Mentos and Diet Coke.

A coupe of Marines discovered that Mentos and Diet Coke react violently with each other.  So much so that they shot a video of them doing a little water show type thing with Mentos and Diet Coke.  They had the bottles set up so they would shoot out in different directions and the timed it to music and all.  It's pretty crazy.

You are in one of the few places where the people are open about all the things that "normal" society ignores and you're worried about feeling weird.

Well okay, to each their own, I just thought I'd point that out.

I guess it's true.

Give a handful of monkey's enough time at a keyboard and they still won't produce anything worth reading.

This one of the things that truly pains me.  I just don't understand how a people can become so misguided in life and end up truly believing this kind of crap.  

I personally believe that anyone who thinks they are superior to anyone simply because of their color, religion, hair, eyes, or even body type shot get one in the brain case.

Stupidity knows no boundaries.

Are you sure it's you don't like being a male or is it you don't like being a teenager (or didn't, depending on how old you are now.)  Of course preferences being what they are I will not encourage one type of behavior over another.  However it is often that younger people get angry and are also often confused as they are growing up.  They don't really realize the source of various problems that they may be having and often focus on one single aspect, usually because of some thing that has happened.

Not to make light of your situation, but every one goes through a period where they just don't like who they are.  Some times this lasts well into the young adult years.  I know that me personally I didn't really start becoming comfortable with myself until I was 25.

I don't dress up as anything.  I just wear what I normally wear.  I find that kind of funny because most people think that I am trying to be some one from The Matrix, or Blade.  But I just normally wear all black and a trench coat.  It even stranger that the only reason I wear the coat is because it ends up being kind of cold in San Diego for me.  I mean it's usually 110 or 115 in Phoenix and it's like 75, 80 there.  It takes a couple of days to get used to the temperature drop.

Pictures yes!  I will take many.

Flash Gordon.....no.....and defiantly no pictures of that should I end up drunk one evening.

Anybody here ever go to this?  If you haven't it's great fun.  The San Diego International Comic Book Convention.  Now me personally, I don't collect comic books.  But that is not why I go either.  I go because of every thing else they do.  This thing covers every thing from comic books to movies based on comic books, animated TV shows to anima, and from the ordinary to Sci-fi.  Books, games, movies, collectibles, and more.

I can't wait.  16 more days until I get there and then it's a week of fun and relaxation.

Ahhh, two what? And what thing with two's?  Do I have a thing with two's?  Toes....maybe, but I don't think two's.

Wow, that's screwed up.

Well, lets see.  Cainam is Maniac backwards which is the way that I am.  I am a little crazy but there is a method to my madness.  And Nazier is just some thing I pulled out of the sky so to speak.  An I just put the together.  Cainam Nazier.

Oddly enough I have done a name search on them and they show up in various forms in Arabic.  Cainam meaning "of God" and Nazier meaning "from Nazzarine".  I just thought it was kinda creepy that  would choose those names.

Maybe it was a warning then, or maybe your mind playing out your fears.  That being if your current path continues unaltered.

This happened a few minutes ago while on another site.  I pulled the post from there to post here because I am curious if there is any input.

I did not knwo where else to put this for now.  But I am currently experiencing a moment.  It is difficult to explain what is happening right now.  The processes of logical though become difficult.  

I was reading a post when it started.  Everything became louder, more pronounced.  Even my own thoughts became yells from my own mind.  It seems that every thing is moving slower or I am going faster......


It's past now.  Now that I can think a little clearer now.  I have been getting these surges, for lack of a better term.  It builds slowly at first and grows.  As I said everything gets really loud.  Not painfully so but more like I can hear everything and can not block out any sound.  My thoughts do the same thing.  They get louder and louder and it feels like I am yelling at myself just to form thoughts.  Some what like I am trying to yell over the noise of the enviroment.  

It also feels like everything speeds up or slows down, it's hard to tell really.  It seems like I am doing things at an accelerated rate.  However last time this happened I checked the time, should have done it this time, and it took me a really long time to write about it while it was happening.  Like time was moving faster.

This one only seemed to last a couple of minutes.  The last time this happened it went for 30.  I have had this happen several times lasting anywhere from a minute or so to an hour.

The feeling it's self can only be described as odd.  Like a rush of adrenaline, but with out the physical effects of it, and no trigger that should cause it.  That doesn't really do it justice but it's the best I can do.

Any ideas of what this is?

Its funny how that works huh.  Look at it this way.  Maybe you really needed the sleep and since your brain figured out everything was okay you went back to sleep.

Well, I was speaking in general terms.  But I have this friend you see, and he has problems.  

But in reality I am not "that" old yet.

Not to mention all the pars that fall off!  

Or stop working.  

I have been sitting on this one a couple of days and have been debating whether or not to post it.

I couple of days ago I had a Steak Dream. Oh the wonders of the reality to the sense that dreams lend. But I digress, simply remembering the dream makes my mouth water. I will not deny it, I am a carnivore. I know that many on the spiritual path end up choosing, or through up bringing, are vegetarians. I have heard many arguments for this but just can not see myself ever making the switch.

