pages in this "Sub-Forum" to find it, but I see that some of our other members had experienced something similar as well. Just as with all our topics here and experiences, if you are experiencing something unique and extraordinary, there is a very good chance that others have as well. Last night's experience is definitely one of those incredibly bizarre and extraordinary experiences.

I became aware I was at a live Hockey game. MJ and I were going into the venue and I saw this woman, that for some reason stuck out. We went and grabbed our food and drink and this woman was there once again, just looking in our direction. There were so many other people around that it was hard to tell if she was looking directly at us.

I went to use the bathroom and when I came out she was there right in front of it. Just the thought of using the bathroom in my dream brought up the fact that I had to use it in real, so I woke up, used my bathroom and got back into bed.

Once again, I became aware I was at the Hockey game. But at no time during this experience was I aware that I was actually physically sleeping. That "thought" was blocked from my mind.

MJ and I went and sat down and we were watching the game now. For some reason, I turned behind me to look at the crowd and saw that that woman was right behind my seat. She was very attractive with beautiful eyes. Being at a Hockey game, I had my jacket still on, since it's still somewhat cold, even in a heated Arena.

We were enjoying the game when I felt a hand touch my hip. It was just under where my jacket ended. I then felt another hand on the other hip. It started moving towards my groin area. I apologize for getting X-rated there, but I needed to explain that. I felt rubbing for a moment and immediately felt very strange. I got up abruptly and left my seat, telling MJ I was going to use the bathroom. I was confused. Remember, I was experiencing this just as I would in this reality. It was totally vivid and live.

I then went to the bathroom. I walked to the sink, turned on the cold water and began splashing it in my face. I closed my eyes while splashing the water and when I opened them, I wasn't in the bathroom anymore. Now I was in some kind of Oriental Museum/Art Gallery, complete with beautiful Art work. I was in shock. I was totally disoriented by this. It actually scared me as well.

I finally got my bearings enough to be able to explore this new area. I approached a woman that in the Gallery. She looked like she may have been the Owner or Curator. She was Oriental as well and for some reason I thought may be more understanding of my current dilemma. I didn't want to "stereotype" her, but my real friends of Oriental descent here in my physical life, seem to be very knowledgeable about NP experiences.

She though, had no clue what I was talking about. I walked around some more and finally found myself at a window. I looked outside and saw the sky. It was clear at first and then a large rolling cloud came into view, which soon morphed into a Dragon. At that point I knew I was Dreaming. But, I thought I was Dreaming as in I had fell asleep at the Hockey game. Once again, at no time in my experience did I know I was Dreaming from the point of my physical body lying sound in my bed.

I had enough of this and tried to end the experience. I tried to alter things around me, but nothing changed. I mentally demanded "Dream over" and "Return to Physical", but nothing worked. I was locked in this scenario and I guess it was for "hours". Somewhere along the line I clicked out of my conscious awareness and the next thing I knew, I was waking up for real. I was amazed that it was now 3:00 in the afternoon. I was locked in this simulation for quite a while. I had gone to sleep at about 1:30 am, so I was shocked to see that I slept so late.

This was such a strange experience because I was having a LD from a Dream I was already in, while thinking that I really was at that Hockey game. This was as vivid and in your face as this current here is.

I am still disoriented by this today. Recently Nameless, on another thread, posted a experience she had that had a lasting effect on her the following day. Well once again, today I know exactly what she was talking about.

I don't understand why I was so troubled when I first became aware I was in that Oriental Museum. For some reason, I was fighting tooth and nail to get out of that place. I talked to many "characters", but none of them understand what I was trying to say. I had never met any of the characters from this "simulation" in my real life before. I had never been to that Museum/Gallery either. Everything was "alien" to me.

This was really hard to explain. There was enough occurring to overload my brain at the time. I could write more on it, but I really hate typing, lol. All I can say is it definitely falls into the category of "unique" and "bizarre".

  Thank You for listening!  :-)

To me it just sounds like you are not far enough along to try an exit technique. I don't pay much attention to smaller exits symptoms like etheric limbs moving. It just distracts you from the goal here. For me I wait for that clear shift in consciousNess. That is my cue to attempt an exit technique. With practice you just know when it's time. This is why i advocate indirect obe methods first.
I agree. I feel that your anxiety is making you "jump the gun". The goal is isn't to bring on sensations. The goal is to project. I think you need to work more on that part and see the sensations for what they really are, a "Symptom/Signpost". The signposts are to be "passively observed" with a air of curiosity. This is why this "practice" takes so much "practice. If I could borrow a "gambling term", "you need to learn when to hold them and when to fold them". I like the words of a 38 Special song here too, Hold On Loosely But Don't Let Go, If You Cling Too Tightly, Your Gonna Lose Control". That pretty well sums it all up!  :-)

Edit: A friend of mine and former Moderator here named Contenteo once said this " I feel deep down, that OBE's aren't something to achieve quickly. Fast food is rarely healthy." I have found this to be true as well.

