Quote from: Amongthestarz333 on Yesterday at 10:59:01Today, I woke up and didn't move or open my eyes. I was still in a state where I could phase I suppose. Forgive me if my terminology is off. I ended up sitting up out of my body and getting to the end of my bed, (I hear the bed creak, my partner move, even though in reality he is not here right now)felt my face glide on the end of my bed (I don't have a wooden end of my bed but I suppose I created one to pull myself and touch). Then I got up without feet, just by almost energy like? This was the first time I had been able to do that. All the other times I get frustrated trying to stand. & that was it I ended up back in bed.
So, I know it's hard to comprehend right now, but you were "already" in the NPRs. Everything right now seems more physically related. Many if not all people that follow NPR exploration have experienced the "real time zones" You stated that you had some clue to that fact. One being the fact that at the moment the bed you were in was not your physical bed here in this realm. "I don't have a wooden end at my bed". Next, you used your "intent" to stand up, but, and this is a big but, you felt your energy/etheric body. Another is the fact that you thought your partner was beside you, even though he wasn't in this physical realm here.

You post above that you are getting close. You are already there. At this moment in your NPR development, you still have the "need" to associate with a physical form. At that moment though, you are a single point of consciousness, free to travel, with no limits. There is a "learning curve" to all of this. That is why people transition from OBE attempts over to act of "Phasing". They learn that what we are experiencing is truly a "shift in consciousness" and that a focused will and intent is all that is needed to achieve this shift. When I phase I experience everything from a single point of consciousness viewpoint. This was taught to me while learning what we call "phantom wiggling". That soon led to being able to mentally propel myself in all directions. When I close my eyes, I mentally propel myself forward. I experience it like one does while driving.
We have a thread here in on "Phantom Wiggling" if you wish to read more about it. If anything, it is a very unique practice and seems to open the door to other unique teachings. I am not the only one to say that. While the topic was new, I received all kinds of PMs from members that didn't feel comfortable posting in the public Forum here. They were thoroughly enjoying engaging in it.

The only part of your whole post that I found was sad EV, was that I could only click "like" once, when it deserves at least 5 of them! :-D

I would say that your entire post EV should be "stickied". What you shared here could be utilized by many, in a number of posts and enquiries that we receive here on Astral Pulse forums.

Whenever I become consciously aware in a new environment. That "is" my "reality". After I get the gist of what is going on/lay of the land, per se, then and then only will I interact in it. It doesn't take long to do that. Many times the "knowing" that accompanies NPRs, is enough to fill in the blanks.. You just need to calm your mind. I say that like it is easy to do. I will tell you it isn't. But, it is necessary, if you wish to make this your new "norm"!

Quote from: LightBeam on August 10, 2025, 22:39:15Thinking about the overall awareness of consciousness, I've always wanted to know how a tree perceives, what a rock perceives, what a drop of water perceives, what an atom perceives. The diversity of consciousness is truly fascinating.
We had a friend that died on the operating table twice. He was experiencing liver failure during that time. Years of heavy drinking caught up with him. Not only did he had health problems, he also had distanced himself from his kids and was divorced from his wife. People can only take so much, even Family.

When he came out of a short induced coma, he was visited by a Lady from the Minnesota University. She was doing research and a study on NDEs. Randy was very shy and he kept to himself. That was at least as long as you weren't talking about hunting and fishing. So, he never said anything.

Randy came home from the hospital as "changed man". He was different in many ways. The most important one being, he worked on fixing things that he broke. He was given I guess 5 years to do that because 5 years later, he died of a heart attack. Before that though, Randy would come over and help and share tips on gardening with my wife. Now Randy was the best friend of my wife's ex-husband, during a tough period. In the past my wife and Randy were not friends. That changed now too. She now called Randy the "new Randy" when talking to me about him. After about a year, Randy started to open up to us on what he really experienced. He said he lived as board in the wall in an older couple's home. During the night, he found himself in a bar listening to this table of Ladies that were always gossiping. During the day, he went back to being that 2X4 in the wall. He said it seemed like he was there for an eternity. He didn't have any control over it though.

At his funeral, I spoke to his Father and Sister that lived in Texas. I brought up the NDEs. They already knew of them. His Sister was supposed writing a book based on them. I gave her my address and asked, anxiously and gratefully if she would sell me a copy when it was done. Unfortunately, I have never heard from her again. That was about 7 years ago.

Quote from: Amongthestarz333 on August 11, 2025, 10:12:47I have tried continuing the dream and just trying to "lucid dream" but same thing happens where I can't keep it going for more than a few seconds :-/ it's actually harder then if I stop the dream and it morphs into an astral awareness or something.
I experienced the same thing and it was frustrating, but, then it all changed. You say you are using your nightly affirmations and because of that you have shown you are ready to "progress". A new teaching and experiences await. Learn to "passively observe" all with an "air of curiosity". Then you can move on to "reacting".