So the dream starts, or rather the awareness as everything before tends to be forgotten, and I am standing in a kitchen. A rather buzzer kitchen at that as there are very few level surfaces. Some thing that is very common in my dreams that are not based off of physical locations. The entire scene had a Van Gogh appearance to it. Things were a flurry of shapes hammered together to form objects. Even the appliances were uneven. The grill that I was standing in front of consisted of four equally sized squares that formed crooked line. But this being the norm as I said before did not surprise me. I am always amused by the lack of physics.

Also in the room were two people. I man, dressed as a cook and a woman in an evening gown. I only ever saw the back of the woman. The dress red in color and flowing to her ankles, tight around her waste, and cut high on her shoulders. Her hair was black and hung straight to her mid back. She seemed to be helping the cook. He was a black man wearing the common cooks garb, the white shirt/coat top and black pants. He was preparing the meal and working diligently at his counter. He and the woman were leaning close to each other and whispering. It seemed there was something going on that they were keeping from me.

I could smell the aroma of the marinade and tenderizer. From the motion of his arms I could see that he was cutting and then dipping the meat in the sauce. He had three pieces that he handed to me and since I was at the grill I tossed them on. I stood there in silence, observing, and tending to the steaks. I was still amused that I could use the grill even though two of the squares were at almost 90 degree angles. As the cooking continued for some time I began to get hungry. The smells and the appearance of the steak just fueled my hunger.

It seemed that the longer I was there the stronger the sensations that were being generated. I could soon feel them creeping into my physical self as I lay in bed. The dream was making me hungry. I had only been asleep for a couple of hours and had eaten before laying down. But the craving just got stronger. Eventually I could no longer take it, the dream ended and I woke up. I was so over powered by the sensations that I needed to satisfy them. Since I had no steak I went outside and grilled two burgers. Not anywhere near the steak I had envisioned but a beef product and that would have to do.

I do not normally dream about food. Sure I tend to wake up hungry, that's normal for me. I also do not typically wake up craving one particular food, just feeling the need to eat in general. This dream struck me as being odd. It has been a while since I have had a good steak but I routinely eat burgers, chicken, and other meat products. Typically more white meats than red, but I do get my fair share of red meats.

I have been pondering the implications of this dream for the last few days. There are several things to consider. What was the secret being kept from me? Who was the woman? Why the dream about food? Why such a strong impact on my physical self? All this and not to mention about the implications of preparing, cooking, and the suggested eating of meat in dreams which is often considered a bad thing.

Or was I just really hungry to begin with? Or was it my pre bed meal screwing with me? I had a fairly common pre bed meal, PB&J with some chips. It's never done that before.

Things to consider......or not.

It's a lighting effect.  Light colored eyes are more likely to go red in pictures.

Fallnangle77,  It's the same effect as every thing shrinking as you get older.  Then you hit a certain age and everything begins to grow again and get heavier.

Yeah, it's kinda screwy that her eyes are really red and no one elses are.

Mental note.....be nice.

Staying calm helps a lot.  It's easy to get worked up when your awareness kicks in.  More so if things start changing at a rapid pace.  You have to get used to being in that state really.  The issuing yourself commands helps a bunch, and since you had some success with that I would stick with it.  Being aware is the hardest step.  Staying there is a matter of willpower.

I can understand the complaint however I also understand supply and demand.  As was mentioned with production, shipping, advertising, and the like, it all has to be paid for some how.  But then you also complain about services that "could" be free.  I that they could be free because yes there is no overhead and such.  However if these people really do have a gift then they often get hammered by requests and people seeking help.  Look at Sylvia Brown.  She is often considered the best at what she does.  A great many people know this.  And in order to limit the field a little on how many people contact her she has to charge money.  If she didn't she could spend 24/7 with people trying to help them and never have any time to herself.  And even with the amount of money she charges there are people lined up at her door.

It's all just supply and demand.  The more demand and the lower the supply the higher the price.

Controlling the different aspects of a dream takes just a little bit of control.  You have to focus on what you want.  You already know that you are dreaming, now you just have to convince yourself that you can do anything in a dream.

As far as trying to convince everyone that it's a dream.  It has been my experience that even if you can do all kinds of weird things dream characters rarely in not never will believe that it is a dream.  You kinda have to remember that even though its a dream for you its their reality.

My glasses broke, and then my computer.

But my glasses are old and my computer has 2nd rate parts.

DO you honestly think that this will happen.  Personally I don't even think it is real.  But I could be wrong.  Besides I have lived with out the Internet before, should this actually happen.  Plus honestly you can not suddenly control a global entity.  It just can't happen.  But lets say for what even reason some one manages to say "hey, no more Internet unless you pay."  Well it would only truly effect the servers operating in the US.  And there would really only have to be one small group of people to say no.  And they would be the ones who actually own the servers that 60-80 percent of the Internet traffic travels through.  Which are located in California.  tinkle those guys off, they flip switch, and bye bye Internet.

Besides we could just as easily go back to BBS's in a mass revolt and they couldn't a thing about it.  With the way computers are now versus 15 years ago it would be even easier.