I'm a lot calmer now. Yesterday I felt ill every time this crossed my thoughts which was pretty much all day. Last night I really slept like a baby and today I feel much refreshed and for whatever reason I don't feel as 'pressed' about this. But it does and did feel like a whodunnit.
This is why I can understand why the general populace doesn't experience LDs almost nightly or even remember their Dreams. It stays with you the next day. It sets your mood, it stays on your mind and yes, it can make you sick as well.

I have found the "Re-scripting" is always there to either make you pay attention to the "theme" of the circumstances or to make you find another way to handle it.  Normally with me, it is a non violent way to handle the circumstance. In many of my "re-script" experiences there seems to be an aggressor that needs to stifled or handled. It's so easy to "obliterate" them, but that's not the "chosen" way to handle it.

The shove and constant push was there to keep you "focused" or to create a focus on the real situation/issue at hand. Many times we fail to see what the main plot of the scenario really was, until "after the fact" that is.

What was it, a "dream"/OBE/Nightmare. I would just chalk it up to another one of those bizarre NP experiences. You may find that sometime in the future, this will may have more meaning. Kind of like one of what I call my "Timeline" adventures. Lately I have been having a lot of those, even in my daily Phase sessions. I was going to make a thread based on just that, but figured it likely wouldn't get replied to here anyways.

I had a "re-scripted" adventure last week while sleeping whereas I was in Presidential conference room with Donald Trump as the speaker. There were some middle eastern gentlemen, two of them that walked into the room, sat down, then took a can of pop each and put it on the floor, got up and left the room. The whole scenario turned into some kind of bomb threat. Just as with most of my normal "Hero" plots, I had to diffuse the situation. There was quite a bit of action in that one. Just when I thought I had handled the problem, I found myself in a "do over" over and over again. I don't know what brought this on. I don't care about politics. Actually I "loathe" politics. But in the past, I have had other adventure like scenarios with other Presidents as well. I am always baffled when I awaken afterwards.  :-o :?

I noticed that last night it was really really hard to keep my thoughts in check. It seemed like my mind was constantly wandering and i could not keep it concentrated on one thing for more than 3 to 4 seconds.
Don't fret. The average Human "nowadays" can only hold their focus on a single thing for 3-4 seconds. A Goldfish has better focus/attention span than we do.
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/science/2016/03/12/humans-have-shorter-attention-span-than-goldfish-thanks-to-smart/

Fear not though, "Meditation" and this practice in general, will strengthen and lengthen your ability to "hold" your focus on one thing.

Lumaza,

I think when you stated ""I don't focus on the movement. I focus on the "action"" I think A light bulb went off!!
I am focusing on the movements more so than the action, I thought the whole process was revolving around the movement!!

I have a new approach to take tonight when I lay down... Thank you i will let you know what happens!
Good luck!  :-)

QuoteLumaza,

Good question... honestly I don't know. I know that when i was younger our family doctor wanted to put me on something as i was over active in school. Luckly my parents are (for the most part) against pharmaceuticals. so i was never on what ever they wanted me to take. Thank you Mom and Dad!!!
The reason that I asked that question is because in the last 6 years since I have been here on this Forum, I have seen a number of new members with anxiety issues that have for some reason been drawn to this practice. Unfortunately for them, it's a "catch 22". Perhaps that's why they were drawn to it in the first place, so they can learn how to learn patience and relax. Unfortunately many of them gave up. It was too much to endure.

The issue I am experiencing is.... Now that I am really starting to feel (move then ever before) limb / astral movements (So I think).
When I am laying there picturing an object of just trying to induce movement I find that I am constantly trying to check if it is my astral body moving or my physical body.
Don't do that. By checking to see if there is movement, you are still too physically focused. Try "etherically" playing your guitar and lose yourself in the moment. The trick is to release that "physical" focus. When I use my Doorway/6 pt directional technique, I don't focus on the movement. I focus on the "action". If I experience a road, I focus on what's ahead and where it leading to, not what my body, etherically or physical is doing or experiencing. I like to keep the mindset, that I have already released my physical vessel and that now I am simply a point of consciousness. The motion based exercises are only there to aid me in getting to the 3D void. Once there I go experience and learn what I need to see or what I need to be taught. I allow the scenario to go in whatever direction it needs to, to achieve that goal.
#1393
SCHMUSTIN, do you have "Anxiety related" issues, like ADHD or something similar?