I have learned to what has been called "dream walking". Almost nightly now, I am lucidly aware, (just as I am here), in my experiences. It has been so real that I no longer use the word "dream" while speaking about them. The trick I learned is to keep that fact that you are indeed having a lucid NPR experience, as far as you can in the back of your head. That way, you can interact just as you do here in wherever or whatever you are doing.

Here's another tip, ask the characters in the experience you find yourself, why "they" are there.

Tak. Quests, tests and challenges of all kinds are abound there. Welcome to your "new normal"! 8-)  :-)

Volgerle, I think you are being challenged to heighten and evolve your NP awareness. Over time, when developing a NP awareness, we seem to lack the desire to keep evolving. It has become the new norm and because of that, we seem to overlook the marvel of it all. When I feel myself slipping, I return to my earliest Journals and re-read what got me to where I am today. That seems to light the fire again!  8-)

Quote from: LightBeam on June 30, 2025, 21:56:06I think it's important to practice "observe but dont absorb". It's difficult but if we practice, we can start catching ourselves in these moments, reframe our action/reaction and let it go. Trust that if resolution is still pending, it will resolve at the rite time when it's meant to. Replaying and rehearsing will only create more of what we perceive as negative about the situation.
As an "Empath", you need to be aware of the energies that make up this reality here. My wife would notice when I had accidently, I guess you could say "absorbed" some kind of bad energy at a show. She would notice the immediate change in my mood and tell me to go "shake it out". She isn't here in this realm anymore, so I must be aware of this change myself. Every morning, before a show, I put a bubble, based on the Elements, around myself, that extends out 5ft, and I invite all like-minded, good-natured people and "entities" into it. There are a number of healers and seers at these shows. Some of the Merchants at the Wellness shows that I vend at, actually remove negative energies from a person, in a number of different ways. Reiki, Quantum touch, Shamanic healing and other modalities are used quite a bit there.

It's been a while since anything related to Astral travel has been posted on this Forum. A few days ago I listened to this excellent radio show interview with Jimmy Church (the host), and Jason Quitt (his guest), speaking on the topic of Astral travel. Jason seems to have experienced quite a few of the things that I did while learning to consciously shift to NPRS as well. I thoroughly enjoyed the discussion and know that others here would as well. Enjoy!

Quote from: tides2dust on June 02, 2025, 09:39:02That we fear how the tool is used is only reflective of human nature and its rich history where power is concerned.
It's not a fear of the tool. It's more like being aware and observing what is coming next. I gave up a long time ago having things like this bother me. Today, I just am aware, and I observe the, at times, insanity in the world today. My thinking is like Lightbeam says, "I guess this is the direction that Humanity today wants to go". Lessons will follow. They always do!

Here is a new article that goes deeper into the AI quote of Adrian's above.
https://www.yahoo.com/news/far-ai-defend-own-survival-140000824.html

Last week a friend of mine told me about a new AI app called "Grok". Years ago, my wife was working on a new children's book with a friend of hers. Unfortunately, her Cancer took her before she could finish it. I found her papers and wanted to do it for her. I also found that I was blocked by a number of circumstances beyond my control from finishing the book, at the that time that is. I told my friend that I still wanted to do it, and I that needed to find an Illustrator and Publisher. He then told me about and showed me his Grok app on his phone.

He told me that a few weeks ago he used it to make a bedtime story for his daughter. He basically told the app the basis of his plot and how many words he wanted, and in mere seconds, a full story was written. He then showed me how it does Art as well. He said to the app to create a photo of a blue bear with a white dog, holding a balloon, in a park setting. In seconds, there it was, but in a real time photo. He then told the app to convert the photo into a colored pencil drawing and once again, almost immediately, there it was. No copyright. No actual creator. The story was his. That basically will kill many forms of Art as we know it. He thought it was great. I saw the damage that it would soon be doing.

I have been shown repeatedly throughout my physical and non-physical existence that number 5 is the answer. At least that is what I "perceive" it to be.

Quote from: baro-san on May 25, 2025, 16:55:23I used the opportunity to state that I see astral projection, and other altered states of consciousness techniques, as being just tools, and not being an end in themselves. I learn what the tool is for, its limitations, how to use it, then use it if it helps me to attain a goal.
That is a recipe for success!  8-)

Quote from: Adrian on May 22, 2025, 02:37:391. Overreliance and Skill Erosion
Critical thinking decline: People may depend too much on AI for decisions, reducing their problem-solving abilities.
Loss of basic skills: Young people might skip learning essential skills (math, writing, navigation) if AI always handles them.
I just saw evidence of this firsthand. I have never "knowingly" used AI. Today, I was playing a word scramble game that I play for at least half an hour a day, to keep my memory fresh. It is likely AI too. It is a free game I have on my phone and because of that, there are ads at every finale in the board or level I am on. An ad came on that had a woman at a Laundromat. She was taking a photo of her clothing, so she could find out how to wash them. Forgive me if I am wrong, but are there not tags on the back of shirts with instructions on how to wash anymore? At least there is on my shirts. The ad was for a new phone that has a built in ap for AI in it.