I ask that because you seem to be putting a whole lot of pressure on a process that is all about "relaxing, releasing and letting go"!

Your answers lie in the replies from the member's here on the Astral Pulse already. From EV, "Don't get too preoccupied with any of the details and trust your intuition and go with the flow."  From Lucidityman, "just chill and let things happen".

You can't force and don't need to force what occurs naturally. All you need to do is to learn to allow and passively observe it when it does.

Thanks Lumaza!
I have been having incredible np experiences without actually going ob with this new timer i created. I set the first beep to alert me after an hour then in 15 minute intervals. Ive been practicing hovering for a year now where I either fall asleep or have an experience. But now, even after ive lost interest in the hover my mind seems to be conditioned where it takes over the hovering-unconsciously on its own-for me. Even though im not as fully conscious during the mind take over i am also not fully asleep. Sometime i stay in that state for a couple hours where either energy sensations occur then A
an obe  or i simply lay there with other np experiences happening without full on vibrations. Although if i am able to maintain the state for a couple hours there seems to be a wavy electro type energy that arent full on vibrations. Ive had a few experiences this way that are just as valuable as an obe as far as consciousness exploration goes. Another thing i get is in my jaw while i am full awake. Have you ever heard of that? When we yawn there is a "roar"noise that corresponds with our yawn....right? That roar you hear in your inner ear when you yawn. I get a roar very similar to that when i simply slightly move my jaw left to right even if only i move it one cm i will get a roar type sound. When that happens vibrations occur every nite without fail. Its like that roar sound has something to do with the electro energy, yet i experience the roar while wide awake through out my day. Do you experience that? I also have a couple of other "markers" that are very difficult to explain that i wont get into right now. I was curious if youve ever experienced that energy roar you recieve when simply slightly moving your jaw thru out the day. Ok. Latr!
Kudos, for coming up with a "formula" that works for yourself!  :-)

My chosen time to experience is while I am completely conscious in the daytime. When I first started down this path, I targeted my nights and strived to keep aware as fell asleep. That caused many interruptions in my natural sleep pattern and after awhile got to be a bit too much. When I go to sleep, I like to sleep. There would be many nights where I would be exhausted and just want to sleep, but then find myself unable to for sometimes hours on end. I would have experiences, but the next day, I would be exhausted. So, I changed my schedule to a daytime program, hence my afternoon Phase/soak sessions.

I still have LDs almost nightly. I still use my affirmations before I "click out" to sleep and once in awhile, I still get the spontaneous OBEs.

Your description of the "Astral Winds" is spot on. I have tried to describe that sound to people, but could never find the right words. Thank you for that. You are right, it does sound just like that weird "white noise" while you are yawning. I don't perceive the sound as a "roar" though. At least it doesn't start that way. That brings up some questions though. I never knew that we could actually mimic that sound, almost to "T". The Astral winds seem to come in various degrees though, just as the vibrations do. Normally I will become ultra aware first, then, I will feel a light buzzing, like one feels when an arm or leg is going to sleep. It's not really pins and needles though. There is no pain. All there is a vibration that feels like it is about skin level. Sometimes it begins in the head. Sometimes in the feet. Then I will become aware of a very faint sound, which in the past, I only compare to as a gentle wind or breeze. Both the vibration and sound would get louder and stronger, until they both merged together like a "constant". There everything would halt. There would be no vibrations or sound. The next thing I knew, I was being elevated.

I have attempted to see during this. I wear a Sleep Mask that blocks out all light. I started to wear this mask at night because I had countless times in past experiences wherein I felt like my physical eyes were opening. I would also see things like my room and home in general from "Tunnel vision" or some kind of weird shapes and strange lights. I had to make sure that what I was experiencing was occurring with my eyes shut. The Sleep Mask confirmed that I was.

I have had this happen so many times in the past 6 years now that I  have made a practice of it to slow the process down as much as I could, so I could experience every little bit of it. I even aborted in the middle of an experience just to see what would happen either next or to write something important down in my Journal beside my bed. By slowing this natural process down, I got to understand a more about it. I got to know the "markers" as you call them quite well.

I very rarely experience vibrations or any kind of sounds while Phasing though. That approach seems to come at this whole practice from a different way. While Phasing, I can maintain a "dual" awareness.

One of our members from the past, also a friend of mine wrote a Sticky on a "prenap" technique that lead to the person doing it awaking in some level of Sleep Paralysis. I used this early in my practice. But I found that it couldn't be used every night repeatedly, simply because your system would get used to the pattern and it didn't work any more.
http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/welcome_to_astral_consciousness/fantastic_obe_technique_bedeekins_method-t31819.0.html

From using a special Light/Sound Machine and the constant use of Binaural Beats/Isochronic Tones, I entrained my brain to hold these various levels of frequency. I find that long term usage really does create a kind of "neural pathway.
I used one Light/sound machine called the Laxman for about 3 years and I really enjoyed it. The problem  was, when the program ended, the mental stimulation did as well. After awhile I used it more as "booster" to get me to where my conscious needed to be.

All that ended though when I got a gift of newer machine that had some kind of problem with it's programming. That led to a extremely bright flash that cause irreparable damage to my optic nerve. The problem was, The damage was caused while my eyes were shut, which means that the Eye Specialist could not locate it. This also led to Trigeminal Neuralgia in the nerves on the left side of my face. But, since everything has a reason, this too had a "silver lining". It taught me what the Tibetan's call Dream Yoga. So, it's not all bad!

I honestly can't really fathom it getting more interesting, it was very disorienting. I would've stayed to observe it, but I thought one of the visions I was seeing was my physical eyes and so I worried I would bring myself out of the experience. Ironically it seems the worrying is what brought me back. This is all blowing my mind, I'm not really sure what to make of being in 2 different locations at the same time.
You haven't seen nothing yet, lol. You are just beginning to "scratch the surface!   :-)

How do you move your physical fingers and expect to separate?
I'm guessing you are wanting the feeling of moving and not physically moving....

Hopefully another experienced member can provide some guidance on this.
In my experiences with this technique, it lead to me becoming aware in SP and having what started as a "RTZ" experience, as in a "duplicate" of my room, but it soon changed location. What occurred was I awoke in a mild SP and allowed it to strengthen. I then foun d that I was being whisked away by my ankles, somewhat dragged, very quickly down my hallway and then out my patio window. The first part of the experience was what I could only describe as my bed, bedroom and home in general. Once out the window, things became bizarre. So bizarre, that they overwhelmed me and I soon "clicked out".

I began "physically" moving my fingers, until I kind of zonked out. I am sure though that somewhere through the process, my physical fingers stopped moving, but now the feeling I was getting was more "etheric" in nature.

What this technique does for you is it keeps you somewhat consciously aware right to the "border line" of the sleep process. I found it useful.

I agree. I am the same way.

Unfortunately, not all people have the option to do that (for various reasons), and they don't know it.

On the opposite side of the spectrum are those who, being successful in their individual quest for knowledge become closed, opaque, to outside knowledge, and they don't know it.
I agree. It's almost like you have to find a "happy medium".

Right now we are experiencing this with Nathan at the new Rehab center. He met his new Doctor yesterday for the first time. He had moved Rehab centers about a week ago. She is set in her ways. So much so that almost everything his former Doctor said for his current treatment, she disagreed with. At the other Hospital they were having great success with Spinal Cord injuries, by raising the blood pressure of the patient to promote healing. Well she isn't sold on that, so she changed it in his Meds. He has had a few infections because of his Catheter, so the other Doctor was monitoring it very closely and finding ways to avoid it. Once again, this new lady said, she didn't agree with it.

The first thing this new Doctor told him is that he likely will never walk again. She then read his charts and saw that he was moving his toes and once in awhile his fingers. She then grabbed onto his foot, with his shoe on and said move them now. He couldn't and she said "Oh, your not perform for me like you did for everyone else. She then went on to lecture him about Alcohol. What we learned from all this is that she is a pardon my French, "Ego laden biitch".

She is old school and because of that, she has lost her passion and empathy to really "care" anymore. I think it's time for her to retire and for the center to get someone new, in there. The actual Rehab part of this new center is fantastic. The nightly nursing staff is horrible though. I am amazed that there is such a lack of caring amongst them.

Can't blame him really for that though, he's experienced so much... in a sense, I'm very closed too based upon the experiences I've had.   LoL
We see what we "need" to see when we "need" to see it. But, when we close ourselves to "other", other is no longer shown to us.

Two more unique experiences that occurred during my Phase/soak sessions. The first one was yesterday and I didn't write anything about that one while answering ScHMUSTIN's question about "Tug-o-wars".