A funny story though. A few years back I had to call a Gov't agency to rectify a problem. I called the number but instead of a person, I was being directed by a "Bot" of some kind. My request was to speak with a live person. They must get that request almost every call. After I voiced my request a second time, "she"/the bot, said in a snarky voice, "if you ask that one more time I am hanging up". AI with an attitude, lol!

Quote from: baro-san on May 25, 2025, 02:53:18It seems I gave you an incorrect impression; I am not spending much time using AI. I just use it as any tool when it helps me with what I need. It isn't the amount of using a tool that matters, but what you do with it; the same with astral projection, which is just a tool too.
It was just a joke, my friend. I should have put the "lol" in brackets. I apologize if it that offended you.

Every few years we are given a "tidbit", just to satisfy the cravings of the UFO community. That is likely what this is. The video uses Lue Elizondo for it's spokesman. Look up the name "Richard Doty". It worked once and as we know, if it worked in the past, it is likely to be used again. Time will tell though.

Baro-San, are you two connected? You have been spending a lot of time with each other, lol!  :-D

It looks like AI is indeed learning from Humans. It has already adapted the "never take blame" frame of mind, lol!

I wish someone would ask it the hard questions, like we are told how AI will help incredibly in the medical field, and that that in turn will lead to people living longer. I wonder what AI would say would then be the answer to the overpopulation that that will cause or better yet, "what population control mode" would it implement to handle such a problem.

Almost every positive thing that AI will do, will have still have a negative side as well. It's just that good marketing only lets you see what it wants you to see, the "bright side".

Quote from: Volgerle on May 22, 2025, 08:28:18I think "they" wanted to get my attention. Might have to do with retrievals I offered to do again. I also had vivid dreams this night and one was about being trained within a group setting as a kind of paramedic or even emergency doc. So it makes sense.
I think so too. See that as a "wake up call" of sorts. Your new DT (Dream trigger). I think you have some incoming NPR lessons to stay of aware of. That's the way it happens with me. A trigger of some shape or form, that happens repeatedly, will put me on a higher level of awareness that there is some kind of important info, or a "download", that is coming soon.

Learning how to Phase into the NPRs while consciously aware will also lessen the exhaustion you feel after a LD experience, and even an "OBE" itself.

It becomes "familiar". Unfortunately, it still will have an "emotional toll". That is why I say that learning how to become consciously aware in your "Dreams", is not for everyone. Many times, it will either make or break your waking day!

As for the comments above and even the photo of the Astral Island. That has always been my "happy place" throughout my life. The imagery of approaching it from above as you descend down to the sand below is awesome. That is when you allow your curiosity to steer your course, don your "Explorer's Cap" and go explore. Many times, I find that an adventure awaits.!  8-)

In the past here I made a thread attempting to revitalize the motivation to "return to Astral Island". Unfortunately, it died out quickly. There were some great ideas in that may help your own NPR explorations Alex. Perhaps we can stir up some interest to work on some targets as a group. See what we can see and compare our results!  :-) See, being used in more an "observer" roll.

Quote from: EscapeVelocity on May 01, 2025, 01:01:12Since this discussion has drifted slightly into the idea of "group focus", I thought I would add my own ideas and context.
I apologize to Alex for hi-jacking his thread. It has opened to some good discussion though! I'm sure that many here can benefit from this discussion as well.

EV, you are correct. Not everyone will perceive things the same way. We confirmed that on the Barbecue thread at the EIC too. The NPRs are not just a "visual" experience. They can be experienced in all kinds of different ways. Visual imagery is just one of them and what most people would "expect" to see or experience. The "energetic" side is just as important. Each and every way has something new to show and teach you! Leave yourself open to all and there will be no limits!

QuoteMy point in all this is that- A visit to The Halls of Aventi, Astral Pulse Island, Bee's Barbecue, my group's Retrievals or Starlines adventures...all those experiences are available. It likely depends on a person's individual ability to focus and probably the remaining energy sustaining the destination. If you want better experiences, then put in the work to improve them.

EV, that is such a good quote, that I feel it needs to be repeated again. In bold letters this time!  :-)

Quote from: Adrian on April 30, 2025, 10:41:53Great, thanks Xanth.

The second image represents the original Astral Pulse Island I was involved with.

Throughout the years there has been a number of attempts to take this on as a "group" focus, but unfortunately, it never panned out. I was having great success with it. It truly became and still is, my "Happy Place"! It has evolved quite a bit though. There is always something new to explore there!  8-)

Over at the EIC Forum of Fred Aardema's, we had a thread dedicated to a focus on a "Barbeque"/meeting area that we could all attempt to access. The thread was called "the Barbecue" It worked, and we were having success, but then Fred shut down the Forum. I was really hoping "B" and the others would come to the Astral Pulse to continue what we were doing. I miss that forum. I miss my talks with Fred too. The forum was made up of people that were well versed in consciously projecting/shifting into NPRs. I am pretty sure that almost every Moderator that is currently here on Pulse, was a member there as well! Good times!  :-)