I got into my tub of hot water, closed my eyes and kind of melted into it. I spent a few moments just enjoying the relaxation of it all. I then began my daily ritual, which is to do my healing modality focus. I use the Mantra "RA MA DA SA SA SAY SO HUNG". I mentally repeat it 3 times, then I will focus on whoever I wish to help. I have used many Mantras in the past, but for some reason, thins one seems to just resonate with me. You can hear more of this Mantra here. If you do a google search, you will find that indeed it is a very powerful Mantra that is used often in Eastern traditions. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IdeR_sQnI3A

I normally see the person as a chalk outline and upon closer inspection, can see different areas of concern highlighted by normally either a glowing orb or color. When I turned my focus to my Son, (he is really my Step son, but in my mind he is my Son), I saw him as is in his current situation. For some reason I see him etherically in his wheelchair. Today, I was shown that I shouldn't. I should view him standing, just like I view the others I attempt to aid, completely healthy again.

That whole process didn't take long, maybe 10 minutes max. I then just stared into the darkness and became aware of every bit of it. What I felt, what I saw, what I heard, etc.. All of a sudden a line showed up in my visual screen going straight across horizontal in front of me. I allowed this scene to progress and soon numbers were showing up as well. The number was 110 hrtz. I know that 110 hrtz is the Schuman resonance and that this visual had meaning. Another line soon showed up under the horizontal one, going the same way and soon a "dial" appeared. I could see that some form of a Radio was being created. The dial marker was currently on the 110 hrtz section. I then played with the dial, going up and down. I could see that "tuning" was the lesson here. I then repeatedly played with the dial mentally turning it up and down. I paid particular attention to what I was feeling at whatever the new setting was. What I could see, hear, how it felt different. I played with this for the entire session.

Afterwards I thought more about this and saw that there is ways I could heighten this experience. It would involve listening to different tones, from a MP3 or YouTube and getting used to what that frequency was. Then returning back to the "tuning" exercise and seeing if it still applied.

I could also see that the Schuman resonance was chosen here because it is the frequency of the Earth.
"Schumann resonances

The Schumann resonances (SR) are a set of spectrum peaks in the extremely low frequency (ELF) portion of the Earth's electromagnetic field spectrum. Schumann resonances are global electromagnetic resonances, generated and excited by lightning discharges in the cavity formed by the Earth's surface and the ionosphere."

So, that was an interesting session. Definitely something worthy of exploring again. I do want to point out though that I did not intend to see this. I didn't consciously image it to appear. Like I said above, I had finished my healing modality, then I was just enjoying the darkness before my closed eyes. But, when it started to occur, I allow it all the freedom it needed and sat back and passively observed it all, without question. My questions came afterwards.

Now to today's session. Once again I started with lying back into the water, closing my eyes, then mentally doing my healing ritual. I then blanked my mind and enjoyed the peacefulness of the darkness before my eyes.

A thought then came to me about a conversation I had recently with a good friend here, where I mentioned the fact that I still enjoy a focus on a "Child's Spinning Top", akin to the one in the movie Inception. I loved that movie and began using the spinning top visual immediately after I saw it in the movie. So, I jump started the spinning top visual

The Spinning top soon began to morph and this time it was into a flame. I continued to passively observe this and I could swear I heard something either orally or telepathically say to use the Elements. I am no stranger to mental associations of the Elements. Fire being the flame, Water, normally a gently running brook or stream, Air, the sun or a golden sky and Earth being flowers, tall grass, etc.

So, I started mentally visualizing these Elements and as usual a visual soon appeared in my mental screen. Then something weird began happening. I would be seeing the flame of a firepit and all of a sudden a flower would be superimposed over the scene. I would be witnessing the flame, but with the flower as some kind of "overlay". I then changed the element and once again watched as a overlay appeared/ The coolest one was a flame with water merging with it. Just yesterday in a post I made here on another thread, I was speaking about "layers". Well, in this session I really got to see the real meaning of them. The scenes and overlays got even more vivid, which led to more amazement.

I have always stated that I love experimenting and exploring anew. I know many of you reading this right now feel that things like this are unnecessary. I find that experimenting and exploring anew makes keeps this practice always fresh. It also creates a real passion to push the enveloped and delve further.

Many people make this practice much harder then they need to. Have fun with it. Release all that stress you put on yourself and just go see what you can see. You will soon find that all this work and prep you have been working on will really pay off. My techniques here are personally "tweaks" I have made on other people's successful methods. I wanted to keep it as simple as could. I have always and still always hear people say they can't rid themselves of their "Monkey mind". If you can't beat it, join it. Use that Monkey mind to take you away from your physical focus. Techniques like this don't have to be lengthy. See it for what it worth. I use a number of different techniques to reach the same goal/destination and I am constantly being taught new ones to share with you as well.
